First visit to the farm shop despite being reasonably local. The shop itself had a good variety of produce. The meat section looked exceptional. Made the fatal mistake of looking and then going to the cafe. Returned after a drink to find all the lamb burgers gone!! Oh well just means I’ll have to come back again. We had latte, hot chocolate and shared a chocolate brownie which was nice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The cafe very light and airy. I liked the outdoor space and the fact sheep and cattle on display. There was a nice vibe to the place in general. In summing up I would recommend a visit and we will certainly be going back for a breakfast or lunch. We will also be be looking to buy more of our meat and vegetables from here.

A lovely place to eat and shop! The restaurant is light and airy, staff friendly and welcoming. And the food was delicious! Fish and chips were very good - the fish tasted fresh and was beautifully cooked. The minute steak was cooked very well and was tasty. And the cakes look amazing (though sadly didn't try one). The farm shop has a large variety of items, with a decent butchery counter. Will definitely be returning.

We've been here for breakfast.. which was grand the the way, so thought we'd try Sunday lunch. It's a large cafe style arrangement off the main shop. The servers are all really nice, polite, lovely girls. I had the 2 meat option (beef & pork belly) the meat was cooked perfectly, served with nice big Yorkie..but the stuffing was another level .. as was the gravey beautiful... Few little niggs the white cabbage was a bit limp and the roasties could of been crispier ..but it was all very nice 👍👍

Easy access , pleasant surroundings , cracking cup of coffee and a lovely ploughman’s too ! The homemade potato salad was delicious the best we’ve ever eaten , nice size portions overall with excellent service from the team . There was a lovely seating section outside but a tad warm for us so settled for the the air con indoors ! Managed to pick up various bits in the shop and lady and gent behind the deli and meat counter were very pleasant and helpful too ! Will return again soon. Thanks

Friendly and attentive staff, good atmosphere. I realise this is a farm shop but why no veggie breakfast options? I ended up having beans on toast.

While the coffee was good the food was terrible. The chips tasted like they had been fried in dirty oil; the minute steak was truely minute (excuse the pun); and the cheese and ham toasty had a meer sliver of ham and the cheese was invisible. And to top it all it was not inexpensive.

Wonderful light and airy room for meals in the Ruby Red Cafe. Staff were cheerful and answered all our questions about where the food and coffee came from. Very reasonably priced and quick service

We live about 3 miles away and often at a weekend will walk here with our dog for breakfast. We have been lucky enough to have been able to sit outside each time in the lovely garden. The staff are all friendly and efficient, the menu is good and the ingredients all top notch. Fabulous coffee too.

This pub is brilliant - the owners are so welcome and it has a great atmosphere. It is reasonably priced (we had a main meal for around £8 and a few drinks) and there is a good selection of food and drinks. It is everything a village pub should be and I’ll definitely be returning

Unexpectedly stumbled upon this friendly pub on an afternoon walk, very reasonably priced drinks and friendly service.

We heard The White Hart was under new ownership so we came along for midweek lunch - it was great! We were warmly greeted by a kind lady behind the bar which had lots of ale, lager & cider choices. We ordered the daily special with a drink which for £12 was great value. The Cod & Chips and Scampi were exactly what you’d expect from a country town pub grub - well worth the money. The desert of STP was also lush. We’d definitely recommend this pub for a great quality and great value midweek lunch. We’ll come back for Sunday Lunch soon.

I am thrilled that you are getting back up and running. I've had so many relaxed and friendly hours in the cafe with friends that I am looking forward to more accompanied by a fab nut roast and side salads fit for a queen. Airy and plenty of space (unlike other cafes that cram as many in as they can) so it feels very Covid safe even without have to make big changes.

Only gave 1 as half isn't an option utterly disgusting, rude staff, food was below any kind of standard and cold when I complained felt like I was an inconvenience to the staff dirty and the whole experience was extremely unpleasant wouldn't be going their again
