Food was exceptional. Deserts were fabulous. Cider was delicious. We really enjoyed our Sunday lunch in a very welcoming environment. We highly recommend.

We booked for lunch at The Stag. Unfortunately the outside is in need of some loving, compared to the old pictures, but the inside is lovely and rustic. It is only a small place with big tables, so we recommend booking. The food was lovely. We’re both vegetarians, but one of us doesn’t have dairy either and this place catered for us. In fact they went out of their way to double check or offer something else, for the more awkward of us.. everything was cooked to perfection and tasted lovely. I had the sherry trifle (it definitely had sherry in). This place also allows dogs. The staff were friendly and even offered to run us somewhere, if we couldn’t get a taxi. We would return here, if we’re ever in the area again.

La comida era sabrosa y buena relación calidad-precio. El servicio fue excelente. Personal muy amable y acogedor. Es una pena que el bar cierre a las 8. 30 pm pero no nos impactó mucho. Sin duda utilizaríamos el restaurante y el bar si nos alojamos en el sitio de Bath Mill de nuevo.

Booked in advance and arrived to find a great little pub run by lovely people. Menu choice was limited but of good quality and reasonably priced. Loved the French Onion Soup, perfect on a winters night. Excellent service in a pub with a great atmosphere.

Great selection of lunch dishes. Was able to cater for a family party of 7 with a couple of allergies with no issues. Good local beers which were well kept. Would recommend the food and drink and overall price

Lovely place! Great location! 4 adults and 3 children popped in midmorning for drinks and a snack while waiting for others out on the boat. They didn’t have anything snacky available at that time so we ordered some toast and the staff were so accommodating and brought out some little extras for the kids. Delicious food, lovely drinks! All round great experience!

Such an amazing warm friendly pub, Nice old british feel about the place which is rare to find nowadays with most pubs being very "modern" the staff are very friendly and will help you with anything, Karoke happens every weekend which is a great laugh, I would definitely recommend coming here, Great people, cheap beer & great laughs what more could you want 😀

Los baños de Clifton Down y Queens Square son asquerosos. Yendo a dejar de usar Coffee# 1 como con los precios que cobran, no hay excusa para baños sucios.

On our visit to the UK we were staying nearby and we were recommend the Sunday lunch. I have got to say it is the best Sunday lunch I have had in a pub. Top notch produce from the beef to the superb roast potatoes. The pub is warm , staff and locals super friendly and well kept drinks. Highly recommended but save me a seat for our next visit 😊

Friendly staff, good beer, lovely dogs (Albert and Pixie). Great vegetarian food, would give 4.5 out of 5 if I could. We love it

Nice new decor ,great food , very friendly staff great with kids requests ,out the back a small secure play area and garden . Themed food nights we went Thursday and it’s steak night …delicious ,good beer selection Will definitely be back
