Coffee Cave in Bournemouth

Food and drink ok, but front door left open ,with no explanation and it was cold,

Incredible! I have the waffle today with banana and Nutella! Insane is all I have to say! And there ice lattes are so good! Definitely recommend coming here. The atmosphere and staff are so lovely and helpful.

Don't like it there no atmosphere ,won't bother going back

We were out walking with our 5 month old grandson and popped in for coffee, never been before, we had flat white coffee which we both enjoyed.

Wouldn't stop for coffee here, they have no customer toilets!

Lady behind the counter not friendly, no smile or conversation. Caee was freezing asked if I could close the door and was told no, so we all sat there with our coats . Ordered a panni when it came I asked if I could have some sauce I was told I have to take it back to put it into the Panni, I said I wanted it on the side of my plate and was told I couldn't have the bottle due to covid and asked how much I wanted so she could put it on my plate. Though out the whole visit not a smile and not at all friendly. Certainly wouldn't be going there again.

Visited Coffee Cave today for coffee and lunch. My husband and I had a very enjoyable experience. We were able to sit inside being well ventilated we felt very safe. Coffee was exceptional as always and our jacket potatoes were light and airy. Lovely ambience.

I’ve just finished eating their home-made red velvet cheesecake and I wish I could have another slice. I love this CAFE - they have the personal touch, The atmosphere is like a cosy little cottage with a wood burner and so much home-made food including soup and cakes. Thank you guys for an amazing meal

Just turned away from an empty cafe because they do not allow buggies. Could not even request a take away coffee. I have always thought it looked like a lovely cafe and am always looking for a new place to go for lunch. Safe to say I won't be returning. I would suggest your limited space is made clearer to prospective customers then maybe you wouldn't be empty.

Lattes were good, muffin and sausage bap decent Friendly server warm atmosphere :)

Went to visit this morning. Sign on open door said "welcome, come in" which we did as Covid restrictions has eased. There was a table with hand gel etc which we used then an extremely angry and abusive woman started shouting at us to get out as it was table service only. The look on her face was extremely aggressive. We rightly pointed out that the door sign said - welcome, come in- but that seemed to make her worse. Needless to say, we left and will never ever attempt to attempt to visit this badly run place again.

My friend & I visited this cafe this morning & started to go through the open door which had a sign to say we are open come on in. Well just as we were going through we got shouted at very sharply by the woman whom was inside & she told us to go outside as they were taking orders outside. She was extremely rude gave us filthy looks so we decided not to stay for a cuppa as that sort of attitude when you are a paying customer did not go down well with us! This is not the correct way to run a business. If they didn’t want people just walking in then maybe they should change their so called welcome sign. We have been to this cafe before & ordered a hot chocolate which came out with milk & a chocolate lolly in it, by the time the chocolate was starting to melt the milk was cold so not really a decent hot chocolate. I hasten to add they was a family inside the cafe this morning so we were very surprised not yo be allowed in. As you can imagine we will not be visiting this cafe again to be spoken to so rudely!

Very friendly owners. Good cup of coffee Latte and cappuccino) and really nice they are open for take out during lock down.

Todos nos lamentamos por la falta de servicio personal y la indiferencia de las grandes tiendas y negocios, esto es lo que hace diferente a la Cueva del Café, habiendo regresado de unas vacaciones en el extranjero, ahora tenemos que pasar los próximos 14 días en cuarentena, siempre vamos al Café Cueva para nuestra dosis de cafeína matutina y nuestro ahora pequeño grupo social, nos reunimos con nuevos amigos mientras disfrutamos de nuestra bebida y, a menudo, uno de los exuberantes pasteles caseros de Kim, esta mañana, mientras está encerrado, Kim aparece en nuestra puerta con un café de bienvenida a cada uno. un gran agradecimiento, algo que no recibiríamos de un café local más grande sin nombre.

Good coffee, toast advertised on menu but told me they couldn't make me any as they were very busy, back to Costa for me.

Lovely little local café with delicious baguettes, salads, baked potatoes and coffee options. Personable and friendly owners - we love visiting Coffee Cave for the pulled pork baked potatoes, with coleslaw! Reasonable prices and great food! Highly recommend!

Lovely friendly local cafe 2 minutes walk from my house. Yummy smoothies and homemade soup. Ordered jacket potatoes over the phone last week and picked them up 15 minutes later.

Always enjoy my visits, some nice homemade cakes and light meals and really friendly staff.

Although the Coffee Cave could easily be overlooked, think again,it is first class. No more will we be drinking Costa coffee, the variety here is amazing, one is spoilt for choice. We decided to have a snack and chose omelette, it was the BEST I have ever tasted and the service of this very quick, no long wait!! Most things are home baked, (what a change) and everything is well presented. I fell in love with the tables, a nice change to the norm. Enter the Coffee Cave and you will see how it got its name. We visited more than once,so saw different staff, however, they were all cheerful, chatty, and made one feel most welcome, a plus here was no long waits.Very reasonable costs, and everything very tasty. The impressive thing here was the cleanliness, any mishaps cleared and sorted immediately, and an upset child quickly put back at ease with jokey staff. Looking forward to further visits when in the area.Well done everyone, and many thanks.

This is only a small cafè of 16 seats which gives it a nice, intimate feel & it's very clean. The menu is what you'd expect but the prices are amazing, they are the cheapest in the area. The orange juice was fresh & chilled & the food was delicious, though in my opinion the portion sizes (breakfast buns) were quite small - but this is understandable when you take into consideration the price. The staff were friendly. The kitchen/eating area is quite open, but there was no overpowering noise. I'd definitely reccomend if you're in the area. There is decent parking directly opposite.

What a great Cafe! A nice friendly place serving Cakes, Breakfast baps, Rolls, Sandwiches and Salads along with hot and cold drinks. You can actually taste 'Coffee' in your coffee! I/we would definitely use again. Super! 😁👍

This cafe is new to our community. Excellent for a light bite with interesting "wall paper", go and have a look. All food freshly prepared and tasty. We'll call again soon.
