Nice people that work here. Sometimes coffee nice and sometimes almost lukewarm. Big coffee shop, lots of seating.

It's surprisingly bigger than looked outside, actually it has a big sitting area. It was early morning when I visited the cafe, almost empty. The customer service was excellent and friendly. Had a toastie and coffee, which was very nice starter on a cold day like this.

I was visiting a friend in Bournemouth. We went in for coffee. I don't know the language, but observing the staff and the attitude towards the customer, it's ok. However, the cleanliness of the spoon and the tray where the coffee and cake were served...yyyy....what a disaster!!!! I have a photo but I won't post it because the so-called The sanitary inspectorate would probably visit them. Overall, I recommend it, but next time I would probably take it in a takeaway cup, which would not be appropriate.

The team in boscombe are a real credit to costa,Holly the Manger is always so happy,kind ,nothing is to much trouble,highly recommend boscome costa

The service can be slow at times and tables are often left with empties on them for some time. Having said that, the coffee and drinks selection is good and the location is very convenient.

Eventhough its okay i think this deserves one star for putting paper in my drink my sandwich once had plastic in it too so i give it one star

Went into get 2 coffees on 26th Jan at 7:15am and the girl serving was SO grumpy, rude in fact. Was going to do the 50p charity spin but she was so grumpy I just wanted to get out. Coffee was good, hence the 2 stars.

Where is my order? Says delivered but not received.

Missing items again! They sent a sausage bap instead of egg.. and missing rocky road..

They were out if sausage baps and gave me a bacon bap and a free cake- thank you

The whole order was wrong, they put blueberrie bubbles in the tropical drink, and sent 4 cake different from the order all containing nuts.. without a thought to what had been ordered. Abysmal!!

I asked for whipped cream there was no whipped cream I’ll be honest it was the only reason I ordered. Also there were these weird bits at the bottom of my drink :(

Ordered drinks only, nothing spilt and orders all correct. Will order again!

The staff are always polite and you can't beat costa coffee.

This cafe has been refurbished and looks fabulous, really light and spacious. April 23. Lovely cafe with plenty of seating. A welcome retreat from Boscombe shopping area! Good selection of cakes and pastries.

The new manager Ashton is super friendly, efficient and the whole team seem to work well together. My coffee was made to perfection- 10/10 service

Friendly staff, fast service and ample seating indoors and outside too.

Drinks were unpleasant. Despite giving specific written instructions with the order they were ignored. One pays a premium for drinks to be delivered, so it would be nice if the coffee shop actually bothered to send what I've ordered and not something I haven't. Both out of courtesy for me as the customer and also because that's what I'm paying for. Not much to ask is it?

Not the best costa I've been to. One particular staff member was pretty rude. The others were okay. I'll go to the other one from now on

Staff all polite and service efficient. Food value and quality poor and overpriced. Will avoid Costa and use Greggs.

Having visited several time always a bit hit and miss dependent on staff on shift ! Last two visits served by a guy with beard who has real attitude - drinks were obviously mixed wrongly as tasted of nothing - cake Erick hard and dry ! Plenty of local independent cafes can do much better, happier staff and better products and service !!

You can't hear them and they can't hear you. The covid screens make life fun l. If you can communicate with sign language and facial expressions come to this costa.

Boscombe Costa is dropping the way they treat the customers good. There is always a problem ordering a basic hot/cold milk. Which is a basic product. The majority of the staff cannot make a proper flat white, let alone any other high quality drink. The service is delayed often due to the focus being on digital orders. And when you approach the store manager he wants to pass it on to area manager rather than deal with issue. I loved this store for a while, but lately its becoming a poor choice to enjoy a coffee out. Marie is probably the only 1 member who smiles and works effortlessly for the customer.

Missed half my order and coffee that arrived had spilt - only half left in the cup. The rest was at the bottom of a very soggy bag!!! Not impressed. Won’t be ordering again 😑

Lovely staff, lemon muffin very fresh, tasty & my Mocha yummy. Sat at front of shop. Shame on the bad reviews, they cannot help being so busy & having to wait. Just be more patient. I visited again today, sat in same place. ALEKSANDRA was just brilliant, I was very tearful about something & she was SO kind. She is just great. Thank you again X

The worst Costa I have been in! Grotty and the toilet being constantly banged while I was changing my daughters nappy only helped to make the visit miserable!

Please include Costa delivery barcodes so loyalty points can still be collected.

No clear waiting area when it's busy so those waiting are in between the tables. Other than that, friendly staff and good service.

Service is too slow. Not enough staff. 2 people working at lunch time for a busy chain during Christmas is ridiculous.

I do like this place it's our regular before football but staffing issues here mean it takes far too long to queue and get a drink!

Very very slow! Was waiting 15 mins and walked out! There was only 7 people waiting, not a good team there, too many new staff who aren’t good with customer skills. Will soon go downhill now Carlos has left!

Changed my review from 4 stars to 2. Now I have a baby I am removing stars for lack of accommodation towards babies. Given the price of a couple of coffee’s and snacks, asking for a cup of hot water to heat a baby bottle up is a little thing and to be refused is frankly miserable. Worse still is the lack of any sockets to use a usb warmer. Quite simply if you have babies and they need a feed… don’t come here!

It's a Costa..... good access for disabled folks, rubbish if you want to buy spectacles! Good if you want to buy Costa Coffee! There are better Cafe's but you can drink their stuff without poisoning your self!

Really bad service. Very busy and the staff were not friendly or helpful at all. Asked for my drink in a white mug then got a glass. Asked for a mug my drink was thrown in a cup with the chocolate sprayed over the tray not even a saucer. I drink in Costa most days and this is the worst Costa I have been to. One waitress was at least cleaning tables but the seats were wet as they had been sprayed. Never again. Terrible.

Didn't get my snacks, can't get refund

The coffee was OK but the coffee shop was long and narrow, dark and uninviting. The seating in the rear of the premises was designed for people with XXX long legs and me being a mere 5 ft 8 found it impossible to sit back in comfort. The barista was very good looking though so I suppose it does have its good points.

The coffee and food is the usual Costa quality (read into that as you will). But the cleanliness was terrible. In the 30 minutes we were here, not one table was cleaned/sanitised. Yes, they were cleared and according to their labelling that means they’re ‘good to go’, but nothing was wiped down, a really basic thing to do. With staff and customers walking around without masks, and tables not wiped down, someone please shut this place down.

Quality coffee, beats the competition. Friendly staff & in my case very helpful. The coffee is always the same quality no matter if it's town, motorway or airport. Tasty snacks that complement your coffee. Impressed with the extra time taken when wiping down surfaces due to covid. One criticism of the boscombe outlet, it's starting to look a wee bit tired, the interior needs some TLC. Still worth a visit though. Enjoy.

Food was on time but the order was completely wrong. Sandwich that I ordered wasn’t delivered and I ordered a bacon roll/bap, they delivered a sausage roll/bap. You can not contact Costa to complain as the phone number doesn’t work. I won’t be ordering from them again!!

For the second time in a row this particular Costa has left items out of the order absolutely abysmal service from them and hung up when I tried to get advice!!

Local order from a local outlet. Drink arrive hot and correct order. Well packaged.

Costa is Costa. The staff are in no hurry, no appreciation that they may be at work already but I'm on my way and don't want to be late. And first cup of coffee is urgent! And they have one door for entrance and one door for exit, but the exit door is locked. Why?

Ordered 2 drinks... only one came.

So satisfying to be able to sit outside in the sun and have a coffee and toasted sandwich.

Great fast service. Busier than notmal as 50p promotion for their birthday.

Take away only during the current Lockdown 3.0, but they're doing their best and the staff seem to be staying fairly cheerful.

Good coffee but I hate that the tables do not seem to be cleaned between guests. Why can't they provide disinfectant and paper towels so that one can wipe the table before and after, like cafe Nero does? I caught Covid and had a fever for two weeks. Please take all reasonable precautions.

A rainy December day in Boscombe, and we took a coffee break at Costa, near WH Smiths. Mid-morning, and the staff were doing an excellent job, coping with a rush of customers while adhering to the covid procedures. As ever, our Costa coffees were very good, (the only "corporate" coffee brand we like), as were the seasonal mince pie and mini bakewell EI tart we had. Great value: £8.80 total. Tables were being cleared swiftly by the staff, but the place really needed a bit more of a general clean. Especially if the occasional customer dropped litter or crumbs on the floor. I think some of the furniture cohld do with sprucing-up or replacing/brightening up? That said, we did enjoy our visit. Covid measures were thorough and reasurring, although some customers, as in other places, seemed to be ignoring social distancing and not wearing masks. I can't fault the staff though. Easy level access and code-protected toilets. Pay car parks, free roadside parking and the beach, are all a 10min stroll away or less.

Too busy for the staff on to manage cos noone cleaning anything tables all filthy it's bad hygiene considering we are stuck in another lockdown it's no wonder all the staff had there masks down while serving food and drinks

I came into your coffee shop yesterday to meet a friend. I was disgusted with the hygiene level.. Our table had stuck on paper and sugar on it. The rail round the wall of the seating area was thick with dust and the mirror was filthy. The base of the table was sticky and dirty.. I needed to use the toilet but that was even worse.. Shame on you Costa..🤬

Lovely staff but very unsanitary especially during covid the staff puts the ground up coffee in and then levels it by wiping with their hands, also saw a member of staff wipe a dirty mark off of the rim of a two handled coffee cup with her finger before serving the customer the coffee very unhygienic

Well kept and clean. Usual Costa afair. Didn't realise how big it is, with plenty of tables at the back. From the front it looks rather small. Nice surprise.

Not so good lay out during covid, as we entered we had to pass other people squeezing through 1 open door. The person on the till obviously did not want to be there as it showed in taking our order but it was clean and our order was right.

Worst customer service ever. I went Tuesday morning with a friend , and had the worst service . Young man that serve us, really slow at taking orders ,an eternity to make them.. at the End he give us the wrong drinks( we asked for Iced Honeycomb Coffee, and give us Iced cappuccino ?! ) . I when and asked to replace them, but his Skills on Customer Service are terrible. NO APOLOGY, No Ofer to Exchange them, NOTHING. He keep saying that was our order!! We just Had to threw the coffee in the bin and left the place. Definitely We will never going back there again!! What’s worst, the manager so everything, and took no action!!!!
