Enjoyed a family meal here. Nice menu with plenty of choice. The mega mixed grill was nicely cooked and pretty good value for the amount of food you get. Service was good an very little wait time for our food and drinks. Look out for offers on the app as we got a 25% discount off our food Overall a good place for a relaxed family meal.

Met family here for lunch before they headed home. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, good value and served promptly. Service was very good from bar and waiting staff. Well done to everyone.

Very good. Sat outside, very organized, food took 20 mins, piping hot, ordered 2 meals for £10. The red wine lasagne and baby leaf spinach was excellent as was the hand battered fish and chips. Both were large portions. Excellent will go again. Well done Iford Bridge

Being a regular visitor I am able to confirm that the friendliness of the staff, the warmth of the welcome and the quality of the food are consistently good.

Dined Saturday night 22/04/17 food was best it has been for months trying to pick it up so will have to wait and see went back 06/05/17 unfortunately standard has slipped again decided not worth going back wasting money find other eating places just dined in here again just to try absolutely rubbish food and staff no point in complaining nobody takes any notice can truly say stay and home or go elsewhere save being ripped off

Great usual pub grub but with good size portions. The sizzler choices are spot on. Always busy so book a table is recommended.

The food was good and the service was prompt and friendly, it was too hot inside could've done with some air conditioning, glass for my bottle of zero Peroni was filthy I didn't use it.

Been here on a few occasions, sometimes after golfing not too far away from this venue... Have always enjoyed this place so took the family for a meal... I built this place up and everyone was famished... When I went to order the food I was informed they'd run out of this, then they didn't have that...etc... So we all up and left disappointed... I'm sure there was a reason.. I'm not discrediting this place.. just pointing this out to the management... I will go back... Great food and prices..

Booked a table for 4 at 7.45 for dinner. As soon we arrived the lady at the bar told us that the last order for the kitchen was at 8pm so we only had few minutes to choose from the menu what we wanted. We never been there before so we were surprised to find out that they shut so early. Even in summer. If you book online customers she be made aware about the closing time as we wouldn’t book for 7.45. Anyway the food was ok but nothing special. Fries were cheap and the peas on my plate super dry! Too much time in the microwave!!! Average.

Thaplate was full of chips missing in the china and not a good response when told would not recomend this place in case cut fingers on plates

We have been going to the Iford monthly or so for some years and have always found it friendly with good cheap food. Sadly last night the staff seemed to have changed completely but certainly not for the better. I appreciate that it was busy but they were off hand, uncaring and rude. If this is the standard that is now to be expected we will not be returning.

Pretty standard Sizzling Pub. Food is better than usual, must have good chefs. Drinks are OK- selection on tap is mediocre - if you like cider, better prepare for Strongbow.

Had a meal of scampi and chips here on saturday last. very poor value, the small portion of skinny chips were cold, just a tablespoon of peas and about 8 small nuggets of scampi which were quite hard. for a cost of over £9 it was very poor indeed...

Service is good. Pub needs a refurb inside and out to help it compete with competitors. It feel like it hasn't had one for a long long time.

I have to give a fair review, and I had high hopes for this pub. The pub was nice and clean and the atmosphere was chilled, the wee girl working behind the bar was friendly and gave good advice on a drink, however the food service was poor, slow, and if tou have poor signal don't use the at the table app, however I'm not sure if they offer free WiFi... When the food finally got to us, the chicken burger was okay, but sadly, it was topped off with a cold slice of bacon, that looks like it could have been cooked just a wee bit longer so it would of been hot along with the rest of the burger. Oh and just for preference, toast the bun just a bit But, and stop putting a wooden stick though the burger, wood can sweat under heat, and when wood gets damp it may splinter, and to be fair it's contaminating the food that is cooked, because who knows how the sticks are stored. The spicy topper on the chips was not spicy, but that's probably to taste, and the cheese was cold and overpowered all the other flavours. But to be fair, I would come here again because it was all well presented, and every place has off days. Reply to establishment, I will be coming back in for a visit at the end of next week, I am sorry for the strict review because I really believe that the day I cam was just an off day, so I gladly except your invite to come again, and I will amend my review then.

It's ok..... It's weird that if you want to go in for a drink, you still have to wait to be seated at a table. Nothing was particularly good or bad so it was ok

We got the 40% off mains discount which made the already reasonable priced food even better. Although it was the meals not extras like onion rings or dirty fries upgrade. For the money it’s good, but not great food. Dirty fries bit of a let down. Chicken wings plain, missus steak was a let down. The 2 mains for £12.50 is a bargain, I saw 2 having fish and chips looked massive.

The staff are always very nice, my food could have been a lot better, I had chickpea and spinach burger really not very good

We were disappointed they had no Thacker's Hase on tap or in bottles. Then asked for Old Moat again none stopped stocking it. All they could was Berry ciders, which is far too sweet.

Been to the Iford quite often. Generally the food has been great and good value. I like going there. But today I had the chicken gyros off their new menu. It was by far the worst meal I've ever had there. The chicken tasted more like bacon and was almost non existent anyway. There was minimal salad in the wrap. The wrap itself was hard, too thick and difficult to eat. The whole thing was stone cold. I did mention these issues at the time and was assured it was how it was supposed to be

You get so much food for the money it is a wonder they make any profit. Not gourmet quality, but much better than most standard pubs offer. Really would recommend

Will never visit this pub again, the pub carpark issues £60 fines, beware. Only stopped for one drink with a friend.

Fantastic service, even though they were very busy! The place itself was clean, and the atmosphere was great as everyone seemed to be having a great time. Food was absolutely beautiful and enjoyed by all 7 of us! We weren't rushed, we were constantly checked on, and the 45 min warning for food took us by surprise when it infact only took 25 minutes in the end.

Christmas lunch for the fourth time at the Ilford bridge. Our family has dwindled over the last year and from 6 to 3 this time. The price has risen quite a bit from last year and the quality has fallen also. The service from the staff was excellent but this didn't make up for the quality of the food. Sorry to say but we won't be doing Christmas here in 2024. The day to day service is great but not on this occasion.

Been here a few times now and is always a good visit but this trip was particularly great. It was very busy with it being Mother’s Day and we would told the food wait would be 40 mins. It came within 20 and was fresh & pipping hot. I went for the curry house platter and I must say the chicken was delicious. We took the kids on this occasion who both had an adults meal and inhaled it. They’re 9 & 11. Can’t wait to go back soon.

I live near to the Iford Pub and I going there since 2019, and last Thursday was one of the best or the best food I had, tasty well cooked, new menu is great, I dont know if there are a new chef, but the food is much better.

I went there last Tuesday with my best friend and his Ten Year Old son for pre football drinks and dinner we all had a great time and we were all so happy we will be back soon.

The Iford has really evolved into a gastro pub. Current manager and staff are efficient, organised and welcoming. Food has improved hugely and is consistently good value and tasty. We have been going to the Iford for over ten years and look forward to the next ten. Your discount offers are very gratefully received.

lovely staff, food lovely, the only thing i found was the place was very cold even toilets customers still wearing coats eating, we all have expensive heating bills.

Took far too long for just a starter . Not particularly clean. The chair I sat on had squashed food on .

It was Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club. Every first and third Saturday each month. Thoroughly recommended to those who have or are serving. Enjoy meeting up with like minded people and swapping dits. Food is always good, staff are friendly and look after us exceedingly well.

Iford Bridge is not a scratch on The Clay Pipe Inn. Although still part of the Sizzling chain the food at Iford Bridge is perfect. We were sat on a 2 seater table - fine. But why fo we need to be so regimented and shoved up against a wall? Maybe it’s the setting at Iford but the establishment is cold and dull.

Lewis and his team always make you feel welcome even the old boy grant cracks the occasional smile. Would highly recommend the loaded surf and turf I go for medium rare with the steak and always comes out spot on
