Lovely place for coffee and breakfast. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The soft play area is a bonus if you have young children (6 and under) and gives them something to do while you wait for food. I would recommend taking a visit.

Delicious and reasonably priced food. Very friendly staff members and a great atmosphere. The best part for us was the soft play area. It's small but it has everything that a very energetic 2 year old needs. There is a slide, semi transparent pipe, few mirrors and space to climb, roll, jump and run. We will definitely be back very soon.

Very warm welcome from the very friendly lady taking our orders. Had 2 classic breakfasts & I had black pud & mushrooms as extras, all very tasty & hot. I had an extra-hot vanilla mocha which was lovely, not many places get that right. The man who cooked was also very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I noticed that they were very friendly with ALL their customers & were on first name terms with most of them. Very enjoyable experience.

Children NOT allowed to eat unless impeccable manners?!? I brought a one and a four year old to eat and play in the soft play area. After the youngest ate a plate of chips, roughly ten or so pieces had fallen onto the ground, shortly after the owner came in and swiped up the chips in a hurry, and treathend to throw us out if we kept *making a mess*, there was no signs or bins in the area that indicated the establishment had a (clean any messes yourself) policy. I spoke to the co-owner about our confusion in regardsto the threat we had recieved, and were told *we are not slaves, as a mom myself, you must simply watch them when they eat.* we were watching him, but a one year old will spill when eating, that is unavoidable. The food was adequate, with the exception of a lack of patience when I had questions about the egg preparations, but no biggie. however, the biggest red flag is the owners of a soft-play cafe, acting like you have dishonored their place of work when children do childish things. The owners attitude was rude and dismissive right of the bat and I would NOT recomend going here (・_・💢)

Kids loved the soft play area, food was good, there was however one guy working there that made me feel a little uncomfortable, he was quite dissmissive and threatened to not being able to serve us anymore if my son dropped more bisquit crumbs on the floor. (It was not a lot) My son is two, Concidering its an area meant for kids to eat and play in, I dont understand why them making a litte mess on the floor comes as a big suprise.

Often go here with my wife and every time we have been we are always treated with a warm welcome and excellent service. The food has always been at a high standard regardless of how busy they are.

Wow. What an amazing place. From the minute I waddled in tired and cold from a stressful day I was made to feel welcome and at ease by the lovely friendly warm staff. It was like coming home to visit. The food was excellent and the service so outstanding. They even have a seperate play area for children. I can’t wait to go back there with my wee girl one day soon. Thank you so much for cheering me up and being so kind today and for the amazing food, I left feeling so much happier than I did walking in.

We popped in for a mid-afternoon snack. Service was great, a lovely lady behind the counter, friendly and welcoming. Two of us had apple pie, delicious, one of the best apple pies I have tasted. The coffee however, wasn't great. it couldn't really be called coffee to be honest, it was worst than an instant coffee. I would return just for the apple pie.

Im giving 1 star bacause of the terrible management and bad customer service . I heard the food was good so I went to try. Me and my husband got English breakfast. Food was ok but the atmosphere awful. The manager needs to learn how to treat customers and staff. Respect and bit of kindness goes long way! Absolutely not acceptable!

Worst cafe in Bournemouth ! I often go into cafe and as I was I the area I decided to go for a lunch there. My main issue is with the man at the till. He has an attitude, was rude and dismissive, I really wanted to walk out. Having my coffee I witnessed him being horrible to his staff. The atmosphere behind the counter, simply unacceptable. Was looking for somewhere to grab a quick all day breakfast, and found this place selling roast dinners on a weekday lunchtime. The standard of the food was truly excellent, beyond what one would expect in a little cafe. Seriously, it was one of the very best roast dinners ive ever had. Perfectly cooked vegetables, beautifully cooked lamb and a huge portion to boot. Cannot recommend the place more highly ,the chef is very talented. And the staff were friendly and very personable too. And happy to accomodate my fussy gluten free self. Excellent. Nothing fancy. But excellent.

Been eating here for a while good food good service and the owners and family always make us welcome.

Met a friend here today and was a little surprised that the ‘ soft play’ was £2.50 considering it was a cushioned slide area. Although the waitress nicely removed the charge for us (in my eyes should be free) we was told as we wasn’t eating they might need to take our table (two small ones put together) no idea how two adults with one almost teenager and a 18month old were meant to sit around a tiny two person table. The food didn’t look bad but I wouldn’t eat there myself. Mop in the hallway leading to the playroom and just dirty looking all round. safe to say I won’t be returning.

A proper cafe. Family run and worth the wait for the food, simple cafe food nothing over the top but everything cooked fresh to order. I had the double burger and chips and nothing but bite after bite of joy. Staff were polite and kind despite being rushed of their feet, and great to see a place where they know and love their regulars.

Absolute gem, the children's soft play out back is probably the only one in Boscombe, the vanilla lates are really good and the soft play and main drinking area are separate so you can relax in peace or enjoy a coffee and watch your kid play. Ideal place 👌

This is a beautiful family run establishment, my friend and her husband run this shop with the help of their beautiful and well mannered sons. I try to come here everytime I am I'm boscombe. They have a great food and drinks menu which is all fairly priced, and they are definitely one of the best family run coffee shops I have been to and I would highly recommend to anyone passing to come in and visit cappuccinos. You won't regret it.

This is the best Cafe in the whole of England. We came from out of town and were looking for a decent place to have breakfast. The is an area where families with kids can have lots of fun and play and eat in the dedicated soft play area. I got the feeling it is a family run business and everyone is friendly and excellent customer service. The food is excellent.

I have been here twice before in 2017 and August 2019, just before the outbreak of the Virus in March 2020. I had done some shopping with my Support Worker and i told her about Cappuccino's and she had been there too, by saying how nice it was in there. We sat down and Caroline, told us about the special menu, but i wanted the ordinary menu, which my Support Worker read to me. After hearing the choices, i decided to have Sausage, mash and peas with gravy. Caroline came over and my Support Worker, told her what i wanted and asked if they did a children's menu, as I'm not a big eater? Caroline said "yes and there was cabbage and carrots, as well, but i just wanted one sausage, mash, peas and gravy. I ordered a bottle or Sprite and when the meal arrived it had a little gravy on the mash potato, which tasted very delicious. Last time, i went to that cafe, i mentioned about the toilets and how it was suitable for disabled people in wheelchairs, mobility issues and the visually impaired. I would be going again, if i'm in the Boscombe area, as that is reasonable in price and my Favourite place in Boscombe to eat and drink. See you again Caroline and staff?

Very friendly staff and good prices. But rather standard and nothing special. The burger was okay but everything was very greasy. Now you'd expect this with this type of establishment but sadly the grease tasted stale to boot. There's no excuse for that. A shame as the premises themselves are welcoming as are the staff.

As travelling football fans, we stumbled across this cafe. Absolutely delicious, really friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and i love that it is a family run business. If we ever come back to bournemouth we would look for this place again!

It's a reasonably priced and cheerful cafe and best of all it has a pretty reasonable soft play area for kids. Charged at £2 per child and kids meals around £4 I've not had food from the menu but my kids are happy whenever we go

My wife andI reguarily drive down to Boscombe from Andover on a thurs to shop, eat and walk the prom if the weather is good. We had finished shopping and looking for somewhere to eat, found a table at the end of the market. The staff immediately came out with a menu. We ordered tea and Special House Burger. The service was quick and the young lady attending was very friendly. The burger started with a burger, topped with bacon, cheese, onions, tomatoes and mushroomsin a soft bun, asmall side salad with chips. Well it was delicious with a strong cup of tea. We will be returning again

Very friendly waitress, guy at the till was helpfull too. Clean toilet which is unusual this days. Fast service, we had only 20 minutes time and food was on the table. I recommend Cappuccino's as a genuine family run business in Boscome.

I love this place. Service is the friendliest you'll find, food and coffee is good and great value, and it's a wonderful place to take the kids on a wet or cool day as there is a little soft play. One of Boscombes best kept secrets.

I came to this café back in 2017, on a rainy Monday lunchtime and it was a lot different than today, as the toilets were upstairs which was hard for disabled people and people with babies. I arrived with my friend today and was desperate for the toilet, so a kind lady greeted us and helped me to the toilet, which I thought was upstairs like before, however, now they have got two toilets downstairs at the back of the café and one is for everyone and the other toilet is for Disabled people and parents with babies. I went into the toilet and it was laid out well with different colours on the wall and the floor was a different colour again, which is very good for visually Impaired people. I went back toward the table my friend had chosen for us and the owner Caroline asked what I would like after giving the menu to my friends to read as they didn't have a braille or large print menu, however, I knew what I wanted and the Baguette was lovely and just what I wanted with a bottle of diet coke and it was good on price. My friend had a chocolate milkshake which was out of a bottle and it looked okay to me and we then saw some other friends we both know and the owner knows them too since three of them go into her café regularly for a drink or a meal. it is a drink place with lighting around the sides and nice comfortable chairs at the white tables. I would go again with friends or on my own again if I am in Boscombe shopping or meeting up with friends.

Really nice place to go and eat. Usually come with the kids so I can eat n drink while they play in the soft play area. The menu is reasonably priced. They do a decent cup of tea. And the blond lady is so nice, friendly & welcoming. If anybody deserves an award for customer service it’s her. Definitely don’t mind spending my money on that gaff

Such a lovely place for lunch, staff are all so friendly and the food is delicious!! Have been eating here for years and now as a parent I take my son to the soft play area while I have a coffee, a great way to break up a day of shopping! After the market my wife and I needed break. We stopped here as it was no-frills and basic. We didn't want to go somewhere with dozens of varieties of drinks each with its' own anecdotal story set in some far-off country. We can get allegedly South American back stories from almost every eaterie in town. We needed to somewhere unpretentious. Great fresh sandwiches, a lovely welcome and we are coming back here soon as.

Nice and friendly place with an actual playground for kids on the first floor. Had a chicken that was roasted to oblivion ending up really dry, so I won't be having that again, but omelettes are great, prices are very low and staff very friendly so happy to visit again.

A nice Sunday Roast, more in keeping with school dinners so nothing special. The tables and general surroundings could do with a good deep clean. Children's play area upstairs. Didn't see it but could hear children playing. Judging by the kid's faces coming into the shop, they like to revisit.

4 friends and I came here for a light bit of brunch, however we were appalled at the service that we were greeted with. The staff overcharged us for the coffee and teas and were rude when we brought it up. All of the food came out at different times, with the toast coming out AFTER everything else. Does it take longer to make toast than a breakfast? They also brought us a lambs liver by mistake. The food was not even worth all of this hassle, and we were shocked at how rubbery and disgusting the meat was. Stay away from Cappucinos! Its one of the worst places you’ll probably go.

Visited for coffee and snack. Place was almost empty (soon found out why) yet rather noisy. Seems to be a meeting place for single mums with their babies, all shouting to be heard over one-another. Serving staff were very friendly, but slow and inefficient. Had three goes at making coffee. Failed. Failed. Failed badly. Served 2x toasted sausage sandwich. Both much too greasy, with poor quality sausage that left a funny taste in our mouths. Couldn't wait to have a breath mint when I left just to get rid of it. Would rate 0/5, but 1 is lowest rating possible on this website, which is certainly as much as this cafe deserves. Such a shame as welcoming attitude of staff whilst good is the best feature of this cafe. Note to self: Always beware of establishments where the model is pay before you eat. Once they have your money, there is no incentive to provide a good catering experience.

My partner and I visited this establishment for coffee and toasted sandwiches. I had to send my first filter coffee back as it was so strong that it tasted like rocket fuel. The second coffee arrived after a wait of about 15 minutes, looking very milky and anaemic and was only lukewarm. Then when my toasted sausage sandwich arrived, it was literally dripping with grease. My partner's sandwich was equally as vile. The noise from the comings and goings to / from the 'soft play' area, and the mothers yelling at one another to be heard, made the atmosphere more like a rowdy kindetgarten, and we ended up just leaving and going elsewhere. What an awful experience!

Good selection of food. Mostly Traditional English fare. Reasonable quality. Popular with locals lots of people come for a drink and a snack as well as full meals. Popular children's area upstairs judging by the noises coming downstairs, not too loud though. Toilets upstairs not disabled friendly. Everywhere clean. Cheerful friendly staff especially with their regulars. They rushed to help a wheelchair user through the door.
