Friendly staff, good beer, lovely dogs (Albert and Pixie). Great vegetarian food, would give 4.5 out of 5 if I could. We love it

We had a wonderful stay. Exactly what we wanted, friendly, welcoming and quiet. We enjoyed the garden and surroundings. A welcome relaxed 2 night stay.

Solía ir aquí a beber Taunton Traditional a principios de los 90. ¡Zumo de hombre lobo! Era un viejo pub en ese entonces, y todavía lo es ahora. Llevó a mi pareja e hijos (no 1 hijo 21 cumpleaños en la calle) en una cerveza rápida antes de ir por la carretera para algo para comer. ¡Les encantó! No ha cambiado mucho. El personal del bar era encantador, y el ambiente era exuberante. Volveré de nuevo cuando llegue Bristol.

Excellent fish and chips we have been coming here for years now and it never disappoints. We always sit in, but you can get take away fish and chips to from around the side. Staff are lovely and friendly and very helpful. There is customer toilets upstairs to. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Nice atmosphere and good food. This restaurant attracts people from all walks of society which is refreshing.

We had booked a table weeks in advance and people who were in front of us who hadn't booked was given a decent table . Where as we were seated at a table that was central point where everyone was walking around and draughty. We expressed our disappointment and where told there were no other tables yet there was and I again expressed our unhappiness where we sat and asked to move to a vacant table that was a bit more secluded. Waited ages for our salads which were vertually thrown in front of us by a young guy . Terrible service food medioca. Won't be going back.

We had a group of 30 booked for a birthday celebration and the Bath Brew House team did an excellent job of looking after us! They took note of who was eating what making the service so much easier, the food was absolutely delicious and great portion sizes with extra gravy and sauces for the tables, and the payments at the end were seamless as everyone was paying themselves. The garden in the sun was bloody lovely aswell! Highly recommend for a group get together!

Called in on spec in the middle of the afternoon. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Delicious fish and chips, would definitely return if in the area.

Celebrated a birthday here , excellent Sunday lunch , and good choice . Fixed priced menu very good value , very attentive service .

Decidimos probar su almuerzo del domingo, pero como era una decisión de última hora no habíamos reservado una mesa. Desde que aparecimos bang el mediodía, pudieron encontrarnos una mesa, pero le aconsejaría reservar para que no se decepcione. La carne asada y el pollo que pedimos era excelente. Había una generosa cantidad de patatas asadas crujientes, además de chirivías asadas y zanahorias glaseadas con algo delicioso, repollo y queso coliflor. El pudín Yorkshire era masivo y un excelente acompañamiento. Si fuera a ser exigente, diría que las zanahorias estaban bastante mal cocidas, además de que el remoulade de apio y la salsa podrían haber tenido más sabor. Me encantaría comer aquí de nuevo, pero ten en cuenta que es un pub que acepta perros, así que no es una sorpresa para su visita.
