Excellent service, welcoming staff and coffee made very quick (possibly the fastest of any Costa I've been to!). Only thing I would say is, would be great if the owner(s) could fix the wifi as its been virtually unusable for some time now.

But disappointed today. 2 people serving and my son’s drink was just left on the counter I had to ask if it was mine. Disappointed

Usual Costa experience. Food ok but it was only a tea cake. Service just someone making coffee. Atmosphere people drinking coffee.

Only open for 2 hours, arrived too early, so couldn't go in and try. Looed nice from outside.

Good old Costa, you more or less know what you're going to get. This one is often handy for me, usually has a good range of food, and they're usually efficient at serving up the coffee. High ceiling in this unit makes it feel airy and spacious.

The barista on shift was brilliant and knew how to make a decent latte !

I hate this place because the outdoor eating area is infested with rats. I was sitting there today and I watched a rat emerge from the adjacent hedge and go around eating crumbs and food from the floor.

God but when it's busy you can't hear people anyone talk

Not sure if it's just me then, but whenever I go in there, I get the feeling we're being a burden on them. Few Ps & Qs and literally no smiles. Maybe it's me 🤣

Great coffee and friendly service

We thought we would stop for a cup of tea before driving home.I was sat facing the counter and watched one of your female assistants,I was taken aback on her lack of understanding on food safety hygiene.This young lady kept touching her face,her nose,even her ears before pushing her hair back from her face.This would have been bad enough if she did it once but it was continuous she did not wash her hands in the time I was there.You need to stand back and observe your staff train them correctly before you get a visit from the trading standards officer.

Having spent £10 for two hot drinks and two toasted tea cakes, I can not believe how mean the staff are when I asked for an extra tiny slab of butter. 10p if I wanted it. Not the money, just principle of it. Get your act together Costa, please

The Cappachino was watery and not frothy as it was made too quickly and tasted of hot watery milk! Disappointing!

Asked the young lady to change our drinks because they didn't taste very nice, With me using my good manners please and Thank you which always should be used by anyone ,Bad communication from the young lady behind the counter ,our drinks was done again, but she never said i am sorry or any eye contact whatsoever if you can't communicate with customers you shouldn't be in that job, It seemed it was all too much trouble because she had to do the drinks again, She was too busy wanting to chat with her 2 work colleagues,We do nip in for a Costa now and again but won't be coming in anymore!!!

Always a friendly face and beautiful manners

They have just put the cappuccino up to £3.70 1st March 2024. That's very overpriced compared to surrounding coffee shops. Nearly 40/50p more per drink. They will get my business instead from now on.

This branch of Costa was appalling. The table was dirty with stains and hairs on it. Each cup and saucer was chipped. The whole shop wanted a good clean and the staff needed cheering up.

I always have a fantastic experience when coming here, the staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

Friendly counter service. Very busy and more staff needed. Sat in with coffee. One large table for six covered with laptop, note books, pen, blue paper roll, all unattended. Another table had cleaning fluid bottle and cloth left on it. Mop and bucket left by another table. Broom and dustpan left at end of counter. Not pleasant to sit around with cleaning not finished. Sat and observed while drinking my coffee for more than 25 mins. Staff need more training. Given that my usual coffee has increased by 15p today Costa can afford to adequately train and provide enough staff to give good service.

Nice coffee shop. Good atmosphere and well located in town

The coffee was excellent, the only drawback was the unwashed wet table. They also have a good selection of desserts. Prices a little higher.

Very cold in the cafe, we had to put our coats on. Most of the tables were blocked off and it's only 4pm. My drink was tasteless and very watery. Maybe watering milk and flavours down to save money. No plates were given with cakes either. Won't use this Costa again

Late opening. Was stood out side and the bloke with the bold head was just stood inside on his phone.

Unfortunately today I had a soya mocha that was not up to standard and my partner had an peach iced tea which was not exactly iced .. more like the temperature of cold water from a tap. The shop was so busy that it felt difficult to say anything, I ended up just forcing myself to drink it instead of wasting it.

It's a amazing place with good service

My friends and I went into costa coffee to buy a drink and to use the bathroom. Us 3 girls went only to bath room together as that’s what girls do… we hear a really aggressive bang and a lady shouting at the door accusing us of doing drugs and saying we had to pay you use the loo when we where. On our way to after the loo. Her name was Lauren she need to really learn customer service and have some respect for people and they her tone is. Sort it out and have some staff train pit in place.

The drinks don’t have much flavour and taste watery. I don’t recommend stopping in here as it is not worth the money, I could’ve made a cheap coffee at home that tasted better than this

Great customer service, I would happily ret

Staff gave the impression that they didn't care and everything was to much trouble. The chicken and bacon sandwich was only 1/3 filled. As a regular user I feel that Costa is not what it used to be. Which is a shame as I am now looking else where for my 11 o'clock coffee fix. Shame.

Nice coffee and some decent cakes too

Nice, clean, open place, friendly baristas, clean tables and not busy. Coffee and cakes were lovely. Only one whinge - a baristas walked past us and sneezed into her hands and I didn't see her then wash her hands. As there is still antibac pumps at the door here, I would expect better hygiene. Otherwise, nice Costa.

Disappointed it wasn't up to it,s usual standard,

Very friendly and efficient staff. The store was clean and tidy. Toilets available, one is has disabled access and a baby changing unit. Seating inside and outside. A good range of products on sale. Nice tall ceilings and large windows make it feel big and bright.

Tea and toast perfect place very noisy. Acoustics not good.

Costa Coffee is the same in all the branches, to be honest

My complaint is about the two girls that work at Costa Coffee Launceston Retail Park. They are very RUDE! One with Straight blonde hair with glasses and one is short with dark brown hair. I ordered 2 x lattes and I requested a takeaway cup, but they served my latte on a glass cup, well, I said it's ok we will just drink there. Then when I was putting sugar on my coffee I saw an eyelash on top of the bubbles of my coffee! So I went and said, hi, there's a hair on my coffee, can you please make a new one... No sorry for them being slack with their job and instead they made my coffee with attitude! Very Rude! If you hate your job, leave and do not spread your negativity to your customers!

The staff are rude. I asked them about a product and got ignored by two girls. One just stood behind the desk texting on her phone. When you spend nesrly £10 on two coffees you don't expect to be ignored when asking a question. They definitely heard me as one of the girls looked at me but said nothing. Clearly need todo a course on customer skills. Really disappointing.

3rd time now need to learn how to make a latte , awful make better ones at home .

Good place to stop along the journey back from Cornwall. Plenty of other shops in the industrial estate as well. Good coffee, plenty of choice. We sat outside and shared a toasted bacon and macaroni cheese sandwich which we both agreed was delicious! Service was friendly and quick.

Tidy, clean, bit slow in service

Was told by a local friend they had staffing issues previously. Looked to be enough staff there today, however, the lady on the till seemed very incompetent...

Clean neat and tidy. Staff good humoured. Someone constantly sanitising. Coffee good.

The staff here were lovely and friendly that’s why I gave two in the rating however the place was dirty all the tables had dirty used trays on and even when one was cleared no one cleaned it I had to ask if I could wipe the table down but staff then cleaned it The toilets were filthy there was toilet roll on the floor, the toilet stank, there was no toilet roll in the holder the floor was filthy, I then saw staff go in so to be fair in this review I went back to check and some of the loo paper had been picked up but there was still bits everywhere! Nothing else had been cleaned. I feel in these virus times this was pretty awful I certainly would not risk it again!

Only 3 stars I’m afraid as the toilets were not as clean as I would have expected. Coffee however was good.

Charlie the manager needs a lot more training her staff management skills are zero they all resent her as she blames them for anything that goes wrong instead of taking the responsibility on herself And she told 1 member of staff to continue working even though she had a positive pcr test absolutely disgusting Covid is real !!!

Big brand chain offering your stereotypical coffee, cake and re-heated 'food' stuff. Expect inconsistent service without a smile or much efficiency.

Long wait to be served. Whilst Covid restrictions were in place customers were entering the shop with no masks on, even though they had one in their hands. Staff asked if they had done track and trace, but did not question them not wearing a mask.

It was quiet, staff was very nice and polite

So I paid a visit to Costa coffee in Launceston on the business park . Normally I don't have a problem but today was particularly bad . Now baring in mind I had a stroke back at the end of 2020 my speech isn't great but I'm getting there so the young lady who took my order couldn't hear me very well because of my face mask but instead of asking me to repeat it she decided to make a comment under her breath to her colleague behind her noticed by myself and my daughter .so we finally got the order correct and came to payment I scanned my Costa card app and wanted to use the points but was not given the chance was not even asked . I normally don't like leaving bad reviews but today has caught me on a bad day . Maybe it's the hot weather that has affected their customer service skills

I use this Costa drive thru more than I really should and have had nothing but good experiences with it.

Waited at the counter to be served two members of staff busy making a drink, and food for no one. Kept waiting. Waited a bit longer not one of the staff even acknowledged we were there... So went greggs, good servace there!

Lovely quiet place to visit, food, staff and quality of products are very good, would recommend a stop off here.

We use this costa 3 times a week as we pick up school children from around the corner. The staff are amazing, super friendly, remember regular customers orders which makes us feel valued. Coffee is good but the cakes are amazing.

Too long queue. Miserable staff charged young couple full price despite it being a half price day in August as they’d asked for takeaway cups!! They did sit in with stinks and snacks😒 Covid 19.. screens and presumably head office policies in place ... I’m not sure it’s acceptable to fill a builders own cup then carry on serving the rest of us !!! Even McDonald’s won’t fill your own cup at moment

Excellent 👌 as per normal Costa Coffee. Clean and good service. Directions were well laid out.

A flat white wasn't really a flat white, the cup was huge and very milky and frothy rather than smooth, quite disappointing. But the staff were doing well given the current situation which is why I gave it 3 stars

Great place to hang out with friends. Kind and polite staff.

Expensive. Dirty Tables. Next to nothing in the toasted sandwiches. 2 x Cappuccino and 2 x Nearly empty toasties - the tiniest piece of ham and remnants of a sliver of cheese lost in the toasting process all for nearly 12 quid ! I went across the road to LIDL bought a super filled sandwich and a cup of Cappuccino for less than 2,50 pounds. How can Costa legally rip off customers like this ? They won't catch me again !

A pleasant atmosphere, if you ignore the scraping of chairs on the floor and clatter of the staff area door keep being left to swing shut by itself, friendly staff, good products for the prices

Always good to stop for a Costa coffee, and I just love the cakes.

Food and drinks always good friendly and very helpful plus you can get nice drinks from teas coffees two hot chocolates to anything you fancy really these days

Rude!! Rolling eyes when I added to our order!

I visit Costa a lot, my favourite coffee shop. Costa has recently introduced filter coffee to their menu. Brilliant idea as it is more affordable and still tastes good. Disappointed with this particular Costa as their filter coffee is never available for some reason

Fantastic seasonal hot chocolate

Popped in with my daughter, clean and tidy, friendly helpful staff, lovely coffee as always, only thing let it down was being by the door, it was a cold day and every time the door opened (which was alot) it blew in so ruined the ambience. recommend sitting nearer the back if possible.

I love Costa! There is always a parking space here and a light and airy shop.

One of the better Costa shops, good service, lovely coffee and pleasent surroundings. Tried the flat white for once, prefer this now to the latte.

I drink black coffee which we had as take away so weak and tasteless really disappointed 🙁couldn’t complain as we were a few miles away, service was still good.
