Lived in Newquay for 2 years, first time here to watch the SA vs NZ rugby, lovely pizza and burger, plenty of screens, great staff, will definitely be back

Amazing view over Towan beach, many tables outside and a lot of space inside too, with tv, music, pool table, etc. Service was nice and friendly and burger and chips were amazing! Nice place for a quick lunch or to have a few drinks :)

Food was really good quality, fries were well seasoned and the burger was very tasty. Views are great prices very reasonable. Definitely recommend and will be coming back.

It's a bit of a hidden gem in my eyes , the staff are very friendly, and the service it top notch. We stopped here a few times now, and the food has always been great, asking with the breathtaking views. Whenever we go to Newquay, we will make our way here

Been here twice now and haven’t been disappointed Will be back again Staff are lovely , atmosphere is great right by the beach , you can sit out the front , inside or out the back looking over the beach. Food is out of this world and even the drinks are impressive . Highly highly recommended!

It’s no where near what it was in the past! Positive’s- great view. But better views some place else. Negatives- Rip off prices, unless you get locals rates!( remember this, the pub will say you can apply. Nope!! You try!!) save the happy hour nonsense, not working. Food- awful go any place else, a burger and a beer is cheaper at the 5* Headland Hotel… Staff- no can do attitude/half baked/lazy types. For the trip visitor it’s a total waste of money, go in find out see for yourself. Toilet’s filthy, whole place needs a deep clean. Needs a total refresh, top to bottom. Management/staff. Only a slightly viable business because of its situation. A blind man could run a more efficient business. Think twice and then think again before subjecting yourself to the food/beer prices. Awful chewy burgers cold fries… The clown show.

We had food as a family which the food was lovely then out of nowhere the women security guard asked to search my partner as she presumed he had drugs on him which is absolutely ridiculous to which he agreed in front of other family’s absolutely unacceptable and to be honest really embarrassing considering we haven’t done anything wrong! considering we just paid a 80 meal! I am in awe I have never had this service in my life! Disgusting behaviour we will never be hanging over our hard earned JOB wage to them again!

We found this place on our first trip to Newquay many moons ago and have been going back every single year as our go to lunch stop on our annual Cornish holiday. The food is always amazing and the burgers are the best you'll find for miles around 😋 Can't thank the staff enough as they are always so happy and polite lovely people and nothing is a problem to these guys. Always make me and the kids feel literally at home which it has become over the years. Just wouldn't go anywhere else now. Also has the best views of the beach

Food took over an hour so I went to the bar to ask for an update. The man behind the bar was apologetic and said that I would be entitled to a refund as well as having my food arrive in 15 minutes or so. He said to ask for a manager and explain and they’d process it. When I returned to the bar with my phone to process the refund, another member of staff spoke to me but disagreed with what the previous member of staff had said. She asked me several rhetorical questions in a rude/impatient tone, asking why would they do that? Saying it makes no sense etc. To the point where I had to ask her to stop, as I was just repeating what I had been told. Honestly sooo rude lol, and misdirected anger at a customer rather than their colleague, even when I pointed out the colleague who had advised me this. Embarrassing

After 45 minutes I had to ask where our food was. 2 minutes later it was at our table and was cold. No apology, no service, and no-one asked if our food was ok. The men's toilet was also filthy and stank. Really not impressed.

Great central bar with lovely views over beach by harbour. Friendly service - able to book on line for outside table too. Great food burgers were amazing and my daughter adored the vegan quesadillas

Belushi’s in a word? Recommend. The food served at this place is very nice but also very filling, I like how you can choose different variant of spice for the wings, if you can handle proper spicy wings, you can order them but if you’re like me and you prefer nice easy-going barbecue wings, then you can have that too. The service was very friendly and welcoming too, I never once felt that I was inconveniencing the staff, which is an experience I’ve sadly felt at someplaces in Newquay. But the overall atmosphere in there is very nice as well because it overlooks the beach.

Amazing views, amazing service and amazing food. We come here whenever we're down in Newquay! We decided to stop off for a pint (more than plenty to choose from) and a little snack which we shared.

The staff were so polite, couldn't be more helpful. The manager tried to accomodate our food intolerances. The only limitation here is there is not much for dairy intolerance. But the Morning Glory Burger was amazing. Cocktails awesome. And the staff honnestly couldn't have been a better representation to the bar.

Well must say away with the family had a meal each food well cooked and presented staff on their game very polite helpful . Well recommend this for food drink etc

I recently had the misfortune of visiting Belushi's Newquay, lured by their advertised 2-for-1 pizza deal from Monday to Friday. Imagine my disappointment when, upon ordering, I was informed that this promotion has not been available all summer. Considering it is nearly August, this is nothing short of false advertising and blatant deception. Such misleading promotions are unacceptable, and the lack of communication regarding the discontinuation of the deal reflects poorly on the establishment's management. It's not difficult to update promotional materials, yet Belushi's has failed in this basic aspect, demonstrating a complete disregard for their customers. Overall, my experience at Belushi's Newquay was thoroughly disappointing. I would advise others to avoid this establishment until they can rectify their misleading practices and improve their customer service standards. Don't fall for their false promises – there are far better places to dine in Newquay.

First time here and definitely the last unfortunately. Only good thing is the view. Food took an hour before being served, came Luke warm. Asked for a bowl of water for my dog as it was very hot, never got it. Not once asked if we enjoyed our meal. Very disappointing experience.

Foods banging, Morreti was on point (ended up having a few), atmospheres decent, staff are friendly and helpful. What more could you want. Worth another visit.

Stopped here for food, unfortunately they had no pizza🙄 lovely view onto beaches outside on porch. 2 for 1 cocktails at happy HR. If they had food we wanted, would have stayed longer. Daughter likes pizza.

I made the mistake of ordering a Pina Colada with three friends. Big mistake! The concoction arrived in a glass and it was blue and did not even taste like Pina Colada. Took the three drinks back to the bar to complain and asked for a refund and was advised that it's a ready made mix they use. The manager came out and the drinks were poured away with no refund. Definitely don't come here for anything other than beer as that's about all they can manage. We didn't even get a refund or offered another drink. What sort of crap service is this. I can remember when this place used to be good. I wouldn't mind but we came here for a friends birthday and Definitely won't be staying around to order food or anymore drinks if they are this bad.

Had a great time at Belushi's after a poor experience last year. Great food, service, and atmosphere. Happy hour 4pm to 8pm had great food & drink offers, and then a free quiz night! Brilliant fun, excellent host with a great atmosphere, competition and really good fun all for free. The staff are really welcoming and the views are amazing. We love this place.

Been coming to Newquay for years and last year Belushis was quite poor. This year what a difference food was great, service was fab and the atmosphere was brilliant. They had a quiz night on the Wednesday with a great host it was such a good atmosphere. I enjoyed a few cocktails and pizza which was delicious. They had a happy hour 4 till 8 with loads of brilliant offers. Absolutely fab night.

Had a great stag weekend there and was well looked after by all the staff . The accommodation was good but was not there to sit in our room . The stag package was amazing along with the peer pong and the food was delicious and washed down with a box of beers . The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times . Close to loads of other bars and restaurants all within 10 mins walking distance. Defo recommend here for other groups boys or girls .

Great pub/restaurant tucked away in the heart of Newquay. Outdoor seating has a great view of Towan Bay. Food is good, pizza and bugers with some finger food sides.

The aesthetics of this resturant is lovely, really cool. We love the bands. It also has a cool sea view where you can see surfers. Disappointed by the food. The food was slow and luke warm. I ordered the bottomless wings as it's an offer for Wednesdays... you get an hour and a half which seems great but you will only get about 3 servings because of the speed of getting them out. My mum required a vegetarian meal and the options were limited. She had to order a kids meal and asked to have it the size of an adult meal... they said no. The toilets weren't massively clean and a bit bizarre.

Great restaurant with easy accommodation upstairs for travellers. Solid view and friendly staff I accidently left some documents in my hostel room and they were nice enough to courier it to my place far away from newquay immediately after reaching them!! Special shout out to Josh for all his help!! Will definitely be back Cheers

Huge selection of beers on tap - and an unexpected treat of a number of craft beers in cans and bottles in the fridge from various breweries around the country. Spacious inside and a great terrace overlooking the sea for the days when the sun is shining.

Booked in for food last night, table was ready for us when we arrived with a great view looking out over the sea. Food was fairly quick to come out and lovely when it did. Had live music playing but was a nice volume and relaxed music going on so as not to disturb your meal. The staff were lovely and friendly all around, they did forget a chicken fillet in one of our burgers but brought a fresh one out without fuss and within a minute of us letting them know about that. Reasonably priced and would definitely visit again.

We ate a burger at Belushi's on a Tuesday when there is 50% off food. The food was very nice and it's a good place to hang out.

Unusual bar only sat and drank coffee but pleasant atmosphere.

Great location. We went as a couple out of season. Not the friendliest bar staff. They seemed put out when asked to make cocktails on 241 offer. Kitchen closed early and bar closed early.

Family all had burgers and I ordered a pizza. My food came out ages after everyone else’s and the pizza was barely cooked. Being starving, I ate a few slices and left the rest. Turns out the dough was raw and I had terrible food poisoning. I have tried to contact them a few times about this with no response. Terrible service.

Food is awesome, has an interesting twist in flavours and good quality. I'm working my way through the menu and it's all been delicious - burgers, nachos, pizza and platter type 'fast food'. Also has vegan versions of everything! The staff are super friendly and this combined with the vibe and music has made this my favourite bar in Newquay by a long way. It has a diner feel to it without it feeling too foody, so it's also great just for drinking beers or a coffee while you work on the laptop. Kids, groups and people both young and old are welcomed here and there's great views of the sea at the back. 🤙

What a great place to visit . Tucked up on the cliff with a superb view in the warm . Josh the bar man was very friendly and informative on the local visit to rattler cider brewer . Richard the chef cooked us up a superb pizza and enhanced our chicken wings with the most delicious hot spicy sauce . Get down there , you are all missing out. Newquay is the best pizza a wing lunch ever …

Nothing exceptional in terms of meals. Friendly service. No atmosphere when we went there.

We had been to, and enjoyed this bar, on previous visits over the years - but have never been as disappointed as the 2 visits we paid last week. Service was slow - and on asking for wine we were told, having already selected a red & white from their menu, they were not ‘doing wine at the moment - as we have no wine glasses’… no apology, just looked at us like asking for a glass of wine in a pub is a strange thing. Such a shame, as this place is beautifully located, and we’ve had fabulous service in the past.

We’ve been here a few times when on holiday , but recently visited with 25 of us for a pre wedding meal. We rang a few hours before & the staff sorted a section for us all, food was quick & food was lovely, hot. Service was fantastic . Quiz night was great fun! Thank you for fitting us in and making it a great time

Visited here lots of times and it’s usually great and really good value for money. Unfortunately during this visit (x2 couples), we ordered x2 portions of Nacho’s to share (priced at £10.45 per portion). They were terrible. Cheese sauce (not even real cheese), they were freezing cold and the portions were tiny and tasteless… Considering we spent over £20 on two portions of Nacho’s… this was a really poor effort from Belushi’s. I suspect there was no qualified chef on duty and a member of the bar staff had knocked these portions of Nacho’s up. If a qualified Chef served these, they need to ask themselves some serious questions because this was terrible. Views of the coastline are great… Just give the Nacho’s a miss… Unless you like fake cheese and Nacho’s that taste like cardboard… Absolutely ripped off during this visit…

The original idea of this establishment was backpackers. Reasonable prices. Good service/ decent food. It had a genuine vibe that’s now long gone…. I payed almost £30 for a cold burger and chicken wings can of hard seltzer. The burger was gristle and tiny, nothing like the pictures on this site!! Chicken almost evaporated ( microwaved??) Any member cards are dished out to locals and people staying there, three years on the trot I’ve asked for one, never any available. It’s by far the biggest con in Newquay, everyone mentions it. Most prices here exceed the five star headland hotel a few yards away. £30 for a substandard burger and the staff cannot even be bothered to ask if you would like condiments/ not so much as salt and pepper??!!!!! Use the app it will slaughter you on a service charge ( no option to remove!!!) then the app will ask for a tip!!! Who wouldn’t feel let down and ripped off by this offering??? Even the tables and seats outside are sticky. It used to be so good in here for a long time, when it was sold it’s massively changed. Maybe there is a few offers on a happy hour, but 90% of the time it’s unhappy hour for the customer!! I see people walk in check the prices and leave. Unless you get locals rates ( which should stop in Newquay) I won’t be fooled into paying for meals or drinks here ever again. The quietest pub I encountered on a Saturday. Not surprised!!!

Great place to stay, good place to meet different people.

We have been here before and always had to book a table in advance. As we enjoyed it we thought we would go again. We walked past Belushi's twice and noticed that it was empty so didn't bother to book the next night. We sat in a booth and could have picked any one as they were all empty at 8:00pm. I said to my wife that I thought something was wrong because of the lack of people. I ordered two drinks with the app before ordering the food and they didn't arrive after 30 minutes, so I went to the empty bar and the barman said "oh we've been really busy, do you want me to pour them now" I took them back to the table and ordered two burgers. 45 minutes passed and no food, so I returned to the bar to be told they would be about another 10 minutes. The burgers arrived luke warm, my wife took a bite and said it seems gritty. We took the lettuce out and it had grains of sand all over it. Chips were nice though. As she doesn't like me to make a fuss we got up and left laving most of the drinks and burger. That was the last time we and all our family and friends will eat there again.

One of my favourite places to visit in Newquay, having had so many great experiences over the years. Sadly this time it was a disappointment, the prices have crept up a fair amount; even happy hour is more than expected, out pricing itself against many other local businesses. Some of the feel has been lost, and the service was a disappointment... hopefully it's just a glitch and the staff were having a bad day, following a busy summer. I'll try again next time, I'm rooting for them to get back what I felt they'd lost this time round.

The views are amazing, but definitely seemed to be more of a place to have a drink rather than eat. Very pricey for very underwhelming food. Had to send the nacho's back due to crisps being stale.. burger was average and fries ok. Overall disappointing experience.

Stayed at the Hostel above and ate here a couple of times, the food is delicious and they were very accommodating to my mom with gluten allergies. The staff was awesome

Great stop off for a drink between high Street and harbour, only tried food once, 3 stars only based off lack of stock affecting availability of the food on the menu, the food itself was very tasty.

Such a lovely atmosphere and all the staff were so helpful even though it was busy and the live music was on. Really good vegan options in all areas of the menu from the sides to burgers. We’ve been here every time we’ve been to Newquay and are excited to every time - thank you x

Wish we'd have read the reviews before going here for drinks....then we wouldn't have bothered. But here's another one to add to the rest. After being taken aback by a £14.40 charge for a pint of draught cider and a Captain Morgan rum and mixer we asked if they wouldn't mind checking to make sure there hadn't been a mistake. Nope. A single Captain Morgan measure is an eye watering £7.00! No prices clearly visible for customers at the bar and we were told by the staff that they often get complaints about prices however the owners usual response when these complaints are passed up the chain is 'these are the prices and that's that'. Says it all! I sincerely hope this helps prevent others wandering in to get brazenly ripped off. We fully expect inflated prices given the location but having the p**s taken is completely different! Please avoid and go to literally any other establishment that won't have your pants down.

Stayed in the backpackers hostel. With 6 beds in the dorm it was cramped but for the price it was worth it. In error I paid twice but Meg efficiently sorted things out for me 😄👍

Went here in May and thought the food was awful it was cold and pretty much tasteless. We thought we would try it again on our visit in August to give them the benefit of doubt but to our dismay it was awful again, the bourbon burger was tasteless very poor indeed. Cajun chicken burger was ok but nothing to write home about and what happened to the Belushi’s stamp. Been coming here for years and the food has been amazing so much so you had to book a table but this year don’t know what’s happened it seems to be lifeless not as busy as it used to be.Belushi’s better book their ideas up or they’ll be the next place to close. Belushi’s are also known for their cocktails as well asked for a sugar mama to be told sorry we have not got the ingredients for that so got a pina colada instead ended up with a green pina colada have no idea what it was, the meal and drinks came to £40.

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND STAFF! Staff are incredibly rude, and make jokes about you when they think you aren't looking.

Food was good. Service was slow but the staff were great. I think the kitchen must have been busy which is always a good sign. We’ll be sure to return when we visit Newquay again

Didn’t have half of the menu available. Disappointed with missing food and drink options. Ended up getting food poisoning. But the quiz night quiz was good.

Menu was OK but there was lots not available, service was slow and food was average at best.

Visited again to have some cocktails. Sad that they didn't have anyone who could make up the cocktails, unlike our previous visit. Could only have cocktails that had previously been made up so decided against it. Maybe next time.

"Famous burgers" Don't be fooled. It's chicken chunks, a slice of plastic cheese, "smoky streaky bacon" where? The bacon resembles a slug. The worst £13.45 I've ever spent. Wont be coming back. You'd be better off gettin a scruffy chicken burger from central grill. Cutlerys still got choccy cake on from the last customer aswell 🥴 Yeah its the height of summer, but it doesnt take a genius to understand what a burger is.

Good tunes and views out back but would not recommend coming here for food, it’s absolutely shocking and well overpriced for the quality. Food here varies between either being slop or well over cooked, avoid.

Forgot our order. 35 minutes for a coke and a 7up, only delivered to our table after pointing out to a waitress how long we’d been waiting. Also told at that point our burgers were almost ready - these arrived after a further 20 minutes. 55 minutes to make 2 burgers. Then we realise they have got our order wrong. Table next to us arrived 5 or so minutes after we placed our order, and had finished their meal and left before ours arrived. Place was less than half full. No care for customers shown. £40 paid, realistically maximum we would have paid elsewhere for that level of quality is £25. Fries are skinny oven chips, burgers overdone. Interior very dated, fake leather seats all ripped/torn - lacking maintenance all round makes for a disappointing atmosphere. Mandated tip for staff - would you pay extra for the service we received? Will not be back.

I’ve paid and ordered different burgers and in the end they didn’t have it , so we had end with an spice burgers as we don’t know the name as I hate spice foods.

I really likes Belushis in Newquay. But the place is all over the place. Constantly seem to be out of food. Tables are messy and sticky. We keep going back, for the view, largely.

Asked for the first drink in the photo, as you can see in the second photo it looks like the last drink. I took it back the bar to be told it was the drink in the first photo false advertisement then. The drink was not very nice but wasn’t about to waist £10 Pizza was ok would not visit again or recommend unfortunately.

I had two negative experiences. Both the occasions the orders were placed online. In the first occasion order got places despite their kitchen being closed, I and my friend were already expecting the food to be delivered. The waiter came to our table after 20 odd minutes to inform that the kitchen is closed and that the refund will be issued within a few days. In the second occasion, I placed my order for lunch. After more than 30 minutes I noticed that the folks who occupied tables much later than I did got their food served. The items were similar to my order. There seemed to be a clear discrimination in the way they queue their orders. This was my primary observation.

Banging playlist in the evening on a Saturday. Drink prices are average/over average but not horrific. Nice outdoor area out the front with heaters. Can't rate food as didn't have.
