Nice place to visit for a coffee.

Went for coffee and lunch for our 6th time. Enjoyed immensely. Staff so friendly, coffee and food always lovely. Would thoroughly recommend this branch, it's very clean, comfortable with very helpful, friendly staff.

Ordered an iced smoothie and they had run out of ice. A girl went to get a fresh box of ice and took a while doing that, then came back out and started chatting to a customer for about 10 minutes (whilst holding the box of ice) instead of doing her job. When I received my drink after waiting about 25 minutes there was no apology and the girl on the till didn’t seem to care. I’m one of the college students and I kept making the mistake of coming here, when it’s not the best.

Waited 25 min for 2 drinks. 1 was being prepared after waiting for 15 min and then I advise I was waiting on another drink which was met with confusion by the staff. The one staff member went to the back to call another staff member who had no interest in helping out his colleagues what so ever. The staff member taking orders was just staring into space not helping the others make drinks .etc. I was told they were all under training. Where was their supervision to help them out? I received the 2nd drink which was nothing like the picture on the board, or what I received in a different costa. I understand everyone goes through training but no one was around to help them or guide them!

Incredibly busy all morning. Cheerful staff never flagged. I was parked there for three hours waiting for a car service and it was very pleasant, apart from the whiff of bleach from the toilets. Actually there weren't enough toilets for the crowd.

6 members of staff-slow service & absolutely no communication between them. I took my tray of coffee to table as food was still warming. Told female where I was sitting, she shouts my order & leaves it on the counter -hopeless!

10am....toilets are utterly disgusting, with the sanitary bin overflowing and the whole area obviously not cleaned/checked in a good while. Coffee was wrong, which wasn't noticed until after I drove away. The general overall attitude and demeanour of the staff was one of disinterest. If there are 4 people stood doing naff all chatting around the coffee machine, while the others are working, then surely they can clean the bloody toilets and wipe the tables down.

Staff very friendly helpful and welcoming. All staff were working very well despite being under great pressure Coffee was good. Very disappointed in bap containing egg,mushroom and spinach. Grossly overpriced. I had some egg, 3 little slivers of a button mushroom and 1and a half spinach leaves. Total rip off at £4 40 40

Dirty shocking Costa... gusts having to clear tables to sit down. I voted with my feet.... sat in my car and had a bottle of water.

Nothing wrong with the Costa but the parking outside it is managed by a company over eager to fine you for staying too long. It means, if you've been shopping at the other stores in this location, you probably don't have time for a coffee without being stung for £100. I certainly won't risk it again.

Popular coffee shop, I always enjoy the products and visiting usually after a visit to the local retail centre in which it is sited , plus it's popular with hospital visitors and students from the college who use the free wifi

Toilet absolutely disgusting!! Hasn’t been cleaned for a very long time! Ordered an americano but defiantly didn’t receive one.

Very, very busy, no clean tables, and staff busy and seemed inexperienced. We ended up with a sandwich on our tray (and subsequently table) which wasn't ours, and it was taken and given directly to another customer!!!! Toilets not terribly clean and a long wait as there was only 2.

Decent coffee, though the staff there are not well-versed in making genuinely good coffee. Also, it is extremely expensive, RM 22 (AUD 7.50) for a cappuccino. I have been to many Costa Coffee branches around the globe and this is one of the most expensive in the world. Even in Australia with much higher salaries the same coffee would cost AUD 5 tops. Just for perspective: a local Malaysian having to pay that much for a coffee, is the equivalent to someone paying AUD 22 for a coffee in Australia.

Not the cleanest place. Burnt drinks (too hot to drink for a good few minutes). One plus - the staff are nice and polite. We did pop back up to ask for some cold milk, but they only put in a tiny top up leaving it still far too hot to enjoy.

What a friendly place! Lauren in particular is very nice and upbeat.

I had to clear a table so we could sit somewhere. It took 10 + minutes to serve 6 people in the queue ahead of us. Hot chocolate came with 'squirty' cream even though we asked for no cream. Hot chocolate was bitter, not very chocolatey.

Useless staff. Left standing waiting for coffee while staff severed other customers. Staff became defensive when pointed out I hadn't had my coffee, food was cold and needed to be reheated. Very poor customer service Costa really need to better.

We went in after a baby scan at Treliske hospital. My partner ordered a Blueberry Bubble Frappe. £5 later we were given our drink and left. Once outside my partner tasted the drink and said there weren't any bubbles in it (this was the main reason she ordered it). We went back inside and said we didn't think it had any of the blueberry bubbles in it to which the lady behind the counter said 'oh, no we don't do those any more'. We left somewhat bemused wondering why the drink is still on the large poster behind the counter, why we weren't told that when we ordered or why we weren't offered a discount or our money back.

Staff professional and polite. Drinks served in timely manner and hot. Very clean. Suitable music being played, at an appropriate volume which created relaxing atmosphere.

My wife and I visited the Costa Coffee at Treliske Truro at approx 3pm on Friday 27th. I was immediately startled by a very loud 'Hiya Mate' by the guy behind the counter. Strange but OK. However I then saw the guy making the coffee. Under his aprion he was wearing a cut away vest with his arms, shoulders and arm pits clearly visible as was most of his back. He was also covered in tattoos. Not H&S I feel and I have reported it to Costa. We will no be going there again. Dave

Walked in and the smell of rotting flesh instantly hit my nostrils. I was served by a chap called Will who had obviously never heard of a toothbrush let alone seen one and that was the culprit for the stench in the place. A smile only a mother could love. Awful

Went to costa treliske business Park today and could not believe how dirty the place was and the toilets were disgusting. This should not be happening with the virus at the moment. Management need to get on top of this and sort the staff out!!! We are regular costa customers but won't be returning here.

ordered an ice tea, and pay by card (sadly unchecked) found to have been charged for a peice of cake never ordered, try to ring the branch to complain totally unrecognised number given on website and receipt will have to revisit to get a refund out of my way as well but don't like being had over!

Busy yes, but very dirty as well. Staff not at all welcoming and everything seemed like to much trouble. Got to my table which was full of dirty cups and saucers. Not s problem as such as they were busy. I started to clear when a member of staff just came over held her arm out for the trays and walked off, no word of thanks or apology. Shame really as manners cost nothing

The place is decent size and in an ideal location. As it is right by the college I wouldn’t recommend visiting lunchtimes , the queue is out the door ! To be honest the staff are saints, it gets so busy and the drinks are Always good and the staff stay so calm. Covid measures are definitely being put in place however it is crowded. Also it’s one of the only costas I know that still do the biscoff cheesecake :)

This Costa's proximity to the hospital and the shops puts it in a great location, however I have been disappointed the few times I've been there over the last year or so. The staff are always polite and friendly but the service is extremely slow compared to other Costa coffee shops, and the drinks are often barely lukewarm.

Visited on 19th July 2021, (freedom day). My wife and I visited and there was no queue and was served quickly. Customer service was good. The drinks were up to their usual standard. But the staff were all wearing chin or throat masks. I realise that it was no longer compulsory to wear one, and I do not know what company policy dictates for the staff. But to my mind you either wear it properly or you put it in your pocket or a draw. My wife and I have chosen to continue wearing ours and i understand the individuals right to not wear it. But to wear it around the chin or throat when wandering around the shop clearing tables seems ridiculous. Tables were nice and clean though.

Terrible treatment as was asked to sit by the toilet and when i refused and asked to sit elsewhere she became very aggressive and shouted out loud tgat i could jot have another table - victoria who sadly is the manager! has many behavioural problems and no respect for customers - dangerous - i asked for a refund and went to starbucks instead where i did gave a quite nice drink and lunch

This Costa is well situated on a shopping complex and near the hospital.There is plenty of parking , so a good place for a get together

functional, can be very busy with queues at lunch and 4pm with students. Accessible, with good toilet, but tight spaces for wheelchair though doors are easy. Basic, with usual range. But my favourite latte

Had no idea that I'd receive a parking fine for £100 for being a customer here for more than 2 hours. Someone I meet up with here also received the same fine, so that's £200 between us. There is apparently signs in the car park, but it was dark and we didn't notice them. The Costa staff didn't mention the 2 hour limit either. It would have been helpful if this Costa had a sign at the entrance to warn customers.

My husband and myself are regulars at bromborough wirral Costa.this morning there was only 2 colleagues on shift and I was very busy.we would like to commend this man and lady for how they coped.through no fault of their own.they were left to sink or swim.and swim they did.well done

Helpful staffs, diversified menu and quite delicious pastry. I witness an auditor observing the staffs work. Therefore, the service was above par and up to customers satisfaction.

Disappointing,and not very warm.It did not have the wow at all,the chocolate brownie was so small,compared to other costa places I have been too.

Horrible tasting coffee, do not use Costa but fancied a drink when in Tesco,s it was like mud with a very bitter taste.Parking requires buying something and then registering your car, found that some of the machines did not work. All too much trouble.Tesco in Truro is a place to miss its also expensive . Try Sainsbury's or Aldi.

Dropped in for a drink as had been in Argos. Excellent staff. Very clean. Customer service was good and was served promtly unlike the one in pool near Camborne. Which was terrible.

Today I’m 123 Allerton Rd liverpool had excellent service and noticed they were selling off sandwiches &cakes etc cheaper as sell by date was up ... I asked what happened to the food if not sold .. apparently it’s collected at the end of the day in bulk by management ... but is not taken to food bank or food kitchens its just thrown away... why? jacqui

Burning some time before going to a hospital appointment this morning we visited here just for a quick coffee it was very busy but staff were doing their up most to keep up the pace all were polite

if you want a cafe where you are spoken to as though you were apiece of dirt you also want a cold cheese and ham toastie also cold tea from a dirty table i found nothing to praise this place about

Visited costa in the shopping centre in Camberley with my mother. I have been a few times before, and today was the last time. Service is so slow and the place is really grubby. The floor looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks and you can’t find a clean chair or table. The work station is filthy and even the cups and glasses looks dirty. I asked to have our table wiped and when he came over to clean it, we were told that he only had two hands and couldn’t be everywhere at same time. Never again.

2 takeaway coffees and a half hour wait! Very busy and staff seem flustered or untrained 2 managers on the shop floor and neither asking if customers are okay or why the delays were so long ...

Queues can be long because it is well used by the students of the near-by college. Good standard of coffee and snacks. Very hard working staff manage to smile even when the place is packed.

Called in for a tea at Chorley cafe. Firstly there was a big que with only one member of staff on duty.

Very bust and staff weren't handling it too well. We ordered one latte and two toasted sandwiches. The sandwiches arrived hot but because they took so long to make the latte they were cold and we had to ask for them to be reheated (which they grumpily did). Also there was no one cleaning away trays so it was quite dirty. If you are going to visit this costa do NOT go at peak times (4-6pm, 8-10am)

Not been here on a Saturday for a long time and it was a wet and windy day so a coffee and cake was what was needed . What impressed me most was the manager busy clearing tables and restocking mopping the wet floor like everyone else . A sense of follow my lead and we will get through today together. A family feel at the weekends over the business times that I am often here . Great team work

God you could die waiting in line here. A busy place but with one person doing the coffee. Get yourself sorted.

typical Costas ... quick service but could do with a little DIY on some of the fittings ... one of the doors had been kicked in by staff opening it and it loked like it had happened a long time ago. Toilets were not as clean as they could be - they WERE busy but it did seem like a while since they had had a DEEP clean.

Visited store on busy bank holiday Monday and, as well as enjoying the coffee and cakes, was struck by the highly efficient way that the store was being managed.

Rude staff, was ignored for 5 minutes before I was even acknowledged! Three members of staff (including the manager) all laughing and joking facing away from the counter which really is awful. When I was eventually served the girl with the blonde hair was miserable as sin and slit certainly wasn't service with a smile! Will not be returning to Costa coffee at all.

After day at the beach we pasted by and stopped for a coffee it was like and other Costa but the staff where polite and helpful and the coffee was hot

Normally use Costa coffee when having a break as you know exactly what you are getting wherever you are. Service good and staff friendly, coffee always good

I was in your shop by the blackpool pleasure beach , waiting on staff were polite and cheerful , then we heard a racket coming from counter and it appeared to be the manageress shouting at top of her voice at the staff and throwing things down on the counter i think if there was a problem she should of spoke to them out of ear shop of costumers , i felt sorry and embarrassed for the staff . I will stick to the one in town centre from now on .

I visited the costa coffee in “Next home store” this week in Meadow Hall Sheffield, the two lovely ladies, Jennifer Wood and Natalie Owen working on the day where so kind to me-I needed help with something and they did not hesitate to support and help-I enjoyed my lunch and the view from this costa is stunning! Please visit and you won’t be disappointed!! Thanks to the two lovely kind ladies who made my visit one to remember! Fantastic customer service the coffee and lunch was also delicious!!

Staff were friendly when served but it was filthy!!! This pile of dirt was just on the floor while staff walked past it over and over.

I visit this Costa several times a week, the staff are all really friendly and work as quickly as they can to get you what you want. The restaurant is clean and the tables are cleaned as often as they can. The coffee is always good :)

Four staff behind the counter but only one actually serving... coffee and toasted sandwich but why should you have to wait to get served when staff are just idling their time??

Costa coffees are always consistent and good, however individual cafes and staff are not! The staff here were happy throwing wet cloths at each other with customers at the counter, wrapped in worlds of their own, laughing and joking openly whilst serving, Matthew and Sarah clearly have a thing going, but hey I was here for coffee not matchmaking. I love a happy workplace, happy staff, not that false paint a grin on and bare it, but I learnt more about their private lives than I care about. Then to sit down faced with this mess on the floor, when there are few customers needing barista attention, happy to mess around amongst themselves than clear up, quite disgusting really. So I was here 30 minutes so not as if it was going to be removed! If it can be this filthy I wonder how clean everything else is, and there are customers moving used crockery from vacated tables so they sit with theirs. I will not be returning to this branch!

I visited this place for Brunch, I queued for a while as the staff were firstly rude and failed to notice I was still in the queue. I had to make them aware that I was in the queue once they’d served the customers before me. The food was not of the standard you’d expect from this chain of cafes. The visit to the bathroom would not be recommended at all. It was disgusting. Hadn’t been cleaned for over a month by the look. Whenever I’m in Truro I avoid this place.

After meeting my family for lunch, unfortunately my toddler had ‘an accident’. The staff were very helpful and quickly / discreetly dealt with the matter. Really appreciated their calm approach and (as always) the coffee & rosaries were amazing!

I always go to this cafe because they always have discounts and i love collecting points on my loyalty card so i can get free items.

i found out about this cafe by seeing a leaflet which i read and i thought i would try it out. it was a great experience as i had a coupon which allowed me to save money aswell as i tried my first cup of...

Always call in Costa coffee units when I want a coffee, always sure of good quality. Have always been provided with coffee exactly as requested, served be polite and friendly staff.

Consistently good at this Costa with friendly staff food and drink freshly prepared a good choice while wife does retail therapy in shops.

From the minute we walked into the shop the staff were very helpful as I'm disabled they brought everything to the table and that included sugar helped me out when I was unsteady when I got up to leave.

Paramos aquí como estaba de visita el Padre en el hospital. La cola era increíble, y sentarse, como de madres con niños. Me tome de todos modos, así que no era un gran problema, pero la comida era tirado en el suelo por los niños, significa que se habría de rodadura en ello antes de sentarse. No es agradable, y no hay necesidad de ello. Es un café, no un patio de recreo. Café como siempre fue como esperábamos, y nos sentamos en la llovizna. . A los residuos. Un poco de tiempo. No es culpa del personal, es una víctima de su propio éxito.

Costa coffee really do need someone to train them in the art of coffee making . I had an Americano. ..no crema and tasted like dish water, which is not what you would expect from a double shot . I was hoping it's be 3rd time lucky today ...needless to say I was disappointed.

i use this place a lot and have never been disappointed. they have great staff who know how to make a good coffee. can be busy at lunch time with the college over the road though.

Ideal spot for a coffee shop. Very useful when visiting the many stores on the complex. Always busy so not relaxing but the service and coffee is great. Recommend it for a quick coffee.

Called in for coffee and a bacon and egg roll for breakfast whilst waiting for car service next door.Coffee was excellent as always but I'm afraid the bacon and egg roll was not. Soggy rather than crispy and not that hot. In saying that i will return for coffee but shan't eat there again.

This is a great and convenient place to meet friends in Truro without going into the city.It is a typical Costa Coffee and does what it says on the tin.

I've had the occasion to frequent this charming little oasis usually after one of my many excursions to Treliske Hospital. Today however was no more than a brief hiatus from a somewhat arduous shopping expedition. The hazelnut latte was just the tonic I needed.
