Great pub, lovely food and staff - recommended. Great location by the beach. Sunday roast was the best I've had in a while. Wish this was my local!

Dog friendly with bowls & water station for your pooches. Perfect location on Padstow harbour front. Great selection of beers & wine. Log burner. Variety of seating, lounge, sofas, high stools/sears good views. There is a lower section of dinning tables & chairs, still all dog friendly too. Great atmosphere & friendly staff. Lovely clean toilets.

Amazing Sunday roast. We booked for a family reunion between Christmas and new year and the Sunday roast was amazing. Exceptional service from staff as our booking was for 20 people. The staff were lovely and they did everything possible to make our lunch special. The food outstanding, lamb beef and pork all great .. large portion size and massive Yorkshires. Thank you to the team that served us.

LADY WHO SERVED ME WAS ATTENTIVE AN FRIENDLY BUT FROM THERE IT WAS DOWN HILL, ORDER RUMP STEAK WHICH WAS BADLY BUTCHERD AND GRISTLY , ALSO MUSHY PEAS WAS MASHED FROZEN GARDEN PEAS, 😳 ALL IN ALL END OF SEASON DISAPPOINTMENT

Regular visitors when in Cornwall. Rattler is available on draught and this time we tried the food. We both had the pie of the day, which was chicken and ham and they were served with buttered vegetables. After a bit of a wait, the food was fantastic and we'd definitely come again.

We visited Painswick for the day and dropped in the Falcon for a late lunch and were very impressed. Food and service were great.

Oh how are the mighty fallen. I used to like going to Pret. It may have just been for the sandwiches - which for all I know are still passable - but today's excursion provided watery coffee, a jam pastry because there was no jam to go with a croissant - but if you have a croissant the answer to "what do you want, jam on it?" is "yes, please." I'm sure I've had a pleasant time in Pret in Kingston upon Thames, and maybe here also, but now is not it. There are perhaps too many coffee places and the likes of Pret, presumably relying on the good old workplace sandwich trade, are looking increasingly demoded, and without the essential charm to keep them popular. Pas pret du tout.

Only went there for a social drink, polite staff nice real ale didn't have food but looked nice, nice old pub.....

Watched an act there. Had some food and was decent enough, good value for the money. Atmosphere was very.good, the act defo helped that!

Friendly staff, not an easy robe

We chose to stay local to here as we had been driving all day. Called in for food and the service was so fast, we ordered on the app and within 5 minutes our drinks were with us. Poretti is a great lager and glad they have chosen to have it as an option. I was on the becks blue, they have plenty of choice for those that don’t drink or doing dry January. Food wasn’t long and unfortunately as my partner was hungry I couldn’t get a picture of his but he had the sticky Korean fried bowl and it smelt fab and he finished it all. I chose the scampi peas and chips, good old classic that tasted good. Atmosphere was good and the ladies toilets weren’t upstairs !! The men’s were however. Only down side I have was tables weren’t clean although empty so staff could do with being a little faster on cleanup and the carpet needed a good hoover but it was a Friday evening.
