The restaurant has to be the slowest in the IKEA chain globally. The wait time is slow slow, it was 15 minutes from the time you got to the first set of food/drink cabinets - in fact it’s so slow that there wasn’t even a person at the register because they didn’t need to whilst people waited for the sloths behind the baymaries to serve the food, one meatball at a time. If you’re happy standing in a queue for 40+ minutes, then this is right up your alley. Service is so slow, I thought I saw Gordon Ramsey and his crew filming kitchen nightmares!

Delivery was an absolute nightmare, would give 0 stars if it was an option. They rescheduled 3 times, that’s 3 days I had to either take days off work or ask relatives to wait around in my apartment the whole day. When it finally did come a month late, they went to the wrong address and were late even that day. In addition, when my 60 year old mother-in-law met them at the lobby to escort the drivers up to the apartment for the “in-home delivery” IKEA guarantees, they left the king size mattress with her in the lobby insisting she could handle it, even after she told them it was too heavy for her. Absolutely pathetic and sickening experience, will not be conducting business with IKEA Stoughton under any future circumstances and I encourage you to spare yourself the headache

Customer service at the return area is the best employees at Ikea. Floor staff is very rude, lacks knowledge, and you can't find them anywhere when you need them. Prices are expensive for the cheap products that you are buying.

I brought my Grandkids with me today, to IKEA to purchase some kitchen ware and I paid for it with cash and then we walked over to the food court to order on the screen hotdogs, ice cream, drinks and Ikea's famous cinnamon buns only to find out that IKEA food court doesn't accept Cash and so, we left Ikea and drove over to Costco and brought from their food court pizza, hotdogs, drinks and their famous ice crean sundaes and paid for it with Cash.

They had me waiting in 90 degrees heat for 30 minutes.very unprofessional delivery service rude and lazy. I’m done with this Swedish company.

I bought a loft bed which was delivered to my home. The instructions that came with it skipped a few steps so it took me over 6 hours to assemble the bed because I had to take it apart 2x. Some of the rails were pretty scratched up and one of them was bent. The stuff is very cheap and not at all worth what I paid for it.

Ordered closet system on June 6th. Three separate delivery windows missed. Three phone calls to customer service on hold for 30 or more minutes. July 9th order cancelled by IKEA without explanation. July 12th still waiting for refund. Huge company poor customer service! No more IKEA for us!

Currently they are doing major renovations, which are supposed to be completed by the end of July 2024. But because of the construction, lots of good sales.

Store is a bit of a mess and hard to navigate due to construction but staff was helpful.

If you have a small area in your home that needs a cabinet or shelves or even furniture, IKEA just might have what you are looking for with very reasonable prices. Furniture, linens, kid items, and even a spot to sit and have a nice lunch for a reasonable price.

Came to look at shelves and bought over $200 of other stuff instead. Its super confusing but hopefully will be easier to navigate after the remodel. .... currently, the Store is a 1 way maze, & i accidently grabbed the floor model chair cushion so didn't get to buy it? Lol... ok.... I got lost several times and had 2 other people even ask me how to exit the store. I hated the store but the stuff I got I like

Their delivery companies are unreliable and inconsistent. They can't find an address in the middle of Boston. Got us stuck at home waiting for them for two weekends in a row... we paid for fast delivery and still waiting for our furniture to be delivered two weeks later. Will ask for a refund

I have no issues with Ikea products, but the store layout and management really can use some improvement. I understand the store is going through renovations and parts of the store were closed off, but I ran into quite a number of issues: - Couldn't find 13" white Drona bins even though it says in-stock. There was nobody in the Home Organization section to help find them. Associates in the cashier area only sent us back to go look for them ourselves. - Couldn't find the Pyssla beads even though it also says in-stock. Asked multiple associates who could not tell me where they were. When we found a display one, we were told we couldn't buy it, period. - When looking at their sleeper sofa, there were no instructions telling customers to order it there. We ended up getting sent back from the checkout cashier. Just to order the sofa from somebody there.

Pretty good ikea store! Huge selection, friendly staff, lots of parking, convenient location. A few small nitpicks which are holding me back from giving 5 stars: -> the menu in the cafeteria has an image of the meatball plate showing 12 meatballs. But when I ordered the meal it only came with 8 meatballs :( -> the store was under construction when I visited, so most of the upper showroom level has limited selection

Terrible experience at IKEA. We have spent a lot of money here on furniture, we bought a couch and bought the wrong color cover. We’ve waited about 3 months for the color we wanted to be in stock, we messaged with chat online, set up alerts, everything. Finally we get the heads up it’s back and we place a pickup order (it was too small for delivery). I drive an hour out to pick it up during my pickup window, wait 20 minutes for them to go back and get it, and they come back to tell me it’s out of stock and the best they can do is store credit. I asked if there was anyway for me to get the product I paid for and the answer was no. What a terrible way to do business. I guess you really can’t place online order with them because it doesn’t guarantee you get what you pay for and spend time to go get.

This a cool place to spend the day looking and buying stuff that you might or might not need at all!! Get yourself some meatballs, ice cream and a pack of coffee rolls!

Great store and easy to get lost in the aisles, but following the arrows on the floor got me to checkout eventually and with a full cart! Unfortunately there was only one cashier checking out customers and lines had formed on both the service and self-service. It could bave been because the store was about time for closing and people were exiting the store (more of a reason to have more checkout lines) Overall a pleasant experience

Checkouts chronically understaffed - there is never anyone to check you out at the pantry past the checkouts. They stopped selling Daim candy and are often out of things like gravy for the meatballs. Prices have also gone way up.

Ikea's kind of crazy in the best of times. The store is very organized, and has to be because of the flood of humanity that washes up at its doors. The addition of self-service check out served to make it easier to finish the visit. The foods area has been trimmed down; do they even have a cashier now? I think it's just self serve kiosks, with huge touch screens. On our May 2024 visit, there was some major refurbishing going on.

Plenty of parking spots to choose from, and it was a great ikea experience. There were a few areas that were undergoing renovations, but all of the showrooms and items were still available to view. The meatballs were great as always! I highly recommend using the ikea app in conjunction with grabbing your furniture boxes, just in case you realize that what you were attempting to buy won’t fit in your car. The app has all of the boxes dimensions so you can plan ahead to see what will/won’t fit before you get your hopes up. The loading area was a life saver so we didn’t have to push our cart through the parking garage, and it seemed like most people used those spots for its intended use.

I had such hard time putting together the closet I bought they left it by the door I live in the 3 apt the delivers putted by the door of the building I had to take to my apartment it was so heavy they have no helper to put the peace’s of the closet together it such bad experience

I love this store but it’s a little much. It’s crazy big and you need to find the clear path out. Thankfully they have an awesome cafeteria to chill in just when you hit the breaking point. After lunch, yes, more shopping. Be sure to check out the live plants before the checkouts. I’d not noticed them before. I bought one and she is killing it! Healthiest plant in my house and I have quite a few. I wish I’d bought more. Guess I’ll be going back. They have a great selection of plant pots too! The 5 I got are already gone. Don’t forget to get Swedish meatballs and loganberry jam to go. I brought a cold bag. Skip the mashed potatoes, you can do better, faster. They were out of gravy again. I made a recipe from the internet that said it was the same; it was just meh. I bought some Pioneer sausage gravy to try next. Seems like a weird combo but there’s pork in the meatballs and they make excellent gravy.

First visit to IKEA. Great Swedish Meat Balls at cafeteria. IKEA is a huge store & has a large, clean parking garage & EV units are available. Love the variety of reasonably priced household items. The major negative for me is you have to go through entire store to exit. What an annoying maze w/ so many doors marked employees only

Tucked away in the back of a long road with other businesses, this Ikea is very large. It has plenty of parking under a garage like structure and is easy to navigate. The store itself is very clean and welcoming. I always enjoy seeing the items set up and assembled. The food court is also very good offering a wide variety of foods for a furniture store. Ikea is definitely iconic.

Need more people at the registers! The showroom is being renovated. Missed out on a lot of room decor, office furniture. Was looking forward to more choices not less! Out of stock on items and we Punched in our zip code for delivery options and they don’t deliver to us

I recently visited Ikea in Stoughton and had an extremely unpleasant encounter with one of their salespeople “Laurie”. Despite being a potential customer, I was met with rudeness, disrespect, and humiliation. Such behavior is unacceptable in any professional setting which makes me feel unwelcome and as if she’s firing me. I hope the management takes appropriate action to ensure that other customers do not have to endure similar treatment.Worst service ever. I never met such a rude and impolite person like her . Laurie the lady that she works in the closet section which is supposed to be friendly and help people to find their need . I told her pls my due date is soon i need to do a closet for the nursery i was very respectful and patient however she kept humiliating me and engaged in a mocking behavior.

This Ikea is by far the worst I have ever been to. They cancelled 95% of my delivery without informing me. When I called to ask what happened, they just told me to go back to the Ikea store so they can reschedule it. Also, they were out of stock on something and they told me they were just going to refund my order. This is after the fact that I had called about the item 2 days after they said they would deliver it. After going through the hassle of calling them and getting clarification, the delivery team had no explanation for their delay. If they had said "we are running behind but we will get to you as soon as possible" or something along those lines then it would have been fine. Instead they said "your order is delayed we will not be able to deliver it today". When we asked Ikea to reimburse us for this inconvenience, they said they would give me a $60 gift card and waive the delivery fee. They must think their customers can not read because delivery was free since we spent well over the amount for free delivery. For anyone in the area, it would be best to not go to this Ikea. Get furnishing from a store that will have better customer service.

Recently bought King Size Malm Bed Frame with Storage. It was delivered today. When we opened the box we noticed IKEA sent us USED PRODUCT. I guess IKEA has some dignity and work ethic issues.

Stopped in to grab some odds and ends for my apartment. On the way out grabbed a large selection of food that never disappoints. Full meal for a fraction of a price anywhere else

A bit of a mess when it comes to find what you want. Web and kiosk showed plenty of sotck, but it wasn't on its allocated spot, and nowhere to be found........ Shame I wasted 1h to get there and 1 back to go home empty-handed.

The item we want is out of stock at our local IKEA, however it is in stock in other IKEAs in other states. But somehow, IKEA will, not let you buy it. Customer support says we have to "Wait" for it to come back in stock locally. Seriously who makes these decisions? Why would you prevent people from buying from you? Amazon and Wayfair gladly and always take my money!! Sheesh!

If you're on a budget, it's great. But there is so many people and the place is way too big.

When you tell me my pick up window is 9-10am, your store should 1) be open at 9 and 2) my product should be ready. Neither are true in this time window. Just tell me my pick up is at 10 if that’s when you open and are planning to have my item ready.

I gave IKEA a 5 star. The store or warehouse has everything and the kitchen sink. You can go in and remodel your whole house before leaving the store only issue is they have maps for directions to help you find what you need but let me just say no matter how you read that dag on map you still getting lost. Just plan a day of shopping there and if you have kids and they are walking you're in for something bad. Anyway, it's a great place ohh...and you can also have lunch in the Cafe area with seating food is reasonable. Have fun. By for now

What's not to love! Needed garden supplies - they were pretty good, except I would have loved more clay pots. The vegetarian food options in the restaurant/cafe were great.

I had 2 positive experiences on the same day. If anyone knows how busy IKEA is then they'll appreciate it that 2 service representatives were so helpful. Mike, manager of the closet area had honored a previous agreement that I could buy the floor model drawers for the Elvarli shelving units based on IKEA discontinuing the product. He personally disassembled the 6 drawers and I was able to purchase at half price. I didn't expect them to disassemble so promptly so that was nice. In addition, I needed 3 more 31 inch length clothing bars that were out of stock and Mike alerted me that they were back in stock as well as he told me that the side rails were equally back in stock. When I went downstairs to retrieve the clothing bars, there weren't any, so I assumed it was a mistake. Another employer who was also named, Mike (coincidence), observed me looking for something in aisle 28. He came over to help and explained that the product was in stock but probably back in the receiving area. He was super nice and stated that he'd go look for it but it would take at least 10- 15 minutes and that he'd leave on the counter for me. I told him I would purchase all the components I had and pack in the car then return to retrieve the 3 clothing bars. I returned 20 minutes later and he placed them on the customer service counter with my name on it. I went looking for him to thank him personally. I didn't expect him to find them nor go out of his way to write a note that they were for customer, Penny.

I like Ikea, but trying to find a parking spot on a Saturday is exhausting. When I did finally get to shop, it was hard to maneuver through the store with the crowd of people. I also would like to know who's idea it was to make the shopping carts feel like you're doing Tokyo drift from Fast and Furious. The wheels turn at an angle and are not good for anyone who has bad knees or back. Other than those issues, the prices are good if the merchandise is in stock.

online ordering is ridiculous. Items are always oversold. As a customer, you are supposed to feel grateful as they will of course give you money back when items got canceled the day before delivery after a few weeks of waiting. What about my time, IKEA?

The best solutions for small spaces anywhere and the prices are terrific. Sometimes they are out of inventory but you can request to be notified via email when the item comes in, then you can order it online and pick up in store or have shipped. Very orderly and streamlined returns and exchange processes.

I recently had the greatest experience an associate by the name of Freud I believe he said his name was so very helpful in loading my vehicle,I didn't have to ask he was at the right place at the right moment,usually don't write reviews but he refused me tipping him so I had to give my thankfulness and gratitude another way.I greatly appreciate a friendly spirit and warm smile any day this definitely makes for a better shopping experience.

Watch out for a tricky returns policy. Having a receipt and unused object are not good enough if it does not have the bar code.

A simple return took FOREVER. 20 Min in a short line. It's a good place for shop for things you probably don't need but like and buy anyway. It's hard to get out of there.

0 star for online shopping experience. Acceptable in store shopping for family time after redesigning the parking lot. IKEA has been going downhill. Lack of communication, training of the staff and flexibility. The agents with online chat do not know what they are talking about, giving misinformation all over the place. The agent over the phone is a hit or miss, the information one took half and hour not finding, the other one figure it out in 10 minutes. They do not allow you to schedule the delivery within 2 weeks of the order date, and they only start packing your order the day before the delivery. None of your items will be reserved. They will send the remaining items without considering if the customer still want to keep it or not. Now you have to bring the items back since they are no longer needed. The time spent on the poorly executed order will keep me away from IKEA for quite sometime.

I queued for 10 minutes happily but when I got to the front of the queue I asked the server if the new Plant Dogs were vegan. She said she didn’t know and I would have to log into the computer to find the ingredients list. There was a massive queue behind me and I couldn’t believe she couldn’t answer my very simple question. I asked if any of her colleagues knew the answer and was told no, I’d have to log in to find out info about allergies. I explained that I don’t have an allergy, I merely want to know if the Plant Dog, as the name would strongly suggest, is vegan. She just stared at me until another colleague intervened, tapped the product into the computer and said ‘See, yes it’s vegan’. I told them both that ‘Welk now you know so if you’re asked again you’ll know what to say’. The colleague replied’ Well no, you must always check as sometimes the ingredients get changed and it might not be vegan anymore’! Seriously Ikea? You name a product ‘plant’ something, just like your ‘plant balls’ which I have never questioned since the first time I ordered them, and the customer can’t be sure they will always be vegan?

I always love IKEA! Food is good and stuff is fun. It was a bit hard finding parking on a Sunday, but nevertheless it worked out at the end.

Where else can you go for high quality furniture on the cheap, touring the store there's so many ideas being thrown at you.

A huge warehouse sized store filled with every type of furniture that occurs in your house or office. If you have storage/furniture/decorative needs this is a great place to get ideas because the floor is set up in a maze bordered by dozens of rooms all perfectly appointed. Ideas for large and small rooms from small to medium budgets. If you have the funds and need to special order solid oak built-ins maybe look elsewhere but for the rest of us this is a great place to pick up the odd bit or furniture to organize your home. We did eat and the restaurant/cafe on the second floor and the line was quick despite being full and all the staff were wearing hair/beard nets. The food was hot and tasty with a decent variety. The tables were cleaned frequently and the whole store and eating area is family friendly.

Needs to be more exits for elderly folks. Got very tired and felt trapped with no easy way out!!

Im not a normal shopper but i love this place. Ive been up there 3 times now. First time was to order my fitted wardrobes and was helped by a brilliant shop assistant called evona. Been again since then and tried there lunch menu great price and great quality. By the way my fitted wardrobes were only a third of what i was quoted by a local company. Would recommend to everyone. Well done ikea.

Their prices are amazing! I actually organized my entire pantry using 9 "Sockerbits" for $3.99 each for a total of $35.91!! If I had gone to The Container Store one container for about the same size (15"L x 9"W x 6"H) was over 4 times that price, and Amazon was only slightly cheaper then the Container Store. (I used a package of English muffins and a 15 oz can of pumpkin to help visualize the size.) Oftentimes, the lids are an additional price, but with IKEA the lids were INCLUDED. I also appreciated how the lids snapped on to the containers, as well as how easy it is to unsnap the lids while maintaining a solid seal. Some of the other stores' containers are difficult, forcing you to really pull at their lids - sometimes breaking a nail 😔. I am so glad that I shopped around because if I had stayed with The Container Store, the same pantry organization would have cost me between $200 and $300 and it would not have looked as nice. IKEA saved me a ton of money and the quality surpasses the other store options. The only downside is trying to leave IKEA. It can feel like a frustrating corn maze. 🫨. Just keep heading for the lighting department, then through the plants and you will be well on your way to the cashiers. That store layout used to be the only thing keeping me from shopping there more often, until I learned how to exit quickly. Without knowing how to exit can be an anxiety-inducing experience especially if you have time constraints or an emergency. So that is the ONLY reason why I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise, I would have given it a six! 😉💕 I have a very tiny pantry, and IKEA has been a Godsend! Ooooh, the feeling of utter peace walking in there now So if you ever have considered reorganizing your pantry but were dissuaded due to the price of containers, think again because it CAN be done on a budget!

My daughter and I went to IKEA to buy a mattress for her new apartment. We bought the wrong one because it was super confusing and the bed was clearly not labeled that it was a queen and not a full. We tried to return it a few days later unopened and they would only give us a store credit. Buyer beware. They love to take your money!

This review is specifically for Naomi who works in the Kitchen Department. First, I booked the wrong style of appointment for the small project I was working on, but she assisted anyways. She provided a lot of insight into how to order anything from IKEA (which is not found on their website). She made a $350 cabinet sale in comparison to the thousands $$ people usually spend, but I felt heard and helped by her. Excellent customer service, would make me want to buy anything from IKEA.

Waiting for my couch to be delivered for more than a month, and they keep messing up the delivery. I will never turn to Ikea for any important purchase. Truly the worst ever. It baffles me how much they suck given how big of a company they are. Still waiting on my couch, they messed up the delivery yet again and I am writing this as I am on hold with Support, yet again. Had to hold for 30mins while they connected and this is the news I got. Please save yourself the anguish and go somewhere else.
