The best restaurants in South West

Lovely little spot! Food was beautiful. My Auntie recommended to me after she experienced the mushrooms in a Stilton sauce which is full of flavour. I particularly like that things are homemade. There is a menu board for the menu of the week alongside a menu. I really enjoyed the chocolate and orange scone with homemade orange curd and cream. The staff are really friendly and attentive. Dog Friendly aswell with seating inside and outside. Will definitely be returning.

So much chicken & 👏 as soon as I said I was gluten free he was on it, knew exactly what I could have etc, very tasty as well, I had chillie sauce 🌶️🥵 some good stuff. Will be going again when visiting the area.

After a long hot day me and my other half decided we’d stop off at rays ice cream on our way home for a treat bear in mind we’ve never been so thought why not heard a lot of people say good things.waited In the queue for 5 minutes just to be turned away .not is this just poor customer service but as a well known ice cream parlour you’ve now lost customers and money

Great independent brewery/pub (/rabbits' warren) with great ambience. Free foosball, boardgames, library, laughs. Friendly service and delicious beer; highly recommended!

Lovely . Found online as staying at finlakes but we collected to find out they deliver. But lovely pizza

We called in during a day trip to what seemed like a nice local high street Deli / Cafe , how wrong we were . We ordered 2 flat white coffees ( which were nice ) a sandwich and a toasted sandwich £8.25 each . Paid up front . The bacon and cheese sandwich was as thin as was possible to make I mean thin with a slight scraping of cheese and a quarter piece of bacon in the whole two pieces . The goats cheese & chutney was similar all bread no filling . What we found outrageous is that the owner thinks it is ok to serve customers like this and charge nearly £20 for what in essence we had two pieces of bread each . Not sure if locals are treated like this maybe just our accents set us up as tourists . Shame on you !! My advice avoid avoid avoid !!!!

Great fried dumplings to start , prawn and pork. Had the curry laksa for the main with vegetable noodles, two mains enough for the three of us. Wine really reasonably priced. And I had a bottle of Bass which is a great beer

Recently visited for breakfast & found that this could be an amazing place; however, we didn’t find the staff very welcoming and the cleaning standards in the dining room are not up to scratch. There was food debris on the window sills next to the tables and the floor again needed a sweep. The tables were clean, so I would presume that the crumbs are just being wiped onto the surrounding surfaces rather than being caught and disposed? The cushions also need a clean as they have marks on them. The food itself was very good value for money & was served quickly and tasted fresh. I think the owners of this establishment would be disappointed that their employees are not keeping the cleaning and hospitality standards high.

This pub is fantastic! The atmosphere and decor are top-notch. We recently attended their steak night, and it was great. The food was delivered with such skill and attention to detail. It was a pleasure to be there, and we really appreciate you accommodating us all.

This was a buffet style place with a very limited range. You could keep returning to the buffet but we really didn't want to because the food was decidedly average. Decor is... odd and the staff were lovely.

Went for a slice after a night out tried their pizza, the pizza was the best I've ever had over here. We keep coming back for more, best take away get atleast 4 slices every time we go.
