The best restaurants in South West

The Abbots Table has everything. It's a very pleasant change to visit a restaurant and leave feeling completely satisfied. A lovely Polish waitress was so accommodating, and gave us the table by the fire. We were not rushed to order, which was a good thing as there is so much choice. When the food arrived, it was perfection. Vegetables just right (no paying extra for a side of vegetables) fresh new potatoes and a generous helping of Sea Bass. This place is a gem and one of the few restaurants that doesn't fleece you for sub-standard food.

The most delicious breakfast with a generous amount of smashed avocado and poached egg, bacon with gorgeous dressing. The zingy freshly squeezed juice gave me the shot of Vitamin D I needed and strong oat latte finished off my delicious breakfast/brunch. Loved the art work and friendly team. Definitely will be returning next time in Chagford.

Just come home after a weekend staying at the Anzac Street b&b, great location located in the centre of Dartmouth, the service was excellent and the breakfast was really nice. Would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely meal and cocktails. The pizza was nice and fresh and tasted amazing cocktails were amazing too. The staff were super friendly. Can’t wait to come back I want to come back in summer and sit in there garden area. Highly recommend.

Robin is a man, a man of seemingly average stature upon first inspection, but after sharing just a few moments with him, it becomes clear he is no man, but a god. Thank you Robin for having us, we talk about you every few days.

Delicious food and vegan options!!! My fav place to eat in Exeter

We spent two memorable days in The Cottage Hotel, Hope Cove. What treat it was having that fabulous view from our cosy rooms. The service was excellent with the friendly, obliging staff creating a welcoming atmosphere. The food is of a high standard and is reasonably priced.

First time going, delicious meal with authentic ingredients!! Definitely will go back!!

Came today for lunch. Short review: amazing, 10/10. Long review: Noah's sits in a strange place under a bridge, it used to be a truck drivers' pub I think. The outside of the restaurant looks great, like an arc (duh!) with round windows. Inside is very well decorated too, wooden panels, dimmed lights. Christmas tree in the middle! Cozy seats, not too many tables so it doesn't feel too cramped. It gets super busy when they serve lunch menu - book a table!!! We went for a classic lunch option - fish and chips for £12.95. De-li-cious! Very thin airy batter, flaky fish, good mushy peas and a lovely tartar sauce in a shell. Chips aren't greasy and it all comes with a mug of tea. Staff is polite and the service is quick for a lunchtime. Will surely come again 😝

Visited this lovely pub 4 times since being on holiday in the area! Great pub food and atmosphere!! Would highly recommend 10 out of 10 for service 😊

Excellent food, service and drinks. The place has a lovely atmosphere and helpful staff. We were so pleased we came here - in particular because one of the party is gluten free. The menu is extensive for GF options and set out very clearly. Only sorry we don't live close enough to come here much more often. Thanks for a great evening!

Went there this week as was recommended it by work colleagues as a great kebab, im originally from the Midlands and this wasnt what i call a good kebab, doner meat was cold, and to top it off there was metal in the salad, definitely wouldn't recommend. My search for a good kebab in Bristol continues
