Visited the apple cider boat in Bristol, cool venue a little cold but heaters were a nice thoughtful touch. Saw people raving about the wings and had to give them a try. Great wings, deserving of the awards. Buffalo excellent but honey mustard hit. Stand out customer service the girls were great.

We absolutely adore Gurt Wings! Each member of our family has their own favourite flavour. Our only "problem" is that they're so incredibly addictive—we can't stop ordering, lol! 😄 To those who weren't thrilled with a particular flavor, I highly recommend giving another one a try. Personally, I find the sweeter 'Wings of China' and the creamier 'Ranch Sauce' irresistible, while my husband swears by the buffalo sauce. With so many options, there's something to satisfy everyone's taste buds! And for those who say they can get wings cheaper elsewhere, go right ahead! You won't be missed, because Gurt Wings already has massive queues and often sells out. Quality and flavor like this are worth every penny! 🍗 And it’s not just the food, the staff are also lovely. Visited Gurt Wings loads of times over the years and always had a top notch experience. From the days before their big food trucks, they were always and are still super friendly. I really recommend the Lost in Translation popcorn chicken if you prefer a sweeter sauce, or the buffalo chicken strips if you like some spice! These are my favourites on the menu, add a side of cheese stix with habanero sauce and you'll be loving life. The portions are huge and quality of the chicken excellent, best fried chicken I've had!

Been to Gurt Wings numerous times in Swindon, Bristol & when they were at The Five Bells in Bassett and I love it every time. My friends say I’ve got an obsession and I’m okay with that 😂 delicious sauce, super fresh, hot food, they are always a friendly team, loads of tater tots which is always a bonus and just hits the spot every time! Best chicken around 🍗

Our first taste of Gurt Wings, and we weren’t that impressed. We felt what we ordered (combo box £15.50) x 4 it was massively overpriced. The wings were small and the strips were tough. Not what I would’ve expected from the chicken being marinated in buttermilk for x amount of time. Queued for 2 hours, and incredibly gutted with the end result. It all just looked a bit of a mess.

I had the chicken combo box with the bbq sauce and baconnaise. My dear God almighty, absolutely amazing. So tasty, favoured and all round yummy. The price reflects the top quality food you are getting. If you get the chance get it and try it, you will love it. The tots are crispy and not greasy, the wings are crunchy and the chicken is tender and tasty, the strips are large, crispy and juicy. 5⭐️ all round.

First time at Gurts and it was amazing! The staff were great, special shout out to Amy, Dan and Laura for the great service. Highly recommended!

I had free large box of tater tots tonight. I was in a pub they were serving outside of, after they finished up, I assume they had a little left over stuff and dished it out to the people in the pub. They were very nice. Next time I see your van I'll be sure to grab sumat as the food looks lush

Being based in Kent, there aren’t alot of food businesses that are passionate about the quality and service of fast food. After all the concept of it to most is to make money. As a foodie, I would drive the ends of the country to eat quality, flavourful and passionate food. The craving for wings this weekend had me “gaslight” the family (2 adults 2 kids) to drive from Dartford to Bristol to get the fix. Yes call me crazy! I was initially disappointed with myself to miss out on Gurt’s Wing stand at Bristol Habourside reaching the spot at 4pm when I saw the food truck drive past me as I just went past heading into the carpark. Quick search of their social media (Instagram) page gave me the exact location of where I could stalk them to not succumb to my failure. Drive on… Upon arriving at the Tout’s Cleeve Petrol Station( Esso) brought me relief that I was going to satisfy my craving. We parked up in a space in the generously sized car park. The staff are so friendly and everyone queuing seemed chatty! I think thats the norm meeting people outside the M25 anyway! My wife ordered the buffalo wings and I got the “Lost in Translation “. I also had my eye on the description of the “Gurts Dip”. So I also ordered a meal box of 5 wings and tater tots in the name of the kids. I didn’t have to wait long before my order was called out and headed back to the car smiling like a cheshire cat. The hype is real! Starting with buffalo ( not a fan of buffalo in general) I knew it was good when.the Mrs chomped all of them down saying it is the best buffalo sauce she has had. I had to start of the Gurt’s Dip wings to pass the tater tots to the kids in the back which were crisp light fluffy- perfect accompaniment to the wings. Boy! This was so good I had to run back to the food truck after demolishing the wings to buy a bottle of the sauce. Unfortunately they do not sell it yet but was presented with a few tubs to take home. The finale- “ Lost in Translation” wings was loaded with the sauce, presentation on point to where you could feast these bad boys with your eyes. Tucking into them was literally life changing! Now, I am fully aware I have not “described” how this wings tasted and used all sorts of complicated words. See the REAL pictures I impatiently took in the car and start salivating thinking of how good it must be and get yourself down to one of their locations. I promise you to find flavour, quality, passion and service here that is rarely seen in the fast food business.

So, I embarked on a noble quest for sustenance, armed only with a BBQ chicken box for my discerning son. Now, when he says it was "alright," let’s just say that’s high praise from a kid who usually communicates in grunts and the occasional eye roll. If that’s his version of a Michelin star, I’ll take it! Next up, I tackled the Gurt Locker combo box. Mfs, this was flavor heaven! The hot sauce packed a punch that could wake the dead—but in a good way, of course. I found the heat to be just right, which might explain why I'm currently parked in an emergency room. You see, my lovely wife had a rather... ambitious request that led to my culinary adventure taking a sharp turn. In summary, if you’re looking for a meal that’ll get your taste buds dancing and maybe send you on an unexpected trip to the ER, the Gurt Locker combo box is your ticket! Just remember: enjoy the flavors, but maybe skip the post-dinner cunnilingus. Bon appétit!

Ordered from Gurtwings at a local food market last week and was surprised. The mix I ordered is more expensive than the other vendors nearby but I got a big portion and was very impressed opening the lid for the first time, first impressions were great! Overall the quality of the food is really good, everything was fried well and it’s clear details like the oil being clean have been considered. I also liked the range of sauces, I had the Parmesan one. First impressions and appearance were great as I said, and so were the tater tots. I also liked the fact I got chicken wings and boneless fillets. However both were far too salty, it’s easy to say that I chose the Parmesan sauce which will have salt in it, but that isn’t something I should really have to think about, I also feel like the chicken would have still been too salty without it. Perhaps on another day it will be different. Also, I liked the big blocks of fried cheese, but mine were sat underneath the chicken in a pool of oil, and that combined with the oil cheese naturally has meant it was a bit too oily for my liking, maybe a small piece of greaseproof paper between the chicken and the cheese would’ve prevented that. With that said, I liked what I had and I would definitely order again, although perhaps I’d go for a smaller meal choice!

Went to the pop up at the apple and it didn’t disappoint. Tyrone & Babs took care of us and everything spot on. You’re playing yourself if you don’t get to Gurtrina for some flavours.

We came to the Stonehouse location bang on 2 o’clock as they was getting ready to leave and they where all still very happy to serve and facilitate, we follow them on TikTok and have been planning on driving down from Central Gloucester for weeks, we had BBQ wings and Potato Tots which was out of this world and the staff where even better, 10/10 we will be back to try the strips soon

Got a takeaway out when they were at Dark Revolutions tap room, and the food was amazing! Plenty of food for sharing and the range of sauces are fantastic! Really nice guys serving the food and really friendly. Would highly recommend trying the food whenever you can, 5 stars!!!

Was passing by the truck at harbourside and thought I'd give it a try as I'd heard good things. Had the satay wings and they were out of this world. The sauce was amazing and it had the perfect balance between saltiness and sweetness, with a wedge of lime on the side to cut through everything. 10/10 will definitely be back for more. Also got to give a shout to the fantastic staff!

BEST IN BRISTOL! It doesn't get any better than this, amazing portions for a really good price, all tastes absolutely incredible - the buffalo+blue loaded tater tots were insane. All the staff are so friendly and are clearly just having a great time and just want to spread their positivity with the guests. Will absolutely be back. This is a must-do for anyone in Bristol, don't miss out!

Like, the food was pretty good, the chicken was a bit overdone and the sauce felt like it was just sprayed on but I did thoroughly enjoy it. Really the thing that let it down was I went to wait in line l, waited, and then they deliberately served the customer behind me. No apology, just attitude as if I should have stood there and said nothing. Also when the order before me arrived back out the shop his food was ready but none of the staff appeared to remember who they were and would have left him standing if I hadn’t told him that his food was ready. So to recap, could have been better food if more care had been taken to cook it and letting queue cutting happen is not something I can condone, not the service I expect paying £11:50 for 3 chicken strips.

Recently ate at Harbourside market. Unbelievable quality and quick service. This is the second time I have been and the staff and food have been brilliant on both occasions. Would certainly recommend and looking forward to visit number 3!

The best wings I've ever had!! Honestly, I would highly recommend trying these guys out - the food is 10/10 and the service is great too. Great value if you ask me compared to other food trucks with what you get for your money. Make sure you pick up some of their home made sauces too because they are unreaaaaal.

Wings should never cost 12.50 with tater tots, wings are one of the cheapest meats on the market and so are spuds, basically paying for labour for over priced wings. £1.60 for a pack of wings from Waitrose. And these lot want over a tenner for 5 with some potatoes. These industries that trend on social media will collapse. Nice reply I know exactly how much wings cost thanks they have plummeted in cost and are cheaper than before pandemic, nice try tho guys, anyone paying that money for wings just to pay staff members are insane, you act like the country isn't in a cost of living crisis, you industry will collapse from this type of over the top prices, I'd rather charge cheaper and get more customers than overcharge and act like your doing us a favour.

Not great… Had with a mate and within 2 hours we were both sick. Food was average, tater tots were too sweet with their “chicken seasoning”. Value for money would’ve been okay given the food lived up to expectations, which it did not.

I had the standard wings with gurt locker sauce and tater tots. Lovely quality of the food overall and worth the wait (freshly cooked and very popular). Highly recommended. The gurt locker sauce was extremely spicy and humbled me for sure. I will be going again but next time with a milder sauce! However I'm glad i tried it and would recommend.

Tried Gurt wings in Swindon. They were terrrible, their flavours are disgusting. How are they winning awards? One flavour tasted like ketchup and was just weird mixed with mango. Overhyped terrible food for £25. I would love a refund but i doubt I'll get it. Not to mention you have to wait 30 minutes for food. The Wetherspoon wings are x10 better. They are crispy and the sauces are amazing.

Absolutely the best chicken & wings I've ever tasted. Absolute peng doesn't even come close to the flavour of this food. That ranch sauce is the absolute bomb!!!! My go to place if I ever want a chicken fix. Take my money :-)

Highly recommended. Came up on my Facebook at 5pm today that they were in Langford so decided to give it a go and honestly, I was not disappointed. They were NOT joking when they said the Gurt Locker will give you severe ring sting. I had the Large Strips meal at £13 which contained 4x chicken strips and tater tots. I chose the Habanero Chilli Syrup to accompany them. My partner had the loaded tater tots with the Gurt Dipper sauce for £10 and honestly, it blew my mind. I usually don't even like mustard but the honey mustard was the perfect choice! Neither of us were brave enough to go for the Gurt Locker sauce all over our food so we got a pot of it for £1 and when I say we underestimated it, I'm not joking. We read it had Scorpion and Ghost chilli's in, but thought we could handle it.... we were wrong and are now facing the consequences!

Gurty has been somewhere ive been visiting for long time now and i look weekly where his trucks are based to see it is near where im working and today, well today we’re in luck! Bristol city centre! Think I’ve tried most flavours on menu by now, and everytime I always get impressed. Look this ain’t no restaurant, Michelin star food it’s chicken wings and tenders! But don’t let that fool you! I’ve had multiple wings from around the world and I rate these wings highly. Gurty has that touch when comes to winging! Today I had - Gurt wings of China, let’s talk about the chicken first it’s good sized wing a crispy well seasoned skin with that crunch we all look for, the meat is juicy and tender and it’s not saturated in oil. I guess they use fresh oil daily, huge plus point! Then comes the selection of flavour you can add, I’ll summarise as having the whole menu over time - all the flavours, sauce really have been thought about the viscosity, the depth of flavour the correct amount of toppings it all just works! My favourites on menu have to be - buffalo w/ ranch, gurt wings of China, mango habanero. But they all are great! Price can put some people off, but you’re not getting ur standard wings n chips you’re getting something a bit more special, fresh quality and award winning style wings! Plus those tattertots hit different! Let them soak in those juices and they go up even more levels! You won’t leave here hungry or disappointed believe me! Your classic deep fried chicken with typical sauces and sides. Chicken is great: really firm and tender and juicy, and that includes the breast meat. Decent sauces, good blue cheese, and lovely halloumi-style cheese stix. The tater tots are addictive. They park up outside the Hop Union tap room in Brislington, Bristol every now and then, so check em out.

Very tasty wings with mango habenero sauce and crispy yet pillowy soft tater tots. A little overpriced at £12 for only 5 wings and tots though.

I finally got to try the wings at the legendary Gurt Wings at Bristol Harbourside Market and trust me, it was worth the 2 hour drive. I absolutely loved the award winning buffalo wings, so I had to get aother portion. The Gurt locker wings packed a serious kick but the habanero chilli syrup wings helped with the after burn. Also loved the tater tots as a side. These wings were so banging and you can taste why the legend Uncle Gurty wins so many awards at food festivals.

Tried at Bristol food fest and they were the best wings/tater tots combo I’ve ever had. Noticed they sell their own sauce online so bought a bottle to try and it’s incredible, exactly as it was from the truck. Absolutely recommend

Wild Wing Winners 2021 @ WingFest BBQ was nice, but the signature buffalo was extremely sharp with acidity, my eyes were actually watering. Similar flavour to Wingmans. Unfortunately not worth the 41 mile drive. Tata Tots were nice tho.

First time trying today, being completely honest we was expecting a lot higher standard than received today unfortunately. Firstly the breading/coating on the wings was falling off, dark in colour and bland , tasted burnt. Secondly the wings were tough and chewy. The wing flavouring was very good as were The Tatar tots but wouldn’t be back in a hurry. 5/10

10/10 would recommend. Delicious food and lovely staff! Should definitely be tried by all. My favourite flavours are Buffalo and Lost in Translation.

There was a wait but more than worth it. Sadly the wings didn't survive long enough for a photo, instead I invite you to imagine Homer Simpson drooling at the thought of donuts. That's how I feel having just finished my wings wishing for another one. I had the lost in translation sauce this time - really looking forward to trying buffalo in the future!

OH MY GOD. Lost in translation! Japanese Karaage style wing with a Korean style ketchup with Sriracha lime and maple mayo. Sprinkle of Japanese 7 spice and sesame seeds. Been dying to try this place and with them only round the corner it made sense! Midweek treat. OH. MY. GOD. The flavours were amazing. I love Korean and Japanese food and these flavours were incredible!!! Massive thank you to the woman behind the till for the recommendation! It was AMAZING. Cannot wait for you guys to be back again and to sample more of the menu.

I finally got the chance to try Gurt Wings! Everyone at my workplace recommended this place to me and can understand why! Absolutely a real treat. Proper food this is. The chicken was top stuff, and Gurty / Harold is the most nicest people you will ever meet. They welcome you with open arms and you can easily strike a social conversation with them. This is my type of place. 😍

Absolutely bloody delicious! Service with a smile and lots of kindness. The wings were awesome. I had the Gurt Buffalo wings.... just delicious with the blue cheese sauce. If I had the choice I wouldn't have the Southern fried coating on the outside but that in no way spoils them. It's just personal preference. The blue cheese sauce and the tater tots were lush too! There is nowhere to sit so if you want the food hot, take a picnic blanket to sit on the grass and lots of warm clothes or enjoy the food sat in your car. Generous portions, great service, lovely people and well worth the journey to get them! 🙂
