Unfortunately we ate our food to quickly Food was amazing my girls loved the pizza my pizza was nice. Thought they egg would be runny. Pasta was nice. Chips was a lil oily. The lady sorting us to begin with was rather rude and didn't look like she had any patience with kids unfortunately

I was in Swindon for a works conference and we stayed over the night before. We booked a meal here for 30+ of us on Tiesfay night. This is a true gem and an amazing restaurant with a top quality menu and service to die for. They were able to cater for our party size with no issues whatsoever, all drinks and food coming out quickly and not over/undercooked in any way. Staff were super friendly and felt like part of our group by the end of the meal. We even had some of our party arrive later, and it was no issue to get them sorted. This has to be one of the best restaurants I've been to for a good long while. Sadly I live in Teesside so cannot easily come back but trust me this place would be worth the extra effort to get back to. Stop in soon, you won't be disappointed.

I go here twice a year with my company and it's always fun. The food is great, staff are brilliant and the atmosphere is nice. Definitely recommend!

My brother and I booked for Last Friday, and I'm glad we came here. The service excellent service started the minute we walked into the restaurant. The gentleman greeted us within seconds of walking in and asked if we'd had a booking and took my name. Thereafter, he took us to our table to be seated and introduced us to the server that would be looking after us through the evening. She was so accommodating. I have issues when eating out as I can't take onions, fish, meat so she was extra careful when putting our order through, and I must say the food was hot and fresh when it came out mama mia what tasty food it was. I had the penne arrabiatta, and my brother went for a pizza and some garlic and fungi fritti... followed by dessert tiramusu mouth watering.... Ordered a vegan vegetable pizza. Don’t normally complain about extra toppings but this was next level raw onion, peppers and pineapple pilled high and hardly any vegan cheese. Didn’t feel like I was eating a pizza there was so much going on. Sad because I’d heard good things. Left half of it as disappointing. Waiters lovely and super nice inside maybe I’d try the pasta next time.

We had a wonderful experience at Fratello’s . The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. what really made our visit special was the exceptional care the staff showed in celebrating my sister's birthday. They went above and beyond to make her feel special, and even surprised her with a free meal! We're so grateful for the thoughtful touches and can't wait to come back. We went tonight to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday. The owner (I think) was very charismatic and attentive without being overbearing. The waiting staff were equally as efficient and polite. Then there was the food, the starters were so good, followed by the mains which were equally as good. The portions were so generous that we didn't have room for pudding. After our table was cleared the staff came and sang happy birthday to my daughter and gave her a complimentary pudding. All in all, it was the best dining experience I have had in a very long time. 5 stars from me and this won't be the last visit.

Consistently great service with your restaurant, even though it was busy staff were friendly and food was quick. And great tasting food, my friend said it was the best lasagne she'd ever eaten. Finally, the 2-year-old in our party loved watching the pizzas being made. Can't fault the experience of eating with you. EDIT: 2 years later and this restaurant is getting better and better. Outstanding service, the speed is amazing and staff are so attentive and friendly and always accommodate dietary requirements and even just preferences, they are so happy to personalise meals for you. And even if the service were not impeccable it wouldn't matter because the food is just INCREDIBLE. Just so delicious.

The food here is AMAZING. Authentic Italian dishes, never had a bad meal when here (or when ordering). Due to the great quality food, it does tend to get busy (I'd recommend booking in advance!) which means service can be slightly on the slow side, but that's understandable with how busy it can get. The decor is lovely and again, very authentic Italian feeling. The only reason I've dropped a point for atmosphere is because due to the resteraunt being busy, it can get quite loud and a little difficult to hear ithers around the table. Overall, a wonderful Italian resteraunt and would recommend.

Typical Italian atmosphere. All competent, available and passionate about their work. Pizza made really well, much better than in many Italian places. I have seen many Italian style pizzerias in the UK and I have been to many, but here you breathe and eat real Italian cuisine with its products. Don't go far to eat well, in Swindon you have this pizzeria.

Best Italian food restaurant in Swindon without a doubt. I am visiting the place every now and then for the last 7 years and I could say without a doubt the consistency of the good food and service is unchanged. Always a warm welcome, professional service and the food is absolutely amazing. I already tried almost everything on the menu and it's fair to say that the quality is always the best.

It’s such a shame, because it’s easily a 5-star place, if the service was just sorted out. Seriously, the food is fantastic, and I think the prices are reasonable for what you get… but the staff rush absolutely everything. The final nail in the coffin for me was that I was STILL EATING and they took my plate away. Why? There was just no need for it. Please sort this out, because the restaurant is fantastic otherwise.

Lunch deal at £9.99 is good. Ordered 3 dishes. Pasta quality ok. I can give rating 4 but now scaled to 2 because of a waitress who served us showing very indifferent attitude. No smile at all. I felt we were not welcomed. Very cold face all the way even without a word of thanks after I paid despite I thanked her along the way. Extremely uncomfortable with her poor customer service.

The food was absolutely incredible. And all the staff where very amazing to. However the one staff member that severed us did not smile, Shoved Parmesan cheese on my food without asking for it and refused to let us order our starters before our mains. This was rectified shortly after by another member of staff saying it was ok..

Pizza da 10 e lode! Took my Italian parents to eat here and they absolutely loved it. They are not easy to please, and they felt like at home. Thank you Italo for the excellent service. 💯 recommended!

Every penny was worth it! From starters with calamari to lasagne and the magnificent tiramisu

It took almost two hours to get delivered, only received communication after we requested it and when it did arrive the chips were soggy and cold, the pizza was meh but the garlic bread was good. It honestly tasted better the next day microwaved (only ate because it was expensive) when we reached out for the refund of delivery cost as just eat gave us the option we were refused. Overall very unhappy with the food and service

Had a great meal for lunch, the weekend lunch menu is great value for money and has lots of options. Food is tasty, pizza is made in a wood fired pizza oven and is massive. Would definitely come back.

Booked as a birthday treat for my daughter. Party of four. We were seated at a table with one end against a wall, so elbow-room was non-existent, and between two very large noisy groups, which made it impossible to hold a conversation. I ordered their seafood tagliatelle and was brought a carbonara. Had to sit with no food for 15 min while the rest of my group ate. (Two awful greasy pizzas and one passable chicken pasta). Eventually my pasta arrived with scallops like bullets and watery, tasteless tomato sauce. I ate two mouthfuls and sent it back. Meal cost £72 and most of it went in the bin. I wish I had taken pictures to show how truly atrocious this food was. Went for coffee and cake down the road instead.

Disgusting customer service. Never met with such an attitude. Delivered wrong pizza but didn’t even bother to apologise and that’s after they finally picked up the phone. Said kitchen already closed (that was 10mins prior to closing). Then said will resend but when I asked if they can skip goat cheese this time- basically accused me of lying about incorrect toppings on the pizza so i would get new pizza?? I have only requested not to put goat cheese this time as I knew they will remake the pizza anyway and that was first time i got it to try (took only one bite of the pizza they delivered to see how is it- didn’t really like it). I would have never called them if they didn’t mess it up at the first place . I don’t usually complain. It’s not first time they missed some of my topping and didn’t call before . But this time they missed 3 toppings and added onions which i didn’t want . Completely wrong. I used to order from them last few years and spent almost 2k for their food. Yesterday was a last time. Lost a customer. The way “lady” on the phone spoke to me was unacceptable. It was my birthday and spent last few weeks on the diet waiting for this pizza day to come just so i would end up upset. The pizza they redelivered didnt even have sliced mushrooms like usual but chunks of them which didn’t taste cooked. I can’t even describe how upset I was . Never again. I sent the pizza back with a driver so they could see I wasn’t lying .

Food was great quality and generous portions too. Service was friendly and efficient- perfect balance of being there whenever you needed something but not feeling like you're being rushed / overbearing. There were 5 of us including my 3 year old, and though there wasn't anything on the menu she liked initially, they were very accommodating and made her a simple cheesy pasta which she loved! Will definitely be back.

Excellent experience celebrating my husband's birthday. Very tasty and well served starters. Delicious main dishes and, again, VERY well served. We wanted to try the pizza, which is made beautifully and smells amazing, but we didn't have room for it. Still on the flavors, the desserts are also delicious and end the experience on a high note. We had the honor of being attended to by the owner who, as a good Italian, was a great host. Very kind and warm! The restaurant is super clean, well lit and well looked after. Cozy and clean place at the same time. We will have to make the huge sacrifice of coming back many more times to try all the flavors we were left wanting! SUPER RECOMMENDED!

Shocking...! The 1 star can only be given for the swift delivery. For just shy of £35, my partner and I had just a main meal each. No sides or anything like that. I ordered a carbonara for me, and my partner had a lasagne. I took the 2 foil containers out of the bag. My container had filth and grass on the lid where it had obviously been dropped on the floor. His food container was OK, but inside, I'm afraid the food could only be described as slop. No sheets of pasta through the food, and the consistency of soup. My carton remains intact. I didn't even open it. The outline of a floor tile is on the lid, which then begs the question of kitchen hygiene. 🤔 My partner and I, tried calling over 30 times between us. There's not even a ringtone, the line goes dead immediately. I then saw the live chat option, so I offered my mealtime woes to someone I believed to be working in Fratello's. Only to find out, it was a third party company, offering assistance, that couldn't offer assistance. So, I emailed my evermore frustrating displeasure, including pictures. I have had no response. Absolutely disgusting.

Not great. Pizzas ok with good toppings. However very disappointing pasta dishes which were pretty small and over priced at around £15 a pop. 8 of us and everyone who had pasta was disappointed… plenty of sauce so why not add more pasta?! Shame, have used this place for work groups previously but won’t be returning

What a gem! At the theatre in Swindon and booked this as it was close and reviews were good. The food was excellent and service was efficient and friendly. Will definitely eat there again, when we return to Swindon. Wish it was closer to home!

Had a lovely meal back in Feb for my 50th. Now just had pizzas delivered, absolutely lovely, would defo recommend, food was lovely.

First time visiting Fratello's and was very impressed by the warm, genuine greeting on arrival, the quick service and the great pizzas. Will be definitely visiting again in the very near future! October update: Seafood risotto and seafood tagliatelle ordered. Both slightly underwhelming in flavour with far too much very rubbery and flavourless octopus in the seafood mixture. Had to pick it all out in the end as there was just too much of it (see photo). Even with lots of chilli oil (which was very mild indeed) and pepper, both dishes were rather disappointing. Jan 2024 A third visit delivered with fabulous pizzas though the server seemed very confused when I asked for no ham on the quattro pizza as it's supposed to be in 4 sections... Just add more of the other ingredients, I don't mind which one, just not ham (hence my quattro became tre!). Would definitely recommend for their pizzas!

Food here is amazing! cannot recommend it enough. Every time I go Swindon I always have to visit the restaurant. The food portions are quite big so sometimes I just order starters . I have visted a few time here. I love the potato gnocchi with the creamy sauce - Although it can be heavy but I love it. The penne arrabbiata was amazing the suace very authentic and not something I would find at anyother places. Cannot wait to visit again.

1st visit to this lovely Italian restaurant. Friendly welcoming staff who are attentive, but not over bearing. Drinks and food order was very quick to the table. Food was beautifully cooked and piping hot. House red wine is delicious and great value. Quiet, relaxed atmosphere and good prices. Will definitely return 👍

Been there last time on Wednesday 6th of December, but till today I’m outraged by the situation happened with me and my partner. We were here lots of times before, between lockdowns, had celebrations with friends here and everything was okay. Except this situation ⬇️ So we came at 8 pm on Wednesday (this fact is important) to have a great desert with drinks. But on time we were paying our bill, the waiter said: “ Next time if you will come here just for deserts we wouldn’t serve you” Excuse me???! What do you mean by this??? I’m your guest! And even if I would come for glass of water, you’d have to serve me. We wasn’t drunk or something, we were wearing clean and nice clothes. I had hair style, make up and dress on. So there is no reason to reject to serve us. We came here to have a coffee with a desert, not for rudeness or anything like that. Our bill was about £20, so what’s the difference between pizza and coke and tiramisu with coffee??? It was so rude, that we have nothing to say at this time because of shock 😳 But till now, 3 month later this situation didn’t leave us. Really disappointed.

Having had some retail therapy at the outlet centre , decided we wanted to have a proper meal , and due to a recommendation from one of the reception staff there , we caught a taxi there , have to say the food and service was second to none, and even though we live in Bristol, wouldn't hesitate to get on a train and use it again

We booked this restaurant for a 50th birthday celebration for a table of 9. The placement of the table was great and we was all able to face each other alliwing goid chat to flow. The staff were helpful, funny and charming, they sang happy birthday to my sister with a tambourine which was amazing, whilst ensuring that everyone joined in with the singing, making the whole experience even more memorable for her. The food was delicious. I had the pate to start, which , in my eyes was one of the best I've tasted. I had a pizza which was true Italian style and profitta rils for pudding. I want to thank the restaurant for an amazing and special day for my sister's 50th🤩

We had an excellent birthday lunch here as a family. The food was great and they had no problem catering for our group of 11 (including two toddlers). The staff were really friendly and attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Really good experience at Fratello’s this evening, absolutely loved the presentation of the food and obviously the taste! I normally order delivery once a week but really wanted somewhere to take my 2 year old for a mummy, daughter date night and fratellos was the perfect place! They are amazing and cater so well to kids, thank you for a lovely experience.

Great starters and mains but terrible experience with dessert. Creme brulee just didn't taste (very cold, thick & I could only taste eggs) and we were not allowed to exchange it. Very petty when you spend £40+ but can't change something which £6 on menu. Left disappointed.

Its like a little Italy in the heart of Swindon, an assuming little cosy loving warm atmosphere. Fratellos is an experience and not just a restaurant. The people here are amazingly courteous, warm and the food is to die for!! Highly recommended for any occasion intimate or a group setting

First time here, the drink I ordered was flat and when asked to change I didn't receive anything until 15mins after. Our pizzas came and the centres were both soggy and didn't have much flavour. I expected from an Italian that fresh ingredients would be used. The pineapple on my pizza was tinned and the ham too was all stuck together in lumps. Have to say all in all not the best as I was expecting, however the girl who looked after us was always smiling and asking is everything ok

Gave a 4 for food as slightly disappointed that the lasagne did not come with garlic bread apart from that everything else was perfect.

Amazing meal, as always. By far the best Italian food we've had. The pizzas are always second to none and the salmon was delicious. Just as fabulous as the food though is the service. We celebrated my daughters 8th birthday and she was made to feel extra special. Fantastic vibe and extra festive around Christmas time. Thank you for a lovely experience. She is still talking about her Tiramisu.

It has a nice, intimate atmosphere but very middling food. Overpriced considering they are all things you can easily make better at home. Service was generally average but then one of the waitresses was not personable to the point of being rude. So overall, not a great experience.
