Had a lovely evening tonight, me and the lads ended up having a really good time, all the staff were wonderfully helpful, especially the two members of staff called Leroy and Evie, who blew us away with their levels of professionalism and customer service. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quirky cocktail experience provided by a wonderful work force. 10/10 evening all round.

Had a great night visiting the Laundry Bar. The drinks were amazing and service was outstanding. The atmosphere is very relaxed and chilled. We were looked after by Lewys for the evening and his service was awesome. Would very much recommend a visit and no doubt we will be back very soon.

Had SUCH a lovely time here! Was so much fun and the cocktails are so fun and unique!! The staff were all so lovely but a special shout out to (I think his name was Darren according to my receipt) curly hair working upstairs the evening of 16/03/24!! I left my lip gloss there when we left (I had no idea) and he came and found us in the bar next door to give it back to me!! So lovely and so grateful!

Had a girly evening with two friends we had a couple of cocktails each.we enjoyed trying to figure out which of the cocktails were what ie hulk hand,milk and cerial. Staff very attentive,no pressure to keep ordering. Lovely atmosphere highly recommend to anyone. Thanks

Such a lush place, the secret entry makes it so unique and fun from the start! The atmosphere was top tier, good music, all the staff were so friendly and attentive. The cocktails speak for themselves, they all looked amazing! Will 1000% be going back. We didn’t have food so that’s why there’s no score for that.

Thank you for making our two year anniversary an amazing experience. Even tho my partner was driving and sober he was included and given a leya With my aloha cocktail, the little touches matter massively and made the evening so wonderful, and as it was rebooked next to no wait on drinks and the service was wonderful. The cocktail were amazing, they made me a lively long island tea too ( I went off pise) staff are really good and the atmosphere is a brilliant Speakeasy vide.

Came down from Coventry to check it out for our birthday party, didn't want a table, just a drink at the bar, the doorman was not the best... will not be back

Brilliant cocktail bar with great bartenders serving great drinks at reasonable prices - you can also go off menu and they will do their best to accommodate. Complimentary crisps served with your drinks and there is a small snack selection including spicy nuts, olives and a sliced meat and cheese plate. Need to book a table on their website or you can press the bell hidden behind the Surf box to try your luck with a walk in.

Easily the best bar/speakeasy in Swindon. Leroy is an excellent host serving creative drinks he created and the bar has a wonderful atmosphere. Can’t recommend it enough, please pay them a visit. You’ll regret it if you don’t. Hands down the best place Swindon has to offer.

I went with two friends last night and what a great time we had and a fabulous concept ! The staff are lovely and go out of their way to make your experience a pleasure ! I had a rum cocktail which was lovely and friends had wine which they enjoyed ! The music was great, lovely decor and olives were define ! I highly recommend it , best bar in Swindon by far ! Just the kind of bar I needed on a Thursday night to meet a couple of mates for a chilled drink. The service was wonderful, the cocktails were creative and the ambiance was perfect. Loved the art deco furniture, I felt like Gatsby for a couple of hours. Go and check it out for yourself. Note: you need to book, but there’s reasoning behind it which you’ll enjoy.

Absolutely loved this place when me and my friend visited a month ago. The staff were lovely and would do anything they could to help. Made us smile so much at the extra effort that went into our optional request. I'd definitely give more than 5 stars if I could. Would definitely recommend going to to experience this one of a kind place

The most unique cocktail experience I've ever had. Great range of drinks with so much thought put into each creation. Highly recommend the Hulk smash and a whole new world.

Loved the whole experience from shouting "dirty knickers " to get let in the secret door to the themed cocktails and atmosphere. Music was good and the staff attentive.

I booked this bar to celebrate my Daughters 21st Birthday, the staff were extremely helpful, efficient and very polite. They made her night with subtle gifts as in a slice of cake beautifully presented and provided us with Tequila Rose Shots, she was so happy with this simple but thoughtful gesture Well done guys Couldn’t recommend this place enough

Best cocktail bar I’ve ever been to! Honestly can say this was a great experience, cocktails were very reasonably priced but the experience you get with each cocktail was incredible, such a unique bar. Staff were so friendly and really knowledgeable about the cocktails. Defo worth a visit, I will 100% be returning and will be looking forward to my next visit.

Had such a wonderful evening here with friends, celebrating my fiancé's birthday a couple weeks ago. The owner and staff were super accommodating when I had preempted a large group of us turning up. Exceptional and attentive service, delicious and fun cocktails. Love the concept of the speakeasy and I think it's a great addition to Old Town.

Lurking behind a 1980s laundrette, accessed by password and a secret doorbell, lies a stylish cocktail bar offering delicious alcoholic drinks served with a sense of pizazz and style. Crazy drinks like "I am Groot" and "Aloha heart" delivered with smoke, dry ice, fire, lights, and so on. Great staff, prices are more than reasonable for cocktails, vibe, and sense of theatre. Highly recommended...

Love this coffee shop/bar with the low level lighting. Lovely coffee and alcohol. With friendly atmosphere. Is just a shame is abit on the smaller size. It does fill up pretty quickly!

Lovely little bar. The menu has a lot of nice cocktails to choose from - the coffee/cream based ones tasted great! The staff were all attentive and talkative. There's a bell system to call a staff member over before around 10pm or so. Would visit again!

Second best coffee place in Swindon, after darkroom, also the cocktails are smashing. Great vibe all day and night long. Staff are friendly and the drinks menu is kept fresh, homely vibe for all ages.

The best drinks, staff, djs and clientele

Popped in after dinner for a quick drink. We enjoy craft beers and frequent the Tuppenny, so are used to paying a fair amount for quality beers. However, the beer menu here was a choice of one commercial lager on draft (Camden Hells) or "ask about what's available in the fridge". We did the latter, and were shown two different cans. The girl who served us didn't know anything about either beer, and seemed rushed and disinterested - keen to get back to her conversation with somebody else. We chose one of the two cans on offer (the IPA) at random. They were small cans (330ml) and were £5 each. Ouch. Nope, it wasn't strong either (3.9%, I believe). As I've already said, we don't mind paying for what the beer is worth, but Baila were simply a rip-off. Would maybe try again for coffee but not alcohol.

Cool small independent place with great music and good coffee for not much money. Weekend evenings get lively in a good way with Djs.

Trendy coffee shop that turns into a bar at night (Thurs, Fri & Sat) with DJ's spinning good old-fashioned vinyl. Great coffee and lovely cherry/almond cake!

It's ok. Staff ok. Coffee is ok. Place is too small if your over 6foot. There are better cafes just down the road.

We stopped here one Thursday night for some cocktails. Would recommend getting there before 10 for some cracking deals on cocktails. friendly bar staff and good music playing.

This is a real find, if you like listening to good tunes, drinking tasty cocktails, and having a bit of a dance this is definitely a place to go. Most cocktail places in Swindon aren’t that great so finding this place made me very happy. The staff are really friendly and the vibe of the place is happy and smiley. I almost didn’t do a review as I don’t want it to get to popular, I don’t do queuing so hopefully there will always be a spot with my name on it

Great staff, great music and lovely atmosphere. They even humour the designated driver and gave me shots of water instead of alcohol so that no one was left out.

Music is good, drinks are abysmal, service is rare.

Arguably one of the best places in Swindon to go to at the moment in my opinion. Shame about the building size as on popular nights you could be waiting outside for a little bit but I find it's worth the wait.

As usual we had another great night with friends at Baila. The music is always great and taking full advantage of their happy hour offer starts the night off nicely 😋

Unique for good reasons. This place is great for Swindon, proper DJs playing some of the finest music around from all ages, nothing cheesy, just class. It’s IMO has a grown up relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. I recommend it to all who want to have a good might listening to better dance, funk, upbeat music. Drink prices are reasonable. Open late. Try it.....

Oat milk latte of dreams. Thank you Baila for making my mornings happy and making the most delicious coffee!! Not forgetting the crazily creative cocktails - at Christmas I had a miniature candy cane as a cocktail garnish and it was basically the best thing ever to happen to a drink.

Looking for a different coffee shop in old town we came across Baila Coffee & Vinyl on Victoria Road.Its an interesting quirky café-cum-bar.Very good quality coffee - at a good price (£5 for 2).Friendly helpful chatty barista.Toilets could do with an upgrade.Only downside was the noise inside during the day - even when its very quiet. Due to the layout its echoes a lot and you can hardly hear yourself think, let alone hold a conversation.Shame, as apart from the noise, its a great little café!
