Good food. Excellent service. A nice surprise to find really good food as a passing traveller. Friendly and accommodating.

A perfect cozy cafe at St Nicks, love their mushroom and onion quesadillas, the chicken brioche and iced coffees. The staff is really sweet too.

Great student pub, gon on Thursdays for the best deals. Cozy and well lit.

Stopped for supper en route .. Great food and friendly venue .. fabulous roast inside a Yorkshire pudding !! I left my Jacket behind and they sent it to me in the post ! .. that’s really looking after your customers !! Couldn’t recommend enough .. Johnie

Staff are really friendly and caring. Coffee is nice. Can't beat there tiffin they are amazing.

Brought a pasty and a sausage roll which was came to just under £10 which I think I got over changed for and paid for the people in front of me as they did not check, the staff are not the happiest as they would not take cash the pasty was nice but overall they are not the biggest sizes for the price

I reserved a table at 12 midday for my family, 4 adults and two more very elderly people in wheelchairs. Complicated wheelchair access, and assigned table totally unsuitable. I had to move tables and chairs to get us in, noone came to assist me or apoligise. Next, no lemonade for a shandy. No cup of tea for my 104 Yr old uncle. Begrudgingly they brought one...not cost effective!!!! Then an hour fifteen minute wait for our food. We explained that we had a wheelchair taxi booked, which I had to change for a little later. Nothing. Other clients who arrived and ordered later had eaten and gone. Finally... the food was average and we did not have enough time for the oldies to eat. Requested Tartar sauce, never came and dirty plates not removed. Very poor and discriminatory service, total lack of empathy and care.

Well yet again not let down booked a table for Sunday Dinner Food was Amazing as usual and Plentiful Staff Excellent couldn't do enough for you first class service Steve the Barman was on form and had a good selection of Ciders on Sale and even offered a taste test Well it was a lovely afternoon and weather was glorious to sit in there garden after our meals Thanks Again and See You Soon All

Just popped in for a pizza and a few drinks with my partner—everything was cooked to perfection. Big shoutout to Oliver and Sam behind the bar who were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. If you haven’t been here yet, or it’s been a while, I highly recommend stopping by to see what it’s all about. You won’t be disappointed!

Great local fish and chip shop, excellent quality fish and chips.

Fabulous country pub with community feel. Large garden which hosts lovely events. The family funday on 3/5/2025 kicked off a birthday celebration with great live music & fun for the kids.

Visited recently for Lunch, very nice Food and friendly staff. However a recent Lunch had very tough Gammon Steaks and under cooked peas.

Fish and chips and a pint with a stonking view, before the crowds. Recommend.
