Had a lovely meal with a small party in the pavilion at the back. The bar for drinks beforehand is cosy and welcoming with a real fire. The food was excellent, olives to start, small plate faggot and a wonderful ginger pudding. Good wine, friendly and efficient service. Prices very reasonable for such good quality.

Perfect summer pub with an amazing garden and kid friendly area with views up to the hills. Never eaten here but really want to. Opening hours favour the weekend so check on timings if you visit early in the week. Good beer and cider selection and the place is a lovely mix of modern Vs ancient. This was our first visit to the Plough for some time, and we rediscovered it to be a good place to pop in for a midday meal The ambience is traditional and comfortable; stone slab floors, low beamed ceilings, shades of brown from light bege to old oak, rustic furniture augmented by sympathetic addition of new. The ancient fireplace contained evidence of being brought into operation on cold days/evenings. We were welcomed and our order promptly taken from a hearty menu. Our food was presented in an unfussy, but tidily, on white plates (a sure sign the chef wishes you to appreciate his/her oferings). On this occasion we declined a sweet, our main course had satisfied our older tummies. However the sweets looked seductive. After our meal we wandered the extensive garden with its covered areas, and to one side a fenced play area for children. We recommend The Plough without hesitation.

This is everything you want from a pub in the Cotswolds. Outdoor seating for the warm days, a comfy lounge bar/dining area, and 'the tap room' which (with minimal imagination) feels like you're in Tolkien's 'Prancing Pony' with it's beautiful wood paneling and open fire. We went for lunch with my in-laws (they are local, we are not). A really good selection of menu options from light bites to something more substantial (really reasonably priced and excellent variety). The Plough has a nice range of real ales and ciders (much to my delight) as well as the regular gassy lagers etc. The folk working there could not have been nicer. Really friendly and welcoming! Definitely going back again... and again!
