Great coffee, snacks and naughty but nice cakes
Seasonal changing guest coffees , great for trying something new on each visit and taking a bag home of your favourite
I want to like this place—but every time I've tried any of the events they organised, they turn up disappointing.
I tried a Stand-up Comedy event several months ago. I got tickets online from their page, including donation, and I came on time. No-one checked my ticket and it was crowded, no space to sit and enjoy. What was the point of the tickets then?
Today I wanted to try "Día de los Reyes", same situation as the previous event. I got tickets online with a donation, and again, it was busy and no space to sit.
The place is extremely small to host events, there are only 6 tables, and they shouldn't ask to book tickets if they have no control over how many people are coming.
Ya me cansé de probar a ver si puedo disfrutar de algunos de los eventos de este lugar, no creo que lo vuelva a intentar.
Visited yesteray with a group of friends. Each ordering a number of different things. The menu is varied and they have a very good selection of healthy options . Some of the group ordered the healthy breakfast which looked delicious. Some had cake and scones. Lovely friendly service from the staff, and yummy food. Would definitely recommend worth a visist.
We came in because it was pouring with rain, we were immediately welcomed so warmly that we dried off quickly. Only intended to have a hot drink but stayed for lunch. Teacakes, tuna mayo toastie, chorizo panino and salmon cream cheese bagel ordered and all were fantastic.
Would recommend to anyone visiting this lovely coastal village
Hidden gem! Visited on 1st January for a family walk with the dogs. Even though the weather wasn’t great they was open to serve up warm food and drinks for us to tuck into. Ordered 6 meals in total service was great and food was even better! All our family said how amazing quality and taste the food was and that they would love to go back again. Car park right behind the shack which is ideal for anyone to pick up and go or as we did sit in the car and watch over at the beach also a lovely walking area if you do have a a dog . Portions are are great too
Highly recommend
Great coffee and cakes. Really enjoyed the coffee, tasted so much better than the high street chains , good cakes too. Worth the queue, it was very popular but it was farmers market day .
Had lovely cake and hot drinks today
Mulled wine was one of the best I’ve had for miles and miles
Cakes lots of options really delicious and good value
Vegan options
Staff were mostly amazing one was quite moody and not very friendly but at the till we had a nice experience with the 2 ladies at the till they were lovely and helpful
We were in Offshore next door having a lovely lunch and then the kids noticed the smell of freshly made fudge! Wow. We had ice creams most days from here, and then bought a few bags of fudge to take home.
This is a traditional, independantly owned cafe which was welcoming and unpretentious. The menu was mainly fried food but my husband had a breakfast and my friend and I had a greek burger. It was all piping hot, good quality ingredients and a thoroughly enjoyable occasion. Reasonably priced and would ceratinly go again.

Delightful dinner at Salt and Samphire. A very nice restaurant run by a dedicated couple. We both had the Durban curry which was very flavorful and just on the right side of 🔥 ! Not too expensive with a good choice on the menu. I would say that the open kitchen is perhaps too open...if it could be screened a little more, I think customers might prefer it.
