Great coffee and cakes. Really enjoyed the coffee, tasted so much better than the high street chains , good cakes too. Worth the queue, it was very popular but it was farmers market day .

I have recently moved up to Scotland and I have been enjoying Crediton Coffee Companies fine roasted coffees for many years, always helpful, lovely people and such a nice place to visit having beautiful coffee aromas when you walk in. Yesterday I realised that I was nearly out of coffee and I telephoned them to place an order. A delightfully friendly process for ordering my coffee and once id paid my emailed invoice, it was posted promptly yesterday afternoon. Today the postman delivered my order up here in the highlands of Scotland, first thing this morning, less than 24 hours on a standard delivery. I can only say thank you so much to the team at Crediton Coffee for delivering such an exemplary and faultless service. five stars all the way.

Location perfect across from a market town square. Atmosphere is amazing at all times and staff incredibly friendly. Coffee is amazing giving me a proper kick for the day and always leave with a feel good feeling. Thank you guys and all more than well worth a coffee break 👍👍👏👏

I’ve bought my de caffeinated coffee beans here for some time now. It is the best decaffeinated coffee I have ever tasted. A huge plus was that my beans were delivered promptly during COVID 19 lock down so my husband and I didn’t have to go without.An excellent cafe, product and service. Thank you.

... but it could be so much better.We took a detour around Exeter to avoid the Xmas holiday traffic (unsuccessfully) when driving home from South Zeal and so decided to give this place a try. Our flat whites were pretty good, but served rather too hot and with foam that could have been denser, hence lending itself to some latte art, always a measure of the general 'care level'. A nice environment inside and I'd have normally awarded four stars but I did not really enjoy being 'entertained' by a very loud telephone conversation by the guy behind the counter about his drunken Xmas exploits.

Having lived in England (in London, Rugby, Birmingham, Exeter and Leamington Spa) Germany, India and Japan as well as the US, I class this cafe as the best of my experience of cafes anywhere. Freshly roasted and brewed on site its a pleasure to go in the cafe and just sit and read the paper or my book and drink truly good coffee. :-) Sometimes I meet friends and sometimes I'm there on my own.

Stumbled across Crediton Coffee Company today, and had the best coffee I've had in this country. Ever. Really friendly service too.

Good price for a coffee and salmon/cream cheese bagel. Friendly staff. Busy place on tues morn during school holidays. Limited menu for breakfast but what we did have hit the spot.

Brilliant coffee. The soup is homemade, the cakes lovely. Don t go anywhere else when you re in crediton. Dogs are welcome too.

This is an independent coffee company that roast it's beans onsite. The smell of fresh coffee and cake with a selection of gluten free options to die for! Other food is available. The staff are outstanding, friendly and have an in depth knowledge of coffee. You can by your beans in store and get them grounded while you wait. Forget the coffee chain shops and pop in for a quality coffee at very reasonable prices. Once you have visited, you'll be back.

This is in a very lovely location in Crediton and has a map of the world on one wall. I ordered filter coffee, but it had just run out, so I had an Americano (OK, but not a great fan of Americanos). The staff were excellent, and it was a lovely chilled atmosphere. Would go there again if I was in the area.

It is now a regular visit to collect our next 4 packs of freshly ground coffee. The coffee is freshly roasted so has not sat around for ages. The premises is friendly and a meeting place for coffee enthusiasts and is dog friendly

As someone who loves trying coffee shops (English and Dutch !! ;) .. this is a great venue for takeout or sit down and relax in a great atmosphere with the amazing aroma of roasting coffee .... so worth a visit TRY IT ! Super friendly staff just top it off !

Simply the best coffee in town by a mile, and if like me you have to reduce or knock the caffeine on the head in the afternoon, the black and herbal teas are great too. I haven't tried the cakes yet but they always look amazing.

Great coffee - independent and friendly - based on Market Square which is a pleasant location. Plenty of parking nearby.

This is a great discovery tucked away off the high street. The coffee was excellent - really smooth with a really rich flavour. It felt a bit like when you buy quality chocolate - really rich flavour where you savour the taste - so much nicer than the coffee you buying the main chains and I drink quite a lot from those on my travels. I'll definitely go there again. Added bonus is that they roast there own coffee on site which is probably why it was so good - you can buy bags of the roasted beans or as ground coffee - definitely the place to go if you are a coffee fan

Popped in while attending the farmers market to try a really relaxed atmosphere, great service and fantastic coffee. Loved it.

Visited for first time today and was disappointed to see their stock of hundreds of takeaway cups and lids stored in the loo - right next to the toilet. Granted they were in boxes, but if this increased risk of cross contamination is deemed acceptable I won’t be eating or drinking there again!

Really good coffee perfectly made, friendly service, limited seating but comfortable. Highly recommended if you want a good brew.

A fantastic establishment to unwind and have a decent cup of coffee, the best in Crediton IMO, we always take some home too, not had an instant coffee for months now, and wouldn't go back to it. Always welcoming, and they've even learnt to smile now, always a relaxed atmosphere, and the cakes are to die for too, forget Costa in Crediton, if you want a far better coffee then head to CCC you will not be disappointed!!

Love the coffee served here, often drive out of my way just to get a takeaway latte. My local village shop serves coffee from here too which is perfect for me. Just wish the large size was larger!

Nice community feel in this little coffee house. Really nice fresh coffee. Shame that Costa Coffee is in the town, hope it doesn't effect business!

The wife and I often go to the CCC. If you think that Co$+@ good, try CCC and you won't look back. Sorry CCC a 10 star rating is not available.

This place is great for a coffee - one of the best in town, definitely. However, it also sells a range of coffee beans that are very good quality. The service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere is sophisticated.

Lovely place for a fine coffee and relax to watch the world go by. Great choice of coffees and you can buy coffee beans or ground coffee too.

One of the best coffee's in Devon, a huge range to choose from. This would have received a 5 star but for the lack of welcome and smiles from this establishment, been here now 4 or 5 times, and yet to receive a welcome that makes you feel like you're a welcome customer, and for god's sake please smile. One thing those over-priced chain stores know how to do is to get their corporate puppets to smile a lot, so you need to up your game here, or you WILL lose custom to that over-priced chain store Costa coffee about to open in Crediton High Street, I would hate to see that sort of establishment pinch your custom!!

This place is so chilled and very welcoming! Staff are so polite and can't do enough, More importantly The Coffee is Amazing!

Lovely coffee if you don't mind waiting, and waiting, and then getting a very small coffee. Not enough room to swing a cat, so if you're taking your coffee away, be prepared to squeeze in amongst those already seated. If you're planning on being seated, good luck with that, and be prepared to have bottoms interfere with your line of sight.

Excellent coffee and friendly, attentive staff. This is my regular for grabbing a take away cup. Nice interior and always clean.

A must visit Coffee House with onsite roasting. The Coffee is like nothing tasted before, in a class of it's own. The combination of the smell of freashly roasted beans and fresh cakes makes for an ambience suitable to either work or relaxing. The staff are friendly and fully versed in the art of coffee. Taste it and then buy some to take home. Pricing is good value - Service first class - Facilities excellent

This is just a very wonderful place to come and chill out whilst reading through research papers on Subquantum Dynamics. The staff have been nothing but friendly. The quality of the tea has been exceptional. I would highly recommend it and am definitely coming back next time I'm in the area. Thanks guys! Dan, you are a real legend.

This coffee shop is a "must do" venue whenever we travel to Devon. Amazing coffee, rotated regularly and roasted on the premises, and friendly and knowledgeable staff. They now send coffee through the post to us regularly so we can have our Crediton Coffee Company experience even when we are at home in the South East. If you are a coffee lover and are in Mid Devon you should make a visit - it's a little drop of caffeinated heaven.

This is my favourite coffee stop, I sadly can't drink 'full fat' coffee and have to drink de-caff. In so many coffee shops this is a vastly inferior experience, but here in Crediton Coffee Company it tastes as good as real nice coffee. Well done guys! My OH drinks proper coffee and he enjoys our visits there a well. It is a really friendly atmosphere and I am really glad they are in town - thanks for the great de-caff!!

I love this place, it's a cool place to hang out with friends and it serves the best freshly roasted coffee in Devon! The unique feature of the roaster being in-store is great and it means you can buy a bag of coffee to take home!!

a nice place, comfortable, pricey but lovely smell of coffee. We would have liked an explanation about the coffee and had to ask, but it was fine and nice eats too.

We ordered a mocha latte, a cappuccino and two chocolate chip biscuits and were told to take a seat and it would be brought to us. The atmosphere is nice, although I personally could do without the tacky, unpleasant Halloween decorations, and the leather type sofas very comfortable. However when my coffee came a cappuccino it wasn't. There was a veriest hint of a froth on the surface the rest was just a white coffee. I commented on this when the lad brought the biscuits and he offered to make it again - I agreed but was dubious because basically if you can't froth the milk or haven't been taught how a cappuccino should be made it won't be much better the next time. However I agreed and the second one arrived much the same. The coffee tasted pleasant, was not bitter at all but not very strong. The mocha latte was similarly disappointing. We won't be going back - seven pounds something for a coffee (and biscuits) that I could make at home is just not on

What's this? Two great cappuccino's in two different places in the same week! I hadn't been back to this place for some time, probably because of achingly slow service on a couple of occasions a while ago. Went today with by two young daughters who enjoyed a tasty cookie and babychino each. My cappuccino was so good, well I had to have a second one...just to be sure of course.

Great coffee and knowledgeable baristas. You can relax amongst the coffee bean sacks and enjoy a punchy flat white whilst reading books about coffee and looking out on Crediton's new market square. Sells coffee and coffee making paraphernalia too. A good coffee experience up with the best of any urban chic.

The smell!! Such a delight to have one of the best flat whites surrounded by the smell of the very coffee we were drinking, being roasted. The barrister was friendly and helpful when we were choosing a roast to take home and guided us to the house blend which was really deep for a medium roast and deliciously complex. Would definitely visit again.

We go here when visiting our daughter in crediton they have a great range of coffee to drink in the cafe or to buy and take home.you are made to feel welcome and they have a great knowledge of coffee

It's all about the Coffee. The owner Dan (known as coffee dan) was extremely knowledgeable and super helpful when we chose our coffee....It was beautifully strong yet extremely smooth and creamy. We had the Mexican coffee. What I hadn't expecting was the fact that ALL the coffee is roasted on the premises. .. Amazing...

Consistently excellent coffee in a comfy relaxing environment. The beans are roasted in house. A world map even shows you where they've come from. This is coffee good enough for purists - no sprinkles on the cappuccinos here unless requested. Try the iced coffee, fab!

Great coffee and on my visit live music but not intrusive more complimentary , I didn't eat as only had time for a coffee but it all look Delicious and the roasting coffee on site was great theatre and fab aroma .

I've become a regular here. Love the double shot lattes with large syrup selection. There's cakes and salads, but it's the coffee and company I come for. Dan the owner is friendly and geeky. From in depth discussions about coffee to sci fi.

This is coffee for geeks! It's beautiful, with absolute attention to detail right the way through the process. The beans are roasted in the shop, ground, everything, and the owner has even been to the farms to meet the pickers. Nice place to sit too!

Tucked away in a side street in Crediton this little unassuming coffee shop serves superb coffee, a few eats but if coffee is your bag this is the place for you.

This is a bright airy café on Crediton’s elegant square. Friendly staff and it can be interesting when they are roasting the coffee. Comfy seats and magazines. Stopped here for a Latte and it was very good. Nicely made, just enough foam, not too hot with a good coffee hit on the first taste. Taste waned a bit on further sips but that may just reflect the roast they are using. Recommend!

The expected selection of coffee accompaniments too.Cookies, cakes and pastires available but not somewhere for lunch. Nice surroundings close to the square, well decorated. Amazing coffee shop situated in Creditons market square. Simple But elegant shop layout with a warm and cosy atmosphere.All the staff are friendly and know their stuff about the coffee they serve which is brilliant, compared to other cafes and coffee places in crediton where coffee is coffee to them. Great selection of coffees and amazing coffee products on sale to enhance your coffee experience at home. Well worth a visit.

They roast all the coffee on premises and the smell is divine. Wether your just popping in for a take out or just for a leisurely coffee the staff are always happy to advise on the coffees. It's nice to find local suppliers that have the knowledge of there products journey through to the end result.

Crediton Coffee Company import their own coffee and roast it on site. They make wonderful coffee that you can have in the cafe as well as a selection of cakes, pastries etc. Well worth a visit

Coffee selection is good and great to see a local coffee supplier other than mainstream types doing well. Only criticism is the lad that works there (think owners son possibly) was heard to say how he dislikes Londoners/non locals (didn't catch the context though) whilst queuing up to buy coffee! Being "not a true local" much like himself I felt a bit put off. Saying that coffee is great - keep up the quality and sort the boy out and you've got a wining combination maybe..

Hot chocolate to die for, brilliant prices and service. Friendly service would definitely recommend a visit. Lots of choice on the menu and the prices are so reasonable we visit on a daily basis

This is the best coffee shop we have ever been in. The smell that greats you at the door is fantastic. Their Danish pastries are to die for. We never visit Crediton without a trip to the Crediton Coffee Company. You can also take your dog in. Just brilliant.

Crediton Coffee Company has a few tables and the service is wonderful. Place your order and the barista will bring your drinks to the table. I'm not sure where the cakes and pastries are sourced, but they are the best quality around.Although CCC wasn't meant to be a coffee shop (it was set up just to roast the coffee), the success of it is great to see. Conveniently and prominently located in Creditons Market Square its a must have to me on every visit to the town.
