We use the little bakery at least once a week and have yet to have had a bad experience 2 breakfast (Eggs just right) including coffee for £10.50 served on hot plates, need to ask for hot milk with the coffee otherwise it's a bit cold. Could add a bit to the price to include lattes sure people would pay it

A lovely breakfast served by friendly and polite young girls. Enjoyed the food compliments to the chef! and the girls were so helpful nothing was too much trouble! However our breakfast out was ruined by the manager who I heard on several occasions moaning at one of the young girls, so unprofessional and unkind! She asked her a question, the girl replied and I heard her say “b...s...” not impressed with such bad language, and felt for the youngster who lets be honest is learning within the world of work! What a disgusting way to treat people and obviously unaware she could be heard! I would have made a complaint to the owner, if she would like to contact me I will talk it through, thank you Tracey Cullompton

This was my 2nd visit in a year and we stopped by for drinks only. We was served quickly and was told to settle bill at end and they would bring drinks over. The hot chocolate was very sweet, glad i didn't put sugar in. Cutlery was dirty too. The only downside was this cafe allows dogs, i know alot of people will disagree with me and thats fine but in an eating establishment dogs shouldnt be allowed in for hygiene reasons too. This was a massive let down when i saw a massive German shepherd next to my table. This has put me off and i wont be returning.

The Little Bakery in Cullompton is ‘A Little Treasure’. We were on our home from Devon on the M5 and stopped for petrol. Deciding we were all hungry for breakfast we found this on Google. It is only 4mins off the motorway, parking is easy just a minute away. We all had a hearty breakfast made just the way your Mum would make it! Food came out piping hot which is something you don’t often get these days. The coffee was also piping hot and so tasty we took takeaways with us too! Will definitely pop in next time we are near.

I had the absolute pleasure of finding this wonderful bakery and restaurant on a very rainy day in Cullompton. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful without hovering. The food is simply gorgeous and baked/cooked fresh daily. The quiche is out of this world. The portions incredibly generous and the prices very low, it's excellent value, in fact I would go so far as to say it's really cheap and worth of significantly higher prices. The carrot cake I had was lovely and the coffees great with cheap refills. The interior is simple, clean and comfortable and the decor is lively too. The cake & bakery or counter area where you can buy cakes, bread and sandwiches etc to take away looked smashing and really inviting. I can't recommend this wonderful bakery enough. Congratulations to the baker and thank you for such a pleasant experience.

We stopped here on wdnesday on our way through as was lunchtime we went in were greeted by a lovely lady who said she would be with as in 2 mins clearly she was by busy serving taking order making coffee ll by herself we sat down the lady got to us to take our order and was by unapologetic that we had had to wait we ordered our drinksan she went to make them while we looked though the menu . While looking though another lady came out from work assume was the kitchen as she had a chef like apron on which was rather dirty by this time another lady had come in an gone behind the counter an was taking o the other woman while the 1 lady was still rushing round she bought us our drinks 2x latte an a coke an apple juice I will admit the coffee was lovely but after seeing the woman who was obviously doing the cooking we decided not to eat as she clearly looked grubby an was not eating anything from there we drank our drinks an went to pay an we thanked the lady who served us as she clearly had work hard while we where there when we left we stood looking in an it really could do with a lick of paint an a good tidy up as there was clearly a lot of clute everywhere even all the nasty pits in windows looked like the had seen better days would we call ther again no we would not this place in ver much in need of a good overhaul

Popped in for lunch whilst working in the town. I was greeted warmly and since I was only after a light meal I chose the ham salad. Wow, what a plateful! It was the best ham I’d had in quite some time (clearly home-cooked) and was served with a hearty salad, boiled new potatoes, a hard-boiled egg and homemade coleslaw. Absolutely delicious, and the coffee was also great. What an absolute gem. It definitely won’t be my last visit!

This place is always value for money. The prices seem too cheap for what you get. On this oocasion it seemed a bit busy and the staff could have done better. 3 of us walked in and all the available tables needed clearing, so we just sat at one. There were crumbs all over the table, and left over cups of tea etc. I expected the table to be cleared when the waitress came over to take our order. But the mess was not even acknowledged. Once our drinks were served onto the dirty table, we had to ask the waitress to clear the mess. She gave the table a wipe around our drinks, and removed a mug of tea and a jug of milk. The other cup of tea remained at the table throughout our whole time there, it was probably still there when the next sitting ate their meal. We have been several times and will give it another chance, I just hope the waiting staff get some training, as 3 times they walked from our table empty handed when the least they could do is remove the previous customers rubbish. It was a bit hectic and the staff were rushing around. We were happy with the food but disappointed in the service on this occasion.

We had breakfast here on two mornings. A lovely Devon welcome from the staff. The menu is excellent with every combination of breakfast you could wish for. The homemade bread is delicious. Breakfast was freshly cooked for us on both days and of a high quality. Nothing was too much trouble. Lots of regulars on both days and that is always a good sign. Breakfast was not overpriced !!

We stopped for lunch in Cullompton and saw the dog friendly sign that is what drew us in. We chose gammon, egg and chips which was served with mushrooms, tomatoes and peas. Was nicely presented and of generous portion size. We also chose half a chicken salad meal, again well presented, generous portion size and came served with home made coleslaw. The food was cooked to order but not long to wait. The speciality coffees were also good. The staff were friendly without being obtrusive. The dog was made welcome, a fuss being made of and treats given. We used the customer toilets which was very clean and a fresh, fluffy towel provided to dry hands. All in all an excellent visit

We popped into The Little Bakery on Saturday morning for breakfast. We were not disappointed with the food. We both had the large breakfast which was really big for only £6 which included 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausages, sautéed potatoes (normally hash browns but they had run out), mushrooms, beans, toast and a pot of tea. An absolute bargain and so delicious. The bacon was proper thick cut bacon and cooked perfectly. A treat to be served it on really hot plates which kept the food warm whilst we tackled our way through it. We both left feeling very full.

This is a real gem in Dorchester. We love the coffee best in the area. The food is always excellent. The staff are very good always very helpful and service with a smile. Lovely place to meet up with friends and enjoy the lovely open space. Not sure why they were closed today Friday 5th August, but did hear that it might be closed for a while due to on going dispute. Be a real shame if it does close as it was a good find with excellent coffee.

Sunday roast wasn't great unfortunately. The beef was exceptionally chewy and when mentioned to the waiter the reply was something along the lines of "yes we know". Also the veg consisted of swede, carrot and cabbage which was quite uninspiring. Would expect more for £18.
