Lovely cosy little spot on the harbour front. Beer is Verdant so therefore excellent but wish we’d had stayed for food after a really tasty amuse bouche and being disappointed at the tapas place

I’ve ordered from here a couple of times now for takeaway and it’s spot on each time! The atmosphere is amazing and if I had time I would have ate inside. The locals often come here to enjoy the live music and the staff are very friendly. They also rent out the snug for guests to stay in so make sure to check it out.

Root champions vegetables in all their glorious beauty! Seasonal, local, fresh, imaginative dishes. Exactly how it should be, in exactly the way it should be...incidental! A friend and I sat outside one Autumn evening as the sun set, and worked our way through devouring dish after dish of bliss. Everything was divine. Inc the service! It is one of my favourite places I've ever eaten.

Fantastic atmosphere, lovely food, recommend the bubble and squeak, which was amazing. A quaint little eatery, but be prepared to queue unless you're happy to sit outside (with heaters) as it gets busy. Absolutely lovely place and a hidden gem in Yate.

This is a lovely little Thai restaurant serving very tasty and well presented food. It has a large choice on the menu and is particularly good for vegetarians and vegans. Most of the choices on offer were available without meat and with tofu. The food was obviously freshly cooked. The service was excellent and the staff attentive and helpful. It was very reasonably priced with a number of good value set meals on offer. I would highly recommend this place.

Did a tasting menu here. Very little atmosphere. Service was slow though place half empty. Half of the menu desperately needed salt, disappointing. Get the tasting menu at Wilson’s or bulrush instead- WAY better

My oh my, food prepared with absolute precision and served promptly. The food served was absolutely divine and faultless. Keep doing what you are doing perfection.

A first time visit to The Hood for us last night. We’ll definitely be going back. We were treated to some excellent locally produced food served in a lovely, friendly atmosphere. What really made our evening though was the bubbly, infectious personality of our server who felt like an old friend by the end of the evening.

After seeing The Chronicle in a local magazine (One Magazine), my friend and I went for dinner recently. Both of us had dietary requirements, which the staff were very attentive to and incredibly helpful. No question was too much for them, which made us both feel comfortable. It can be difficult to order food out when you need to consider things like gluten allergy, but the staff did an amazing job. Plus, the food was delicious! And the portions were huge - definitely worth every penny spent. Thank you!

If you have ever thought about experiencing the dining at Andria and perhaps felt a bit daunted or unsure....I can reassure you! Harry and the team make you feel very comfortable, you're in good hands. Service was impeccable, food was excellent. I chose to have three small plates and a side of salad. Each and every dish was beautiful, each mouthful bursting with flavours, tastes and textures. The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming. A firm favourite of those in our group who have been before, and now I can say the same.

Turned up for a breakfast roll and a brew, food was decent, service was good, friendly staff, decent place to go for a quick stop, motorcycle friendly cafe
