Lovely food, lovely staff! We got a takeaway baguette and salad, both of which were so tasty. The evening pizza menu looked fantastic too. The ingredients were all fresh and good quality. I’d Highly recommend!

Discovered this place on here when planning our hols and it was well worth a visit! We pre-booked our table for dinner and so glad we did! As we were sitting enjoying our pizzas, they sold out soon after. Selling out of your main menu item is surely a great testament as to the quality and popularity of this cosy little place. The couple running the deli are very friendly and on the ball. Going back for breakfast!

What a fantastic little deli/restaurant. We stopped by for a pizza , they were absolutely delicious . The best pizza I have had for years, cooked right in front of us. There aren't many tables but you can always get a takeaway and eat by the harbour . The staff were very friendly as well . They also sell homemade quiche, panninis etc. I definitely recommend it

Lovely We’ve been a few times for lunch and been blown away by how lovely this little place is. Its service is friendly and its super cute with only three tables but it gives a great atmosphere The soups are delicious the baguettes are the best and the quiches excellent Lovely local ingredients seem to rule ! We are going to try the pizza next although I think flatbread Friday is also a must by the looks of things! If we weren’t doing dry February we’d sample the excellent wine list!!!!

Came here for dinner and sat inside. Young people serving and they were great. Tiny place (two/three table). Drinks from the fridge. Pizzas were good but not great. Bases were a bit thick and firm (true pizzas have almost no base and are soft). Good value though and probably the best pizzas in Pothleven

This small cosy deli is well worth a visit. There are only two tables but you are able to book a table and pay a small deposit which we did. We ordered four different pizzas all of which were cooked to perfection and quite large. The deli is dog friendly & licensed so my better half & I could enjoy a glass of wine & Korev with our pizza. We will definitely visit again before the end of our holiday.

We came in first thing for breakfast and loved it here. It's very small and run by some really friendly people who were really accommodating and are dog friendly (even when my dog decides that he has to be vocal until someone pays him attention!). Had a couple of small things for breakfast, some great coffee and picked up a couple of gifts from the deli/shop (gin, coffee etc.). Overally a really lovely independant cafe, would definitely recommend.

There are only 3 tables so you’ve got to be lucky if you want to sit in. We were very lucky. The take away customers kept the staff busy but the dine in weren’t neglected. The food is all home made & is delicious. Yummy.

The Corner Deli is one of our favourite watering holes and the fact that we make a 30 mile round trip most days of the week to meet friends and enjoy tea, coffee and all manner of pastries, breakfasts, sandwiches and Pizza’s that are prepared to your preferences in toppings and cooked in the wood fired oven right in the Deli. They also do vegetarian/ vegan and gluten free food for those who require it. As for tea, coffee in all its various forms, and wines , they are a cut above the run of the mill stuff the we have sadly come to expect in everyday cafes and restaurants . Although the business is small in Stature, it is big in quality, cleanliness and value and the couple who run this small family business are friendly and eager to please. Having done the right thing in advising visitors to avail themselves of the delights of this little jewel, I just hope that we can still manage to enjoy our regular treats there !!

Called in but no tables so did a take away. Lovely coffee - though slow in the making - cheese scones disappointingly very mustardy. Fruit scones tasted subtly of chilli….

What a wonderful place with wonderful staff and pizza! We arrived to order takeaway pizza just a few minutes before closing time and the staff were more than accommodating to make and cook pizza for us - it felt like nothing was too much trouble. To top it all, the pizza was amazing: the garlic bread pizza with cheese has got to be the best we have ever eaten! Such welcoming and friendly staff and a real pleasure to visit.

This deli is great, it opens from 9am till 8pm most days. It is great for coffee, breakfast, lunch or dinner. There wood fired pizza’s are delicious, you can eat in or take out. The staff are very welcoming too. A really lovely place.

Following a long bike ride we were both pretty hungry and not disappointed with the takeaway pizza we had. Cooked in front of you. Able to pick and choose items. Very good value and great taste.

We popped in for lunch followed by the most delicious Bakewell Tart we've ever had. Served with clotted cream it couldn't be bettered and is highly recommended. Homemade coleslaw and homemade quiche was also very tasty.

I always have a sandwich, pastrami, gherkins, and cheese with mustard mayo when I go on holiday, its so delicious!! The staff are just so helpful and friendly. The chocolate brownies are to die for!

We came here today looking for a light lunch and a seat in the sun-both found! ☀️ I chose the homemade quiche/salad/coleslaw which was absolutely delicious and a great portion size. My partner had a baguette and again this came with salad and coleslaw. What made all the difference was how friendly the staff were!

Great service, great food. My only disappointment is that we didn't find this earlier in the week! We ordered food for our journey home and it was ready for 9am when they opened. We will definitely return next time we are in Porthleven.

You must seek out this hidden gem... Stopped for coffee and vegan flapjacks like I’ve never tasted (Oatmilk available)... it was soo good we came back in the evening for pizza, freshly made in a clay oven in front of us. Really friendly staff.

As a regular visitors to Porthleven we always make a visit to the Deli our first stop...and wow it just gets better and better...from the freshly cooked quiches, to the best pizza in town...and the Pork rolls are something else.

We popped in here for hot drinks and cakes and found the most lively place. Only a small seating area, but it was so cosy and comfortable. The Pizza oven was just getting to temperature and the Pizza menu sounded divine.We had hot chocs, flat white and tea all good as where the scones and cakes. Better still we brought lots of delicious goodies for Christmas hampers.

We recently had a week long holiday in porthleven and we called in to the deli on several different days having snacks and a take away pizza but we also called in for dinner, our interactions with the deli were short until we had dinner on our last day and the owners were on shift at that time.There were 5 of us including 2 young children and they could not of been more accommodating the children wanted their ginger bread stars which were delicious by the way but they had run out so they then set to making fresh cookies for the girls whilst serving our dinner, they both spent the time talking to us explaining how they came to be there and telling us about their family.They made us all feel so welcome and left us full and extremely satisfied with our food and service, this is one of the best eaterys in porthleven and is exactly what I would hope to find in a lovely corning village .I recommend this place to anyone it is a great place to eat with hosts to match we will be back

Just finished a week in Porthleven, and used the Deli nearly every day.. the food is all freshly made, and is outstanding...Try the pizzas in the evening...you won’t be disappointed, but order your pizza during the day or you could be disappointed they do sell out...

During our holiday we’ve eaten lunch in, had takeaway pizza and had a few take out lunches. All have been excellent.

Absolutely delicious! Delicious dough, crispy and great selection of toppings. They gave us a 45 min wait for the order as they were very busy, but they were pretty accurate with their timings so we had time to clear space in the tent ready for a delicious feast. I particularly recommend the Tuna, capers and anchovies pizza! Very good, will visit again!

We ordered baguettes here two days in a row as they were delicious! Friendly staff who were happy to make up the baguettes first thing and wrap them for our day trip kayaking. Would recommend the Cornish blue and pear!

Sadly this has gone downHill. We have had pizzas last year from here and very nice. I had a 3 meat pizza from here Recently and the meat was minuscule and all you could taste was bland cheese on top. The bases seemed to be different too.

And from an Italian , appreciation and compliments about the pizza count twice! Very good the service and acceptable the price, too.

Lovely service - helped my daughter to choose her pizza. We ordered three pizzas which were delightful and the service was quick and friendly. Everywhere else in Porthleven was closing but this deli was still serving - brilliant!

We have been coming down to Porthleven for years, and since the corner deli has started doing takeaway pizza, this is one of our must do's every visit now.I popped in with my son this time on the Friday afternoon and grabbed a couple of pizzas for the family dinner. As ever, superb - my son chose one with chorizo and fresh basil on which was really tasty and my wife and I had the good old fashioned ham and pineapple (yes it belongs on pizza).Can't fault it. Good value and really tasty fresh food. Nice people in there to boot.

Popped in with the family for a very quick takeaway lunch and had two tuna baguettes, a sausage roll and a bacon Brie and cranberry panini. The food was delicious, we really appreciated the unexpected side salad. The owners were also very friendly, definitely worth a visit!

What a little gem of a place this is.My husband, myself and our dog went in and the place was quite busy, but the lady sorted us a table.We chose a pizza each,which was made in front of us and then put directly into the pizza oven, you cannot get fresher than that, it was absolutely delicious.Will definitely visit again, when we're next in Porthleven.

Wow the cake! Very generous and lady said she usually cuts the cake into 6 but this time 8 and still very generous portions. Great selection for a lunch time snack and if ever in area again will sure to be back.

Cozy, dog friendly little place with very friendly owners. Very attentive to us and our dog. Amazing scones, the best I've ever had. Lots of local produce to buy as well. Well worth a visit if you're in the area. Thank you for the tea bags, very kind of you. They make a fabulous brew.

Love this little cafe and deli and always pop in for lunch when visiting Porthleven, friendly and welcoming whatever the weather! Delicious tuna, cheese, onion toasted panini with a very generous side salad, the coleslaw is really good. BLT baguette with the same side, also very good. The soups are served with a decent chunk of bread and generally good value. Service is quick and efficient. The pizza oven which is actually in the cafe next to the seating was being lit at 2pm ready for later, we haven’t tried the pizzas yet but we will!!

I only popped in to buy a couple of Portuguese pastries! Not only did I come out with them, but also the best mince pies I ever tasted and some amazing olives but also I came out feeling like I had made new friends. I loved the people who are putting their heart and soul I to this lovely business and creating something really special I. Porthleven. We only visit once a year for Christmas but I will be down there the day we arrive next year to stock up on goodies and stay for lunch.

We slopped in soaking wet and covered in mud from walking the coast path and the cafe owners were still really welcoming. Food is all home-cooked and totally delicious. I’m very fussy about pasties - and the pasty passed my test (absolutely no carrots, proper chunks of steak)! My husband had the black pudding scotch egg which he loved. Everyone seemed to be ordering the pulled pork and raving about that. Next time! The marmalade sponge cake was good too!

This deli offers fresh baked cakes, bread, Melas and amazing pizzas.It supplies many Cornish made products.The prices are very reasonable and they offer interesting, mouth watering alternative sandwich, panni etc fillings.Although it has only 4 seating arrangements they are willing to alter them to accommodate all sizes of groups. They offer comfortable cushions and blankets for customers.It is well worth a visit and the range of drinks and excellent coffee. They are so welcoming and passionate about their food and customers and are a refreshing change from the many cafe's in the village.
