This restaurant is in a brilliant location with easily the best views in Falmouth. The deck looks out over the water and is the perfect spot to watch the boats and paddle boards go by! The service was top notch and was genuine, not having to wait long for drinks or food. We had the chicken burger and the fish finger sandwich, both were really yummy! We also tried the salt baked celeriac and could easily have eat a large portion of this, definitely worth trying! I’d recommend this place just for a coffee, to enjoy the view, but it’s a fab spot for lunch and I’d imagine a great place for an evening meal too!

This fine establishment on the seaside is an absolute MUST! We went for a farewell brunch and was greeted by the smoothest host, who informed us of some irresistible options. The Breakfast Combo option has to be the UK's finest. All the food was exceptional, tasty, the coffee brew was smooth and the cocktail added a little more flare (non-alcoholic variations too). All the staff were great, there hasn't been a more deserving and yet effortless (due to smooth operations) 5* in Google 👏🏾 Could have happily missed our train back to London 😉

We had a lovely evening meal. We had scallops to start followed by Pollock which was the fish of the day. Everything was fresh and very well cooked. The portion sizes were just right, not tiny. We did order a portion of fries which were delicious. The girl serving us was friendly, knowledgeable and seemed genuinely interested. Will definitely come again.

We have lunch here regularly. We thought the menu look interesting so dined at their special Italian evening. The food was outstanding we had fish, pasta and a vegetarian dish, all delicious. Rounded off with a lemon tart so fine it would have been at home at an upmarket Parisian patisserie. Superb food service and atmosphere. We have seen some reviews questioning speed of service, I would say if you want quick food go to McDonald’s, if you want perfectly cooked fresh local produce that tastes delicious, come here, it was very busy Friday but we were served in good time.

A 5 star eating and dining experience from start to finish. We were staying locally at St Michaels resort looking for a place to eat other than on the resort itself. We saw the website which looked great, so it made the shortlist. We didn’t realise Indidog was so close to the parking, so we jumped out the car almost straight in the door, so popped in to see if they had spare tables. We were greeted by Alex, who immediately made us feel welcome and provided us with everything we needed to know about specials etc (which not only sounded delicious, actually were!) and we were served by Will throughout the evening. This is where it goes from good to great. The food is truly amazing and needs to be tried to be believed. 1 of uf is coeliac, which can always be a gamble when eating out. We needn’t have worried. There were plenty of highly tasty options available and Will was extremely good at putting our minds at ease. We do like to try out cocktails and mocktails. Tonight was a non-drinking night, so it was mocktails. Not only were they delicious, they weren’t overpriced and were cheaper than their alcoholic siblings, which if so often not the case. We were super impressed from start to finish. The staff we amazing, the food truly delicious and the drinks tasty. What’s not to love? We will definitely be back. This is 1 not to miss!

Used to be our family favourite restaurant, and we had celebrated many special occasions there. But a bit disappointed with our recent encounter. We had a celebration there on December 31, but we are not sure if the £150 deposit was deducted from the final bill.We have been requesting for a copy of our receipt for a few weeks now, and my husband is still waiting for their return call. We are quite surprised by the lack of urgency in addressing this issue. Anyway, we will try to call them again tmr, hopefully they will have an answer.

The food was excellent and service attentive. We had a 5 hour journey down to falmouth and couldn't make our original dining plans, so we're all feeling bit deflated. The welcome we we received set the tone for our meal. We had scallops and the crab to start, which were both excellent, followed by catch of the day and the fish special. The guy who claimed to be the owner (Simon) was so rude to me and my wife, on arrival Simon said there was no drinks left and the restaurant was full. So we waited in the entrance area, and my wife walks over to the bar to get a drink, which offended Simon as we didn’t wait until after being seated to get drinks. However when he reluctantly gave us a table Simon got angry at my wife for standing up while listening to then clapping for the live music that was being performed at that time. After about 35-40 minutes we tried ordering another drink Simon didn’t allow us to order, saying “it was too close 6pm when people who booked tables were coming” Then he asked us to leave about 50 minutes after sitting down because we hadn’t booked a table, then we saw some people we knew on one of the tables across from us, the told us that they hadn’t booked, but they weren’t being asked to leave of being spoken to rudely! Why the double standard, probably because my wife is Asian, my daughter is mixed and Simon is Racist!!!!!! Sadly this is the only logical conclusion.

We had the most fabulous festive afternoon, we wanted to say a massive thanks to the whole Indidog team who worked so incredibly hard trying their best to fit in the number of people who wanted to enjoy the vibe and hear the fabulous Falmouth Gospel Choir. As soon as we saw that you were holding this event we booked a table to eat for mid afternoon. The Festive Menu was absolutely gorgeous, one of the best eating out Christmas Turkey meals we have had. Even though it was super busy the whole team worked their socks off, weaving through the people with drinks and a smile. We were sat directly behind the couple who have just posted a review and we wanted to share our experience. We were in the restaurant from 2.30 and as it started to fill up people were allowed to stand in certain places and as soon as tables were available they were, in turn, directed to a seat. The couple in front of of us were seated and the lady decided to stand, for a lot of the time she was stood directly in front of our table which meant that my elderly mum couldn’t see anything. We chose not to say anything as we wanted to focus on the lovely music and vibe. To our right was a large table of people and we heard Simon explain that they would need to vacate the table as it was booked from 6.00. The waitress also explained this to us when we ordered our last round of drinks. We could hear Simon explaining to the couple in front of us that the table was booked from 6.00, and this is why no more orders etc could be taken, we heard the whole conversation and it was clear that despite the perfectly reasonable explanation the lady was not at all happy with what she was hearing. It was really sad as it was the Choirs last song and the theme was all about peace and understanding. I wanted to share this perspective as I feel the purpose of a review is to share what you experienced and what I saw was a team working incredibly hard to accommodate as many people as they could whilst balancing the needs of customers that have booked for the evening service.

Beautiful setting with a friendly service & atmosphere…. Placing an order was a little delayed but to be I guess expected this time of year and in a Sunday There was a slight down side although the meal was nice I found (both myself & partner and also witnessed from other tables) that maybe the cutlery more specific the knives weren’t adequate and rather blunt, we fund ourselves having to break Yorkshire puddings and pull the beef apart into bite sizes pieces rather than cut …. As I say I wasn’t the only one and made for at times awkward moments hoping that the found didn’t jump off the plate… please take this as constructive review for a better experience for all Merry Christmas

Nice restaurant with great views. Friendly service. Sunday lunch was decent enough, bit tight on the veg and potatoes for two people, especially for the price and quite cheeky to charge for condiments like horseradish which most restaurants (in Cornwall anyway) provide as part of your Sunday lunch meal without charge. Overall taste of the food was good, not amazing, sadly.

We went twice to Indigo for dinner and the restaurant has an enviable position right on the waterside in Falmouth. The food on our first visit was superb (I had hake which topped a delicious risotto. Sadly on our second visit I chose the duck which was the most expensive item on the menu, but it was served in thick pieces and I couldn't get the knife to cut through it. I handed two of my pieces to my son and husband who reported that it was quite chewy. Just such a disappointment. For me it would have been better served in thinner slices with a few more exciting vegetables as the turnips were a bit boring. Apologies for these negative comments as we found the staff very professional and welcoming.

I had high hopes for this restaurant, given its glowing reviews and beautiful harbourside setting, but unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the expectations. The service was a highlight—our servers were friendly, polite, and the attention to detail in the decor and ambiance was impressive. However, the quality of the food left much to be desired. When my partner asked about the side dishes, specifically the aioli fries, the server reassured us that "all the mains are complete meals." At £28 for the duck, that seemed reasonable. However, after a lengthy wait (though understandable with the large number of covers and only four staff visible in the kitchen), what arrived didn’t feel like a complete meal. The dish consisted of just a few small cubes of turnip, a wilted vegetable, and three thin slices of duck, with no substantial carb element. While the presentation was visually appealing, the flavor was underwhelming. The hoisin sauce was the one bright spot, but the dish leaned heavily on it to compensate for the blandness of everything else. Frankly, I’ve had far better duck dishes at local pubs for a fraction of the price. My partner’s fish of the day was similarly bland and uninspiring, which prompted us to skip dessert altogether and leave. I can honestly say it was one of the least memorable meals I've had in Falmouth, especially when compared to the excellent offerings from places like Star & Garter, Restaurant MINE and Windjammer. That said, the restaurant’s positive reviews suggest many people have had a better experience than we did. Perhaps it’s an unfair comparison as we recently dined at the Ugly Butterfly, which set a much higher bar.

We are local customers. The quality of food is good. Sides are essential. We do not need to be hassled through our evening having paid a deposit regarding our time slot. We are paying London prices in a local eatery. Plus point Verdant on tap.

We visited for Sunday lunch and had a lovely time. One of the best settings / views in Falmouth. Very much dog friendly. I had the scallops and they were delicious. My son has the burger and it was really tasty. Wife and father had fish of the day - Haddock and really enjoyed it. The only down point was that neither the burger or fish of the day came with chips or veg and in isolation the portions were a little mean. We order a side of skin on chips, which were generous , delicious and filled the void. The steaks looked absolute delicious and it was great to be able to see the chef team working hard to prepare from scratch. Waiting team were great with the kids.

Excellent staff, view and atmosphere. We have had three great experiences at this restaurant and the variety of menu options is very good, paired with good wine and a great vibe. Book early or be disappointed.

Excellent but very noisy acoustic. Consider a few installations to absorb noise?

If you’re in Falmouth this is a must go. They had a marmite hake special and it was phenomenal. Everything on the menu was amazing. Definitely give this place a go

Restored my faith in pasties! After a couple of letdowns elsewhere, this place got it right. Fresh, hot, and full of flavour—exactly what you want on a chilly day. The sausage roll was good quality too. Prices are fair (£4.25 for a pasty, £4 for a sausage roll), and with the beach just a minute away, it’s an ideal snack stop. Everyone was ready to go back for more—always a good sign!

I popped into the Polgooth Inn after looking for a dog friendly bar. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service was friendly. I ordered the BBQ brisket burnt ends, which were served with salad, corn on the cob, and skin on fries. Everything was cooked well, and the burnt ends were melt in the mouth. The pub was busy as I left, so it appears to be a popular venue, even on a Monday evening. Delicious food, good service, so I'd happily recommend the Polgooth Inn.
