Meram Kitchen in Christchurch

An excellent place. Staff most welcoming. Meals freshly prepared for you. Generous portions, promptly served and reasonably priced. I had sucuk, followed by Meram liver. Both great dishes. Gorgeous Turkish bread came free, as did a whole array of "complimentary starters." Shall certainly return asap - I shall be back in Christchurch next month! This is a very pleasing addition to the town's eateries. Well done to this enterprising, industrious family.

Very friendly staff. The food was delicious and would love to return to taste the vast menu. It was made more special when we realised it was a family business.

Absolutely brilliant restaurant with excellent Turkish food, exemplary service, great decor and venue, lovely family atmosphere and real Turkish music. We are regular diners at Turkish restaurants particularly when we lived in London and have to say that none could match our experience at Meram Kitchen. Could not recommend more highly and big shout out to Veli who was a fantastic host telling us about his family business.

We visited on a Friday night. The service was friendly and engaging from the start. Sucuk and humus starters were tasty and a decent size. We all then shared a meat platter which was also large and tasted good. The standout of the evening was the variety of dips brought to the table, all were full of zingy flavour. A decent spot of dinner in Christchurch .

Meram Kitchen is a fantastic addition to Christchurch!Have been several times and it never fails to impress! The food is fantastic and the staff are lovely! The homemade baklava is also well worth a try! Excellent all round!

Both my wife and I had a madly busy day at work and neither of us fancied cooking dinner. Been wanting to dine at Meram Kitchen since we saw it being fitted out. We finally got to try it out and wow, just wow!! Incredible food with such a vast array of Turkish flavours, awesome service and a lovely chat with a couple of the family members. Congratulations MK Family on an amazing triumph. Brilliant quality, more than ample servings and very reasonably priced. Love it!!! 🥰👏🏼

Two of us went here for a latish lunch. The restaurant is obviously popular with all ages, doubtless due to the lovely meats, salad and incredibly tasty dips. The service is good and happily unobtrusive and, a nice surprise, no service charge is added to the bill (we happily tipped anyway). The bill was just under £50, which included a beer and a rather nice Merlot. We will return!

Our first visit here after it was recommended and it didn't disappoint at all. The food was good and the service was absolutely fantastic, and it's a really good place for a family get together or social event. All in all a great place, who do go out of their way to make your visit enjoyable.

Excellent food and service. Authentic Turkish food. Large portions and good value. We had some hot meze to start with the salad and cold meze that was included with our shared main course, mixed grill.

1st time I have had Turkish food & was not disappointed, tasty, fresh, flavoursome & loads of it. Good quality nosh. On reflection, I should have ordered less though, as I was struggling 2 eat it all, but this was a good thing. Well worth a visit. enjoy. :-)

our first visit to Christchurch for many months and we stumbled on this superb Turkish restaurant and were in the mood to try something other than curry or the Boathouse!! . They have a great range on the menu, extremely attentive and friendly staff, we were late in so it was quite empty so can’t really comment on the atmosphere. The food grilled with charcoal was amazing. Normally avoid anything lamb despite it being a favourite as I normally expect it to be chewy and fatty. It was neither and very tender. I had the mixed chicken/lamb kebabs with lovely side salad and some tremendous dips with pitta. My only comment would be that the rice was not my favourite. Bulgar would be nice. I thought it was also excellent value for money. Will be heading there again next time we are down
