Blues in Christchurch

We had a very disappointing meal today (contrary to all takeaways we ordered from this place) . May I say... the person who took our order over the phone was very nice, handled the complaint very professionally. They forgot to add the kids' meals, and all the chips were so over fried that the inside was empty. Take this as constructive criticism. Don't do it... you will push customers away... Take the wastage, and don't give those overly cooked chips to customers.

I was really hoping the food was gonna be as good as the ladies personality who took our order, unfortunately it wasn’t , we ordered a cheeseburger which can only be described like cardboard thin, and a Crispy chicken burger which more like grilled chicken, both the buns where slightly burnt, cheesy chips we like warm , and we got the wrong drinks, and we waited 1hr 10 mins for delivery,

They are brilliant. Food is amazing. Service is just fantastic. They are quick to correct things if they go wrong. They are so good I would nominate them to run the council and even the government.

Best burgers around imo and the nicest people running the place. I can vouch for the burgers, pizza and kebabs, all served with a smile and made fresh.

Vegan burger. No salad, sauce, cheese, nothing (or option to add anything at the time of ordering). £5.75, enough said.

Had the best chicken burger of my life here - delivery was decent and food still piping hot. Cans were still chilled! I had the Hawaiian chicken burger with onion rings - oh my - it was incredible!!!!

Our 2nd time ordering a delivery from Blues. Food always comes hot and is good quality. Not the closet of this type of takeaway to us but will always choose this one as is far superior. Highly recommended!!!!

Lovelly food. Very good for the money. All freshly made. Had two orders and will definitely get more. Good delivery time and Mat ( driver ) very nice and polite.

Unfortunately, recently they have lost their way. Woman on the phone was very rude when confronted about how long my order was going to be after already making a call to be told my order will be 1hr to 1hr15 to then be hung up on. Making it out like you’re doing me a favour because I ask for an alternative to your cheap wholesale chips. I have been a loyal customer from over 3 years using them twice a week sometimes and this was absolutely disgusting behaviour from the woman(first time I’ve ever spoken to her). Remember the customer is paying you, not you paying us. Very disappointed in the service and will not be using again.

Me and my daughter thought we would try somewhere new tonight for dinner, I am so glad we did as the food was so good, the woman in the shop is really lovely and very helpful, we will definitely be going back!

Always good food and good sized portions

I've ordered their burgers a couple of times and they are AMAZING! Proper gourmet burgers, not like MacDonalds or Burger King who seem to use less quality ingredients. Blues will give you a burger with great meat, fresh buns and salad and great tasting sauces. Very clean shop, nice staff. They serve the sort of food in a takeaway that you'd pay a fortune for in one of those so-called trendy gourmet pubs!

Lovely wraps and staff are so lovely to the point the owner came to the train station to hand deliver the ketchup pot I was missing, definitely reccomend x

We have had blues a few times now and they never seem to disappoint! Very tasty fresh burgers, none of the usual processed thin type you get from most takeaways. and tonight we tried the pizza base garlic bread for the first time & so glad we did! It’s the best garlic bread we’ve had!very tasty and moist! Not the bog standard dry overdone baguette slices you get from others!Definitely worth the price! Definitely value for money! This is definitely the best takeaway for burgers etc in the area!

Good menu choices. Polite, respectful, professional & lovely staff. Clean & tidy shop. Very reasonable pricing. Most of all, delicious food!! We won't be going anywhere else now we've found Blues.

This is a new business to Christchurch, Jen the owner always makes you feel welcomed as for the food it's gorgeous home made burgers and the ribs are a must try waiting to try the pulled pork burgers

One of the most disgusting takeaways Ive ever had. The pictures on just eat are clearly pulled from the Internet and do not depict the actual food served. They have a high rating on just eat, clearly must be fake reviews.

Just ordered via just eat - food was ok - was slightly cold. Be prepared to have cash on you for the delivery driver as he demands a ‘delivery fee’ at the door even though it states free delivery on the app!

Ordered a chicken burger with bacon, burger sauce and salad... Got a tough chicken breast in a bun, with cheap bacon bits that are either mostly fat or are so hard they cut your mouth. The burger sauce and salad are nowhere to be seen. The meal deal also didn't come with a drink and some of the jalapeño bites didn't have cream cheese in them. Very, very disappointed and won't be ordering from them ever again! Especially as the delivery guy was so friendly and smiley... Not!

10/10 takeaway. Fab service from the owner and staff. Recommend homemade pulled pulled pork or there homemade burgers will definitely use again and highly recommend a go
