Lovely food, really friendly staff 👌

We’ve only ever had a takeaway, but even so I happily give C&B a 10/10! Always delicious and fresh tasting chicken 😊 milkshakes are amazing too!

Visited for the first time as a little life celebration. Cost feel to the place and the staff were efficient and friendly. Importantly, the menu is good and the chicken even better. Sauces are great and my wrap was stuffed full of chicken and Mac cheese. Delicious! Well done and we will definitely visit again or maybe a cheeky take away!

Chicken & Blue's was the only empty restaurant in Christchurch today, however we really did like the look of the menu & decided to give ot a try. Unfortunately, today the staff let the restaurant down, we stood by the counter waiting to be seated for about 5 minutes. The staff members were huddled by the serving hatch ( to the kitchen) all on their mobile phones. So we gave up & walked out... Another couple walked in to order a takeaway, we watched as they stood at the counter without any service available. Its really horrible to see the staff ruin what could potentially be a cracking restaurant 😕

Disappointing, had their amazing skin on fries and chicken tenders at New Forest Food Festival so decided to visit premises with family. Three of us ordered skin on fries but the skin was missing and when I mentioned it to the server, he said 'oh yeah sorry we got these new ones in this morning', see photo, they looked and tasted like oven chips, also my eldest son went to order a half chicken but they'd run out. I also put my hand down on the vinyl bench seat and got covered in something nasty and sticky so I told a different server and the reply was 'oh it needs a deep clean then', the bench gaps were filled with dust or crumbs see attached photo. I don't like complaining, I rarely do but why can they get it spot on at busy food festival but sooo wrong on quiet Sunday evening? On the bright side I recommend their Chipotle or honey & mustard dips and the chicken tenders were good

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The original wrap was gorgeous, the milkshakes were fabulous, and as somebody who doesn't like bulky, chunky milkshakes, the milkshakes here were deliciously smooth. I would totally recommend coming here. It is very friendly. Very inviting, I wish there was one nearer to wear I live!! Service was also incredible! ❤️

I used to LOVE chicken and blues it was by far my favourite restaurant in the area, I used it weekly and have done since the OG days in Boscombe high street, moved to Christchurch 3 years ago and was very happy to hear they’ve extended over this way over the last 12 months. HOWEVER. How things have changed. 1. 3 times I’ve returned food for being undercooked (not chicken) but not the point, 2. I’ve had missing food in orders. 3. They raised the prices but the service since then has decreased, the staff bar 1 individual (a male who’s always as helpful as possible!) do not care for service and don’t look like they want to be in place, the food standards have 100% decreased. 4. THE FINAL STRAW - I purchased a Too good to go, checked the app prior to leaving my house (IN MUDEFORD 10 minutes away) - no issues I drive down, wait outside until 21:15, go in and open the app “order cancelled” - they cancelled it between leaving the house and my arrival - the woman confused said no they are on here but they are for someone else.. I then said can I buy food then “yes” but you cancelled my order which I waited for.. I’ve been a very repeat customer for I’d say a good 10 years. NEVER AGAIN WILL ORDER FROM YOU.

Great place for a quick lunch. Variety of food is good and the service is efficient. You have a choice between sitting inside and out. We had the original chicken wrap and the Mac Daddy - both equally prepared well, full of flavour. We went for the chipotle sauce. And the chips also deserve a mention.

Food was incredible and so filling. I recommend the mcdaddy wrap! It came with macaroni cheese inside and was a very nice addition. Very good value for money and I will definitely be returning!

My go to for a quick lunch. Always go for one of the wraps. Nice big portions, no skimping out on fillers.

Had fantastic service from Dave today, such a pleasant attentive gentleman with a great sense of humour. So sorry to hear he is leaving , such an asset to chicken and blues. This is our second time here and I highly recommend. The sauces are flavoursome, the chips are gorgeous and the chicken divine. Oh, and if you like good jazz music, you're in for a treat. We can't wait to return in June

We went here Saturday evening, the service was ok the food however was really disappointing after reading the reviews we were expecting something much better than what can only be describe as plain grilled chicken definitely would not go back there we’ve had far tastier meals for half the cost from KFC. The fries were returned as they were stone cold.

My wife and I recently visited Chicken and Blues in Christchurch, eager to indulge in what we expected to be a delightful chicken-centric culinary experience. However, our anticipation turned to disappointment as we sampled their chicken wraps. The most disappointing aspect was the chicken itself. We had envisioned succulent, flavorful meat, but what we got was a little dry and lacklustre. This was a significant letdown for a restaurant that prides itself on its chicken dishes. Despite the passable filter coffee and reasonably helpful staff, the lack of quality in the main dish cast a shadow over the experience. Despite these shortcomings, we decided to give four out of five stars. The acceptable coffee and decent service saved the rating from being lower. However, our visit left us craving for a more satisfying and mouthwatering experience. In essence, Chicken and Blues felt like a fast food joint trying to pass off as a restaurant, and that was disappointing.

Fab, friendly staff, great food and lovely atmosphere

We came in on Easter Sunday afternoon and our first time here and not sure what to expect. We were more than pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Between us, we had the BBQ thighs, vegetarian wrap and southern fried chicken wrap. Great meals. The sides were actually really good too. The broccoli was fresh and smokey and the sweet potato fries definitely recommended. Lovely, friendly staff. Clearly popular in the area judging by the steam of delivery pickups. And loved the blues music (and the wall papering in the loo too!)

Great food with hearty portions! Service was quick, and all staff were very friendly. Put 4 stars as the Mac and cheese bites were disappointing. Other than that, couldn’t fault it!

Amazing food as always and arrived quickly, our server Max was very lovely and helpful. Would definitely come back!

The guy with pierced nose was very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, especially as I was on crutches it did make a difference. We had wraps which were deep filled and very plumped. Freshly fried fries and side Caesar salad were good too. Overall a great lunch experience in the heart of Christchurch.

2nd time eating here and this visit was as good as the 1st. Food was awesome all cooked to perfection very tasty. Atmosphere was good, both visits the restaurant was almost full. We sat outside on our 2nd visit which was great. Everything was clean. Using the app to order food seemed to work well and we also had a voucher which was easily redeemable. We over ordered just because everything is so yummy so we took a doggy bag home. On to the service.. our server was Dave and feel he deserves some recognition, he was very pleasant and couldn't do enough for us. Well done Dave a credit to the C&B team. We were seated straight away, our food arrived very quickly and was delicious. I had a strawberry milkshake which was probably the best I've ever had and the churros for pudding were lovely too. I can't fault anything about the place. It was very quiet for a Saturday night though, which was a shame as it was so good.

These guys produce the best chicken in the South! The wraps are amazing, and do buy the sweet potato fries. You will not regret it!

Good options on menu. Foot reasonably good, bland wrap. Very poor service - 2 servers stood around doing nothing, took 30 minutes to clear our plates then longer to pay.

Family takeaway for birthday for 6 people.Everyone enjoyed their meal.Chicken wings were lovely and everyone love the waffle fries.

Having recently transitioned from ordering on Deliveroo to dining inside Chicken & Blues in Christchurch, I can’t praise the experience enough. From the warm welcome to the friendly farewell, the service was consistently superb. 🤗 The food at Chicken & Blues is undeniably incredible, especially the BBQ chicken wings – a personal favourite! 🍗 The BBQ sauce is unmatched; it surpasses any I’ve tried in America. The infusion of “mumma’s home cookin’” into their dishes is simply amazing. 🏡 Whether you choose the original or southern fried chicken wraps, wishing each bite would never end. Chicken & Blues in Christchurch comes highly recommended – every penny spent is truly worthwhile. 💰

I've been going to the new C&B's at Christchurch since it established and the food has always been amazing whether you eat in or take out! The staff are all really friendly and the customer service is excellent if a (rare) mistake is made.

Really friendly reception on arrival. Lovely atmosphere. Then the food.....omg the food was absolutely delicious. I had the thighs with blue cheese sauce. Hubby had the southern fried chicken wrap. Every last bite was well cooked and perfect. Neither of us managed to finish but we got a carry out box (hate waste and this definitely wasn't going to be wasted) We will be back for sure

Take cash and we will be back, its card only and you should be taking cash as well in our opinion sent our kids out for the day with cash to have lunch together, we believe this is only card only buisness in that area too, very disappointed.

Thank you Dave for being so lovely to me and my partner. There was a small lack of communication with my order and i have had a sickness bug for the last 2 days and hadn't eaten. But all was resolved thanks to dave i am happily fed and have a new picnic blanket!!

Take away wraps and fries. Fresh chicken cooked perfectly well. Nice accompanying sauces and fries. Recommend getting a take away and sitting by the quay!

Ordered off deliveroo, 1 chicken wrap 1 salted caramel milkshake. Open the bag milkshake everywhere. Poor effort. Not cheap either

It was a dark day in late September when I came across a chicken shop. Little did I expect a great experience by my man Cole.

OMG The food is sooooo tasty. The staff are great too. Well worth a visit.

They clearly didn’t want to advertise that what I was buying as a takeaway (a wrap chips and a sauce) was part of the deal for £10 instead I paid £15! Once I had realised this when I got home, I ate my food and the wrap wasn’t nice didn’t taste fresh and the whole meal was very average not worth £10 let alone £15! Won’t be returning and very disappointed.

Starting from the moment we walked in, the service was extremely pleasant and friendly. We were seated quickly and and you can order at the bar or on app as the gentleman kindly explained to us as we got settled down. Promptly delivered a child seat for us and we swiftly decided and ordered. The decor is nice, the place feels clean and you can see into the kitchen which is always a good thing in my view. The selection on the menu is great, not massive but certainly not small either, so very easy to select what you fancy. Buffalo wings were really tasty and so weee the Mac and cheese bites. 4 of us (adults) all enjoyed what we have and for around £12.75 a head it was good value as well! There are no down sides about this place, amazing friendly staff, great food and nicely decorated surroundings. I would 100% return when I’m next in the area.

My husband and I had a takeaway chicken and blues. Absolutely brilliant, one tex mex chicken with rice and one southern fried chicken. Please open another restaurant in Ringwood.👍

Food was simple but good.. Staff were friendly and attentive. Boring inside. Especially disappointed with the fact that they refused to accept cash. I won't be back because of this reason.

There was 16 of us and a dog, we sat outside with a canopy over us, used the app to order, service was quick and very friendly waitresses, food was hot and delicious.

This is a nice addition to the centre of Christchurch. The menu is pretty basic compared to, say, Nando's but it's reasonably priced. The service staff are super young, but are attentive and friendly. Expect the type of service you'd get from a 'fastfood plus' style of venue where you order on an app and pay for each item you buy in advance. The food is okay, but it's not expensive. Atmosphere wise, we went in early (5pm) on a Saturday evening, but in a rain storm - so it was quiet.

lovely place..very nice food...nice friendly welcome..small table space so go for bigger table if you can..it appears that this is a specialist place for chicken lovers..if you want a varied meat menu then forget it..a bit pricey if you are on a budget but worth it for a treat..would i go back?..definitely..

Superb service for an early dinner. My server was helpful with my decision making and very friendly. Chicken was moist and very tasty. I was the only person in there but I can imagin it would be amazing with blues music and a bubbling atmosphere it would be fantastic. Quick service. Recommend the half chicken and the waffle fries.

What can I say.. Utter silence, which is near impossible with my lot. Well there was a great atmospheric bluesy vibe playing in the background and then the grunts, oh ers and lip smacking from our table. Simplistic decor but so well done it really spoke to the homely, family feel to the place, that and Catherine, super host who really made us feel welcome with ideas, fav dishes and a constant smile. The food was “Lish” as my youngest said and my wife announced “c’est les meilleurs wings qu’elle n’ait jamais mangés” roughly translated in layman’s terms “Best wings ever” The wraps were enormous, perfectly griddle lined, filled with fresh salad, slaw and crunchy chicken. Wings, wings and wings just the right amount of heat, sauce, stickiness and crunch. Fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. If you are in the Bournemouth area, check out Chicken & Blues there might be one nearby, but if you come to Christchurch, make sure you say hi to Catherine, she is the cherry on the top of the cake.. Great place and very affordable.

Nice tasty lunch, my husband had one if the chicken main courses I had a wrap. Good tasty chicken and nice side dishes too. Friendly staff were lovely to our dog as we sat outside.

We ordered 2 chicken wraps and sweet potato fries, great quality food, great service, clean establishment. Second time in and will be visiting again soon, fantastic addition to the high street.

Everything was absolutely fantastic! The service was enjoyable, the food was delicious!! The staff cleaned up peoples tables very quickly and the food came out very quickly aswell. You could see how well everything worked in here, highly highly recommend this place!

To be honest I expect more that what we got. When you order a half chicken. You imagine that you would get half a chicken from the same bird. But no two separate bit's. So just show's that the chicken comes in a bag. Probably ready cooked. Chicken skin had a a rub on it but the rest didn't. And thanking the Mick £1 for ketchup or mayonnaise. Come on seriously. The food came out with in 3 minutes. Way to fast for fresh food. Microwave me thinks. The staff were fantastic. But the food was ok but not as good as it could be. Website bigs it up way to much.

It was our first time here. We both ordered the Caesar salad. It was a really generous amount of delicious chicken and Parmesan. Really fresh salad leaves and perfect amount of Caesar sauce too. You can add bacon if you wish. I had a large glass of Malbec (comes in a can!). Great dinner at a very reasonable price. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent staff, great service. Took the time when we had some allergies to work out with the menu. Nice chilled bottle of water put on the table without ask. Everywhere nice and clean and bright. Keep it up!

Lovely wraps, very tasty, gravy, really tasty. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

A great alternative to Nandos. The skinned fries were great and the plant based options are lovely too. The Jalapeño poppers are for the faint hearted though as they have whole jalapeños in them. It's a lovely restaurant, but small, so get there early. The staff are very friendly too. Highly recommended.

Really liked the food and ease of ordering for this restaurant. Baby change facilities and it's very new and clean. The reason that it's marked down was the amount of foul language coming from the kitchen. There were more than one family in the restaurant and the number of "F's" were noticeable. Can't fault the serving staff. Cannot fault the food but the kitchen staff need to realise that their voices can be heard.

So let me just say that after having previous experience with Chicken and Blues branches in the past, I was shocked to hear that they have now turned cashless!! Very disappointing to hear this introduction in the current 'woke' surveillance controlled, society that is unfolding. Poor move Mr Simon'. Be very careful what you wish for when the digital prison is created. Another company I won't t be supporting in the future!
