There is VERY nice food available here, although it’s a little overpriced for what you get. The café itself is quite lovely, kept very clean and has good reading material, you can definitely waste a couple of hours here. It’s a high 3 stars but the prices are just a bit too high in my opinion, especially compared to the other local eateries.

If you’re looking for a nice decaf, a friendly face and gorgeous cakes then this place is for you. It’s a lovely cosy little independently run coffee shop. If you’re a decaf drinker then you’ll understand that it’s hard to find a nice one that doesn’t taste of chemicals or just really bland. The coffee here is lovely, just as nice as Costa! They’re also dog friendly and have a little bowl of free dog treats always available .

We are lucky enough to be local to this coffee shop and we visit regular. Great coffee, cakes and food, and a very friendly atmosphere. A special mention should go to the evening meal events which are always fantastic.

This is a cosy little cafe in a pleasant part of town, between Fairview and Harp Hill. A breakfast menu was on offer but I had a coffee (nice) and a 'hiker's bar' which was tasty and suitably healthy for those on the go. Non-dairy options are available. The staff were friendly and the cafe has a welcoming atmosphere.

We absolutely love Number 85. It is our regular stop on Saturday mornings for breakfast and delicious coffee. Welcomed with a friendly smile and laughs, Steph and Miles make the most delicious cakes and food. We have also ordered birthday cakes for our daughter which have never disappointed. We are asked for a theme/colour and flavours and these are brought together beautifully. 85 has become a wonderful place to meet friends and is a real gem for the residents of Fairview

This is the best place for a caffeine fix (and food/cake!!) and friendly staff & atmosphere. Lucky enough to live close by so come very often :-)

Popped in for lunch and had the butternut squash pappardelle which was awesome. Would usually come in for a coffee but the beer was much appreciated. Steph was cheerful as always. Finished with a millionaire shortbread, which is hand made by Steph along with the other delicious cakes. Can’t recommend enough. :-)

Family run business, tasty home cooked food and cosy vibe.

Absolutely fabulous brunch, we had a variety of the Rosti dishes which made a change from a traditional English breakfast. I had the smoked salmon which was delicious. The lady taking orders and serving was welcoming, friendly and very efficient. We will definitely be going back 😃

Really, really lovely food, all prepared to order in-house by the (trained chef) owners. The service is always genuinely warm and efficient, and they are so kind to everyone. A local gem.

Traditional as well as inventive new options with vegan and vegetarian dishes available through daily and themed menus . Guaranteed a friendly welcome with a great vibe, 85 is well worth a visit. Friendly local cafe. It's only a couple of minutes cycle from my house, so perfect for a quiet afternoon tea break with a good book. The breakfasts are really good here, too. The only thing that would make it even better would be if the council installed some proper cycle parking nearby,but hey, I'm being greedy 😋

It’s a nice place for breakfast, with both sweet and salty options, we tried the egg royale and the traditional breakfast and the only things I can say is that salt was missing and that the bread was already spread with butter, which made everything a bit too sweet, but on the overall it was ok.

Had poached egg on sourdough toast with smoked salmon. Very tasty. Nice sandwhich cafe/resturant. Also fab pieces of artwork for sale.

This lovely little Coffee shop is very friendly, welcoming, dog friendly & they do the BEST Bacon&Mushroom sandwich in Gloucestershire it is awesome!!!,try one please!!. Plus all homemade cakes are a delight mmmmmmmm.

Overpriced club sandwich that was dry. I think they also removed my review from before and so I will continue to repost should the same happen again. EDIT. Apparently writing an honest review is considered a "vendetta" by the owner. Take it on the chin guys, make a decent sandwich and make the price non-ridiculous. And there are more than just my "poor" rating on Tripadvisor.. just saying. Peace out.

Well worth a visit. 16 of us had a supper night which was exceptional. Really great food, attentive team and very smiley. Hunt it out and support them - A real gem

Great place for coffee and then a lunch. We started off as 3 plus 3 babies and were 9 + 3 for lunch, but were made very welcome.

I’m sorry to give such a low score review as it is clearly a favourite for many but the cappuccino was so hot it burnt my mouth and despite waiting for it to cool for a further 15 minutes it was still unbearably hot. I can see that this place uses good quality beans but sadly the temperature of the machine is set too high, which ruins it. We also had breakfast - my sausage sandwich was pretty tasty. My husband had scrambled eggs on toast but the plate wasn’t warmed so his food went cold very quickly. I’m sure if these little but important things were rectified I’d be up for giving it a much better review another time.

Warm welcome, very tasty food with varied menu, and good choice of coffee. Try the bacon butties with brown bread. Sooooo good.

Steph and miles are great cooks, never had a bad experience here! The Roast dinners are to die for! Had a great selection of cakes and pastries aswell! 101% recommend😁

The food here is excellent, really fantastic sandwiches and the specials are always great. Don't even get me started on the cakes! They're amazing. What I love about this place, apart from the great atmosphere and friendly welcome is that each item on the menu has been thought about and made that little bit better than 'standard'. I can't recommend it enough. I'm very lucky to have it on my doorstep (well at the end of the road...).
