Sat outside this Mokoko in Dorchester Street. Tables were dirty, cigarette ends all over the floor, tables not cleared - horrible - coffee on the other hand - lovely

Very good food and drinks. I had a nice seat near the window across from the pump room. Very good for seeing the world go by.

Dan and his Team are always friendly & smiley. The coffee is delicious and the baked goods even more so....gosh, the cinnamon rolls are amazing. Blue sky, weekend vibes = Mokoko!

They sell the best fresh pastries I’ve ever tasted!! The almond croissant was incredible and the service was great.

Lemon mint crush was fab. So refreshing, large size and full of flavour to the last sip. Pastries looked amazing so will leave room to have one next time!

I go to Mokoko regularly in Bath and Bristol and usually like this shop, it's food and coffee are great. However, I bought ground coffee at this shop yesterday, could see the bag was not put on the grinder properly, and was horrified to see a large amount of the coffee I had just bought fly over the counter. This was then scooped up from the counter, mixed in with other spilt grounds and put into the bag. It's a real shame, as it will make me nervous about buying grounds here in future.

As a local vot sure what everyone else thinks but this is my coffee house of choice in bath. There is another one in in the 'square' outside apple and this is my Saturday morning coffee of choice

Train journey from Bristol to Bath was not ideal - lots of "leaves on the line" - desperately needed coffee on arrival - stumbled across the road to Mokoko opposite the train station - hope this is the right one - but whatever - service was very good and coffee was brilliant - just what was needed before facing the cut and thrust of a day's shopping in Bath.

Arrived before the crowds and we were able to sit in the sun for delicious croissant, pain au chocolat, pain au raisin, and cinnamon bun. Unlike many coffee houses the coffee was not only well balanced and smooth but good strength Americano and it was served HOT and remained so until after we finished our pastries. An enjoyable way to start the day as Bath came to life, nearest continental cafe experience for 18 months

This is the best coffee in Bath! It’s hard to imagine how someone would rather have a Costa than this fantastic independent coffee. This morning I went to the pop-up outlet in the Southgate. Their card machine wasn’t working so the guy let me have my flat white for free (I will pop around the corner to pay at their shop).

This was the best almond croissant I have eaten since I went to Breads Bakery in Union Square, New York!

Elegimos nuestra mesa que estaba sucia y manchada, no se realizó ninguna desinfección durante nuestra visita. No estaba lleno, así que eso no era excusa. Usé el código QR para seguimiento y rastreo, que no funcionó en mi aplicación NHS. Pedí 2 tés y 2 pasteles a un costo de más de 12. Las bolsitas de té están abiertas, por lo que las hojas de té se filtraron en la bebida. El pastel estaba delicioso. Sin vajilla, todo se sirve en cartón. Para colmo de males, a pesar de ser un café para sentarse, se nos pide que retiremos nuestro empaque y lo desechemos en contenedores públicos. ¡Increíble! No regresaremos y no podemos recomendar.

Seating outside and it feels quite European especially with the mix of languages. Bellissimo. Small selection of cookies and cakes which looked good. Great coffee.

Great location next to Bath Abbey and the Roman baths, and the Pump room. Nice Georgian building. Drinks are excellent as are the super cakes. Definitely recommend.

I’ve been to the Mokoko at Bath Abbey Churchyard before, but never this site. I popped in today for a refreshing smoothie, and I was impressed as per usual.

I didn’t even realize the Mokoko is a small chain until I saw it in another city. It feel local, has great cakes and coffees, and the service is friendly.

They have a good blend, it's a strong flavor without being bitter. The milk was well textured and it was poured well with a good cremer on top. Carrot cake was good too.

A really fab place for great tasting coffee and very tasty cakes with unusual flavour combinations. Do try something you wouldn't normally, you won't be disappointed. Breakfast & lunches looked very tasty, we will return to sample another time.

So refreshing to visit an independent coffee shop rather than a large corporate chain. Ideally located opposite the bus station and very close to the train station. Great selection of wonderful fresh cakes and good coffee, service here is excellent. Only negative is there isn't a huge amount of seating.

We came for afternoon coffee and cake but wished we had come for lunch as well as the food looked delicious and really fresh with a healthy element. We had Beetroot and Ginger Cake it was lovely and light and not too sweet. Sadly my coffee wasn’t the best but the atmosphere the staff and the food made up for it. We will definitely go back.

Mokoko is a lovely cafe` nearby Bath Spa Station. The coffee used in this cute coffee shop is very high-quality coffee. I tried Peanut Butter Brownie and it was tasty too.

Everything in terms of puddings is great in this little caffee shop. Love the drinks as well. Good price and it has student discount!!

Amazing flavours! We had broccoli and cheddar quiche with salad and their raw cocoa slice - it was delicious. Coffee very decent as well. Additiaonal seating area upstairs! Lovely cafe with a very friendly staff :)

Stopped by here for a coffee with a friend after it was recommended to us. I have to say without a doubt the best coffee I’ve ever tasted, as well as a lovely atmosphere and great decor. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who enjoys coffee.

I come in here a fair bit as I work over the road. The service is always very friendly no matter how busy, very attentive and helpful. Have a great selection of tea, their Assam is amazing!!! Thank you for such a great coffee shop!!!

Walking around the Christmas market we noticed the Mokoko coffee shop. A very good selection of delicious looking cakes lured us in and after picking the lime and coconut slice and the raspberry cheesecake brownie we paid and went upstairs to the seating areas. Lovely comfy seats are arranged over a number of small rooms, ready for a relaxing time.

I visit daily and was encouraged to post a review in return for a free coffee. My online idleness is such temptation was necessary; yet my addiction so strong I'm keen to oblige. You may think you lead a rich and fulfilled life, most of us do, but if you're not drinking coffee regularly from this place; you need to wake up. One cup is all it takes to let off some steam. One sip will take you places others rarely have bean. You should have a taste if you're curious... go on... dare to dream...

Mokoko have two coffee shops in Bath (and also one in Bristol which I haven't visited). Best coffee in Bath and lovely cakes too. The shop near the Roman Baths also has excellent lunches

Had a flat white, nothing special though and too foamy with milk. Cost £3. The cakes are pretty expensive for a single slice at £3.5 so I guess this is where they make their money!

Not only is the staff super friendly, welcoming and funny but the coffee is also amazing! Not to mention the cakes that's all fresh and scrummy! Especially the raspberry cheesecake! You should come check it out when you're in town

Stopped here on a Friday midday for coffee and cake. The coffee was absolutely lovely and the cake was even better! We had a salted caramel brownie and a lemon and blueberry polenta cake to share from the Gluten Free options (of which there were 4 to choose from) and they were gorgeous. Honestly some of the best gluten free cake we have had in a cafe! The staff were also really friendly, chatty and attentive. All in all a wonderful stop for a sweet treat!

I frequently come here for my coffee and they never disappoint. The team are wonderful and welcoming and the coffee and cakes are amazing. One of the best places to get coffee and have a good chat in Bath.

I've been visiting Mokoko for several years, and these days it's pretty much every day. They serve the best coffee I've found anywhere, in fact I'd say that they're real coffee experts in all of its forms, without a hint of self-satisfied hipster smugness about it.

Ordered an iced coffee to go. It came with no lid (which defeats the point of having it to go!) and tasted absolutely awful!

Breakfast and cakes really amazingly good, the coffee was also delicious, flat white and filter. Staff really helpful and friendly, lovely decor and cool inside on a roasting hot day!

Mokoko was a very nice place with very good food and drinks.Also a waitress named Kerri was nice enough to give us a free smoothie that accidentally got ordered to our table and me and my family get to enjoy an extra smoothie. My son who is reaching 10 year old had helped to draft this review and I recommend this place.

If you are an American looking for a delicious mocha espresso drink, do not go here. It tasted just like a hot chocolate with no coffee flavor in sight. I'm sure the rest of their drinks are probably adequate to good.

I visit this establishment twice a day and thoroughly enjoy the service and coffee and the banter I receive!! Daf the main man is a real sight for sore eyes and his barista skills are off the chain!! If your coming to bath via the train station or bus you have to pop in and say hi and get a number 2 on the filter menu it’s outstanding. Ollie and Karl give excellent service and will put a smile on your face

Mokoko Coffee is an excellent place to get a yummy lunch for a great price. The quiches etc are served with a brilliantly different middle-eastern inspired salad that is always delicious and filling. The service is quick, and the upstairs seating is cosy, friendly and offers a cool view over the pump rooms.

Second time I visit Bath and second time I visit Mokoko Coffee!

What a great find! Opposite the train station so is perfect for some good artisan coffee on the way to work. Staff know what they're doing and deliver on every visit.

For either tea or coffee Mokoko is hard to beat The staff really care about the drink they are making and have an eye for detail. The one person, Japanese style, teapots are lovely and make a good cup. You have to be very strong willed not to be tempted by one of the cakes. Well worth a visit though there is only very limited sitting space inside (plenty outside) but the majority of customers seem to order a take away.

Bath is full of coffee shops but I think this one for me is by far the best! The coffee here tastes absolutely amazing.

Great coffee shop located right outside Bath Spa train station. Ordered a very tasty flat white, and purchased some beans from a guest roaster, Bailies Coffee Roasters.

I have been to this coffee shop many, many times - for the coffee, the vegan cakes and the excellent customer service that makes you feel valued.

The quality of the coffee is consistently great. Besides drinks, they also do delicious cakes and simple lunches.They also sell coffee-related wares, so it's a good place for coffee lovers. My boyfriend can never fight the urge to get a coffee from them almost every day. From time to time, they make specialty drinks. Once I got a matcha latte, it was really nice.

It was a damn good coffee, definitely top 3 in my life. Cake was really good too and the people I was with had fruit smoothies which were lush. Definitely recommend.

I called at lunchtime just intending to have a coffee but when I went inside I saw the most delicious looking cakes and could not resist. I chose a generous slice of chocolate and banana loaf and chose a berry smoothie instead of a coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful. Some other customers had chosen salads which looked enormous, colourful and tasty. They were assured that if they couldn't eat it all it could be packed up for them to take home. My only small quibble was that the service was a bit slow, but they were busy and I wasn't in a rush so I didn't mind. It's shame I am only a visitor as I would love to go back and try more cake!

Next to the Romans Bath there is a small place where actually you can get nice tasty coffee from around the world. Plus you can have good option of cakes and muffins. Recommend to everyone to have a break before you go further

Read the reviews, thought we would take a look. Very disappointed waiting over half hour, when cappuccino arrived it was cold, and I had to ask for it to be warmed up, All staff looked stressed and very grumpy.Definitely not worth the money, for this experience.

Popped in recently with my son as we had some time to kill. This is a delightful little spot, the staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. All the tables are outside which did seem to put some people off. The food on offer is good value and there is a great choice. Personally would recommend the piccolo coffee, loved it!

This place is tiny but makes a big impression. Fantastic coffee and very knowledgable staff. As a soy milk drinker, I appreciate that they were able to recommend a different milk (oat) that would combine better with the bean they were using.

Matt, Daff and Nina are the friendliest Barista's you are likely to meet. Great coffee, super friendly, once you have been in a couple of times they all know your order. And to top it all they have the most amazing home baked cakes too. You really must visit

Great location right next to the baths. We called in for a quick bite on the go. Takeaway cakes were 2 for 5 pounds which was reasonable. If you go here try the "hummingbird cake". It's amazing!

I go to Mokoko all the time in my lunch breaks and can honestly say it tops anywhere else by a million miles. The service is impeccable, with them recognising me when I go in now and they are always up for a chat which is lovely. The coffees, smoothies and cakes are deliciousssss with the banana & chocolate cake being especially fabulous! Weather you live here or are visiting, definitely swing by

I dropped into this coffee shop on the recommendation of my daughter who pops out at lunchtime sometimes. She says they know her so well, that she doesn't even have to tell them which copy she wants! That is service! I dropped in having got back from a long trip in Dubai and I was exhausted after a bus journey from Heathrow. A very warm welcome from the staff who were just delightful. Great quality flat white coffee and a gluten-free cake to go with it got me fired up and back on track. Thank you for making me so welcome and wishing you continued success with this little gem

We sat outside here and had a couple of cups of lovely coffee beautifully made and watched the world go by on a very busy festival weekend. The staff were very friendly and put no pressure on people to hurry. Highly recommend for a quick pit stop during a busy day or a leisurely cup of excellent coffee. (they do vegan, diary and gluten free if you need it)

After breakfast next door we stopped in to see what gluten free options they had for a snack. The lovely young lady behind the counter pointed out the many items and informed us that the brownies were life changing. While i cant say that my life has changed since then, i can say they were magnificent. I dare you to try one and think they are anything less than delicious.

These guys take making your coffee very seriously. It's not the quickest cup you'll ever get but it definitely one of the best. Really recommend it to anybody.
