Great full English breakfast good value for money coffee pretty good too. Cakes looked delicious so purchased some to take home and they were really delicious , very fresh. would recommend cafe to all.

Well stocked but fairly expensive

Knocked 2 stars off as the new conservatory is awful and waaaay over packed with new chairs and wobbly dangerous tables with warnings on them! We liked the comfy ones that used to be there but they've moved them into the main restaurant. As we take dogs we cant sit there. Its also a cold dull area which is not great for my 83 year old grandmother. We visit very often and are disappointed.

Always visit fermoys when holidaying locally and always enjoy a browse and purchase some cracking cheeses and Cornish pasties. This year the place is pretty much the same but the prices have really shot up. Staff friendly and cheeses bought were excellent as usual but they need to keep a check on prices or they won't be here for much longer.

Popped in for some lunch. However had to wait for some time while people had their hot drinks made which was a pain when I just wanted to order food. Chiabatas we're nice but chips where not cooked that great. Good range of plants and garden accessories. Lots of parking.

Very disappointed in food choices, food quality, table congestion and prices in cafe. A lot of overpriced bric a brac. My experience was summed up by seeing a dog urinating on a bucket containing lanterns and I couldn't find a member of staff to point this out for cleaning. I used to love Femoys and was sad.

Great place with loads of variety. Toys, food, furniture, clothes, tools and animals. Lovely little cafe but very expensive.

Lovely garden center beautiful plants all well cared for

We visited the cafe mid morning and had a lovely cheese scone, a toasted teacake and coffee. The staff were welcoming and friendly, a very polite young chap who was clearing and cleaning tables asked if everything was alright. We enjoyed wandering round the garden centre and being able to get a very good coffee and cake, the re vamped garden room is a pleasant place to sit.

Nice Garden Centre, used to enjoy visiting here for the Cafe , unfortunately not as good as it used to be , don't expect these places to be cheap , but I feel it's a bit overpriced for what is being served.

I wanted to take some Devon fudge back to friends after our stay in Abbotskerswell. The food produce section did stock fudge. A very expensive Devon fudge (£10) and fudge from: Scotland, Cambridge, Dorset. Perhaps Tabitha’s cakes would do? Made in Leicestershire. 😖 There are plenty of Devon fudge makers in Devon! Please stock local! I did however manage to pick up a fennel plant and a sage plant, guided by a very nice garden section assistant.

A lovely place to visit and have a wander. They have a large garden centre with plants, pots and ornaments. Plenty of gift ideas with a range of furniture, toys, bulbs etc. Best of all, they have a cafe, a deli (with some wonderful cakes and cheeses), plenty of parking and of course a public toilet just in case.

Great selection of everything you need for the garden and your outdoor space freindly staff and lovely cafe serving beautifull and tasty food highly recommended

Always the best plants, great stock selection and a good collection of unusual plants,,garden accessories for outdoor living, as well as for the home. Good restaurant for lunch or tea. Forest, farm food shop and local beer and wines. Obviously, for all that, you are not going to get the cheapest prices. But it's a blue Dimond, so if you have a card, then members' offers apply.

Good carparking helpful staff , cafe very good. Wheelchair users and disabled people may have some hardships in the outdoor plant areas, hoses and undulating ground conditions.

I am appalled see what you have done in your store! You seem to have forced Newton Pet and Aquatics to reduce the size of their premises and then had the audacity to place bird food and feeders immediately in front of their displays in direct competition. Absolutely deplorable. Fermoy’s has lost me as a customer and I shall certainly be informing family and friends of your actions.

I have always used the Newton Pet and Aquatics shop based at Fermoys for buying bird food. Unfortunately this morning I was shocked to see that the pet shop had been made smaller, and Fermoys had put shelves of their own bird food and feeders directly in line with the superb pet shop. I think this is a dreadful, deliberate use of the pet shop (who sell bird food) to sell their own bird food. I won't be spending money at Fermoys any more. I will continue to support the pet shop.

What on earth are you doing? I am a regular visitor to your garden centre, restaurant and to Newton Pet and Aquatics, a local business based on your premises. Visited today and horrified to see that you have not only reduced the size of the space rented by this local business, but the space you have 'reclaimed' has been filled with wild bird food in direct competition with them. As a large business, surely you should be supporting small local businesses NOT competing with them under the same roof. Local people will vote with their feet!

First time at the garden centre. Had a bit of trouble finding the plants at first. I was looking for a couple of shrubs and something to climb/cover a fence. I asked for some help and that is what I got. Paul listened to what i wanted and I couldn't be happier with my choices. On the way to put my trolly back a member of staff offered to take it and said enjoy the sunshine.

Sorry but the food is bland, and is very expensive for what it is…..awful! Won’t be going back. 😞 The staff behind the counter are friendly.

Very nice garden centre, has something fur everyone. Great cafe, lovely staff great service too. It a bit like Trago so much under roof but the staff are a different calliber. The acutally engage with there customers rather than walk right past them. Sorry Trago, they have obviously busted abd decided not to follow your lead! Food, fish, friendliness, flowers and fun. Give them a visit, don't forget your wallet.

Lovely place much bigger than looks great cafe

I have just had a wasted 20 mile round trip to find the Garden Centre Closed. I checked the website beforehand; it said 'open at 10am.' It's a pity no-one bothered to update it to 'closed on Easter Sunday.' While I was doing a U-turn in the gate, three other cars had the same problem! Thanks, guys.

Great selection of plants and Dart Farm butchers - best steaks around

Sorry, but awful food and over-priced too. I had a sausage roll that was £7 and the sausage meat was dry and the pastry chewy. My wife had a scotch egg that was a similar price and literally had no taste at all! Even the Bakewell slice was devoid of flavour as though they had tried to put as little jam and almond paste in as possible. Awful and ridiculously expensive too.

Easy to find and park, lots of beautiful things to look at and the food in the cafe looked inviting. However, the prices are high, even compared to other local garden centres. Another customer was talking to us and said "they seem to hike the prices up, because WE have the money" referring to being a pensioner. So, I know it's not just me that thinks it's a bit much. Saying this I purchased a sale item, 3 lanterns. When I got home they were broken and rusty/flaky - so returned them. The staff were pleasant and helpful, but on looking at others on the shelf, they were also poor quality and condition. So obtained a refund. Not likely to return anytime soon, as we like to visit other garden centres that are better value for money.

Like the pet shop but the garden centre getting very expensive

So many lovely friendly and helpful staff in the Cafè, shop and garden area. A decent pot of tea and my sister reckons the mocha is the best she has ever tasted. Such a nice place to have a mooch!

Wow. Simply wow. Give yourself more than two hours to explore, view and enjoy this fabulously well worked and laid out garden centre. So much more than just plants to enjoy. A really great treat to visit

Fermoys the garden centre was good But and a big but thought we have lunch there I had fish. and chips the batter was so hard. when I cut it a bit shot of nearly took the eye out of the lady on the next table .My wife had cottage pie it was warm the gravey was greasy and the presentation was terrible my wife could not eat it been there many times don't no if they have a new chef but not up to there normal standard

If you are going to charge nearly £10 for a cheese ploughman’s sandwich , maybe a little more thought on what you serve … 2 pieces of semi dry (half buttered) sliced bread … a sprinkle of tasteless catering cheese.. 3 slices of tomato … half handful of dry salad leaves … 2 half’s of tiny tomato ..teaspoon of Branston … half a dozen tasteless crisps …. £10 … wow … 2 of those with .2 latte’s …. £27 …. Shall not return

We've visited the Cafe a few times and always enjoyed the breakfast food. The staff are spot on too. Very surprised by the poor reviews. Never seen such a range of opinions. The prices are pretty average for the sort of breakfasts they serve these days. £10 ish for eggs Royale, Benedict etc. The eggs Cypriot was different and tasty (Halloumi with poached eggs etc). We're pretty fussy and the food hit the spot. Don't know what else to say really.

I've always loved coming here. Cafe is lovely and there are so many gorgeous things in the shop. Things to eat, things for the home. A fabulous pet department. I could spend a fortune. As for the Christmas stuff...oh my days!!

Lovely place, with a brilliant mixture of items for all ages. The food is delicious, if not a little pricey. Also they have an aquarium section, with very healthy fish. I can personally vouch for this as my Honey Gourami are thriving. Everything you need for the home & garden. Plus a great butchers.

The butchers shop was Brill a lovely joint for Xmas and picked up some horse radish and he reduced price because of size.

Drove up for a relaxing treat of lunch and shopping. Decided on lunch first as obviously very busy the week before Christmas. Ordered and paid for lunch only to sit waiting for 50 minutes. When we went to check on where our food was, got two versions of events 1. Our order was not passed on 2. Our food had been eaten by someone A serious waste of time Left hungry and very disappointed 😞 But will definitely give it another go because the food looked amazing and kind response from the owners

Just a passing visit to show our little grandson the fish. He really enjoyed it. Plenty of free parking a good cafe and a huge range of items for the garden. Today spent a little more time here. A fantastic selection for Christmas, gifts decorations and food a d drink

Once you have spent a good while walking through "stuff" you might find some plants. It's okay I guess

The garden center itself is good, a nice Christmas selection and the food shop is good but there are major issues with the restaurant, we where waiting to get a coffee and there wasn't a major que but we heard customers being g told there is a hour plus wait for hot food, clearly who was running thd restaurant had no clue how to run one. There ws more than enough staff to cope. The roast dinner was being put on a plate then putting in a microwave to heat up. I saw 4 diffent customers leave when they where told it was a hour a big loss of takings . Its expensive at £17 for a dinner when the service is so poor. I never mind paying for quality if the service is good . I worked for Forte for 10 years and if my staff run a restaurant like this they be fired . Please sort as I so want to still use this place

Very disappointed. We selected the Christmas lunch, there was plenty of it, in fact to much. The turkey was in large thick slices but dry, the carrots were cold, the red cabbage had a very strange taste usually it has apple or cranberries but this tasted very much of vinegar. the roast potatoes looked lovely but it was a job to cut them up, which I think was the knife not being sharp. The rest of the veg was ok. At nearly £17.00 each just for dinner was a lot of money.

Cakes coffee and delicious meals, what more could you ask for? Fermoys cafe/restaurant was so busy yet again today so I'm not the only one who thinks this way! It just amazes me how Sheridan and her the staff all remain so efficient and friendly in the most difficult of circumstances. Blue Diamond need to recognise the amazing work (and food!) that these dedicated people produce. They cook in a domestic size kitchen with no room to breathe and they never stop!! Having visited many Blue Diamond cafes around the country I believe this amazing gem has been forgotten by those in charge. What a shame!

Very good garden centre that we visit frequently. However, the cafe side have completely lost the plot!! Poor food a couple of weeks ago,but we decided to give it a another go yesterday. £9.45 for a white bread sandwich that's way too expensive . No Granary or seededl bread, Pale flacid chips. that would appear to have been left under a light to keep warm. Think your chefs should pop over to Dart Farm and see how it is done. sorry but you have lost our custom

A very large garden centre with a huge variety of products. It's worth a visit just for a look around. Has a big carpark and is wheelchair accessible to all areas.

Poor to say the least... Firstly... Way over priced for what you get. Asked for no tomato because of my allergy, breakfast arrived with tomato. Bacon is like boiled ham ... Sausages n black pudding are very tasty considering the rest of the breakfast. Sadly won't be ordering the full English here again. Disappointed to say the least.

Review for the cafe only. After shopping at the excellent butcher, decided to indulge in a late breakfast. Ordered scrambled eggs on sourdough toast with bacon. Very disappointed: eggs so pale, with no flavour.... what I'd expect from some catering packet. Soggy toast. Coffee good.

Ordered drinks and a sandwich, waited over 30 minutes, still no sandwich, If there is going to be a long wait you should be told when ordering can’t believe we’ve had to wait so long for a COLD sandwich. Fed back to the team to be told sorry it’s chaotic today and you’ve probably been missed out when ordering Ridiculous!

Sweet Garden Centre with lots of great Gifting ideas and general bits. Cafe was nice and lots of choice. Staff in the Cafe were SUPER friendly and lovely. Will be back.

We are local people. Always go to Fermoys for Breakfast and was totally appalled. Wirh the prices on their menus. How can you justify by charging your extra breakfast items at £.2.95???. for 1 egg 1 tomato 1 slice bacon etc etc.Absolutely scandalous. If you bought individual items your Full breakfast would cost nearly £30. I wiork in Catering and can honestly say I would never charge this. There are so many local people that will not be returning. You need to go back to the owners Blue Diamond and see how they can justify by charging this? Times are hard for families.

Lovely garden centre. But needs a trolley point for the shopping if you want your customers to stop for lunch. Plenty to see and lots of ideas for xmas. Got 4 poorly plants from sick bay at great price and all doing well now. Good parking. Need new trolleys abit untidy. Great choice of things from plants to meat and all in between.

The staff here were welcoming and helpful, and the food was wholesome and of good quality. Their specials were actually quite special, and their cake selection was quite an experience! Definitely worth a visit 👍🏻
