£18.95 for a very sorry looking very small piece of battered fish. Won't be in a hurry to come back.

Cute cafe with great toasties and coffee. Staff really friendly and helpful with a good range of food choices including baked potatoes, toasties and sandwiches. Coffee was a good sized cup with a mellow flavour. Good prices and a great view over the Mermaid Beach.

A group of 4 of us visited. I Was the only one drinking lager, others had shorts. When I got my beer I was a little amazed that the bubbles were going from top to bottom???? and very cloudy lager. Normally bubbles from the bottom upwards do you think?? Anyway, made my way to bar to discuss this issue only to be told I was wrong and can't get a refund or replacement 🤔 This was my first pint of the day before you ask and last drink here

Nothing wrong with the quality of the food , the drinks were great as was the food but the price was ridiculous , £8.75 for a small toastie … not sure if I had the ends of the loaf of bread but I was astonished at the size of the toastie and having to pay £8.75 for it , like I said it was very tasty but just tiny and very expensive

Booked online even though previous reviews were not overly positive. However, it exceeded our expectations and provided very good value for money. Check in was straightforward and we went to our room. Although it would have benefited from a really deep clean, it was pretty clean. The beds were comfortable and the en-suite had all we needed. The room was quiet and we slept well. We had booked breakfast the night before as it was cheaper to do this. There was a very good selection and we were well looked after by Fraser. The hot good was very good. We did the same for the next breakfast but we’re overcharged. I pointed it out and suggested they put the extra in the charity box. All in all a very good stay and we would certainly return there. To be fair, except for the deep clean and overcharge, it would have been 5 stars.

We visited the cafe on Saturday 8th March, and experienced appalling service. Waited ages to get served, the lady was too busy talking to the customer in front who had a little dog with her! Then two other colleagues started talking to the lady as well. Didn't think dogs were allowed in there, especially being in the cafe part. The lady on the till was back and forth, taking food to the table and orders being placed taking them out the back!! Terrible service, there was plenty of staff who seemed not to be doing much. We waited ages for our coffee's, got them almost finished our drinks before our lunch arrived, they were sandwiches, which to be honest doesn't take that long too prepare, plus they didn't all come out together, my son had almost finished his before mine and my husband's came out. The cafe wasn't even that busy!!

My sister is a big fan of the M&S cafe, we were a pre Christmas shopping party of six and very lucky to find a table were we could all sit down together were I was introduced to the roasty toasty, a toasted sandwich which is served with a pot of gravy for dipping in…. Wow it was so tasty, I give it a 10/10. Sadly I didn’t order it I just got to try a bit of my sister’s, I had the poached eggs on toast with bacon, it was nice. the cafe didn’t have any avocado, that’s fine I can live without avocado…. But I will be back for a roasty toasty.

If I'm paying £2.50 for a can of coke, It would nice to be offered a glass and ice with it. Iced latte, in a mug - really? Sausage baguette, sausage and baguette - nothing else, no salad, no crisps. I don't mind expensive, But please offer something to justify the price. The staff were nice though.

Nice and tasty food. Great for a quick break while shopping 🛍. Quite expensive for my liking but food is good 👍.

25 minutes to make 1 hot drink and 2 cold. Ever tried to spread solid butter with a wooden knife and eat overheated soup that melts the spoon? If not then this is the place for you. Excellent date night spot that is guaranteed to end in tears. I would like to give zero stars but apparently that is frowned upon.

Apparently they have chef's here, more like cooks. Four separate times, I asked for my bacon in the morning, to be freshly cooked, so it's juicy and crispy, and every time it was reheated bacon, that was already cooked, and it was harder than pork crackling! Absolutely disgusting! A professional chef would be disgusted with that, because they wouldn't lower themselves to such a standard, and they obviously don't listen let alone care about the customer.

Went for lunch at 12 noon and there was very little to choose from and the sandwich I did buy tasted more of the plastic wrapping than it did of the sandwich. The coffee, however did taste okay.

I was at the Guilford branch & it made me there is still humanity & compassion in corporate retail ABSOLUTELY lovely people

Great pub great atmosphere makes you feel welcome have great live music also live sport as well always something going on and they still manage to keep prices down

Mientras estábamos en el centro comercial, paramos aquí en esta pequeña tienda para comprar un poco de café. No nos sentamos, simplemente caminamos alrededor del centro comercial con nuestras tazas para llevar. La calidad estaba bien.
