Very slow bar service Waited 20minutes to be served We sat outside Dirty tables cigarette buts are everywhere we moved to the gazebo No smoking signs everywhere but floor covered in cigarette buts The whole place needs a refurbishment We were going to eat but the state of the place put us off We have been going to the malta for many years and was disappointed in the decline

Our freshly made drinks were up to the usual good Caffe Nero standard. The staff were friendly enough. The seating was comfortable enough. However, the toilet facilities could have been cleaner (water on the floor) and there were quite a number of people apparently "working from home" and were having loudish telephone conversations.

Andrew (Store Manager) absolutely amazing! I have drank the same coffee for years (flat white extra shot) and have never had it explained to me that the first double shot in the flat white will be different to the extra. He took the time to clearly explain the difference in each of the shots and how they affect the drink. He was really friendly and informative, never had service like this from a barista. Thanks Andrew!

Excellent staff, excellent service, excellent managment, pretty good food/drink (depending on personal taste, but if you like the items available, you'll probably enjoy the taste of it). Only negative: the security on big nights can be confrontational and rude unnecessarily to generic customers. Would recommend to any newcomers. If you leave behind/loose something staff are really good at keeping lost property. 10/10 all around

Member of staff yesterday was serving but full of cold nd wiping nose on back of his hand whilst working the till; I really should’ve walked away without food and drinks but had already paid. He should’ve sent himself home if there’s no manager on site to do that! Disappointed and disgusted 🤢

Always very friendly. It's clear they have regulars in as well which is nice - they too are greeted with a friendly smile!

I was very disappointed to go into this Subway for the first time in a while to see that you now have to order at a self order kiosk. This usually isn't an issue, McDonald's for example have perfected the use of these machines. But when the machine isn't working well and doesn't offer what you want (things you could normally order when speaking to a human) it's frustrating. That with the added pressure of a growing queue behind you. Then when the staff said we have to use the machine to order, my decision was made up and just left without ordering and instead went to a reliable place where we can be served by a human. I just hope subway doesn't make this the norm.

Service very slow. We sat down (after confusion around tables) and didn’t get drinks for 30mins, children’s drink wasn’t chilled. Food was vile most of it had clearly been frozen. ‘Wild mushrooms’ were lukewarm slimy sliced chestnut mushrooms.

Can't say much about it as it was Closed! Staying at Holiday Inn, we thought it would be nice to pop across for a drink. All in darkness. Went back to the hotel where they informed us it had been "closed for months". Maybe it might be a good idea to put a sign on the door saying as such! We walked down the road to the Beefeater and had a few drinks there instead.....

We were greeted at the bar as soon as we arrived. The staff were polite and friendly. Our food was tasty and the onion rings were amazing (made from scratch). The chef checked if we were happy with the food and offered for us to have more drinks served to the table. We would come back again.

Awesome location, heave forbid getting a table without a number, tried to explain the location of my table but the person taking food orders rudely sent me packing despite my please about the missing number

My dad & I met some friends here on Sunday. We have been looking forward to having a roast lamb meal & they did not disappoint. From entering the restaurant to leaving, everything was perfect. Staff were attentive & courteous. Bee greeted us with a lovely smile & showed us to our table. The drinks & food were amazing. So tasty, Jason & I chatted as I paid the bill, I wasn’t rushed even though they were very busy. Best roast dinner around! Definitely book. Thank-you to everyone for making it such a special & lovely meal, especially for my dad.

Great location by the river. Very friendly helpful staff - great lunch menu. Sandwiches were super fresh with goood quality ingredients. Very clean with large outside area with tables by the river. Definitely visit again!,

Myself and my two children had a Great stay for two nights , family friendly pub, open fires were so cozy, the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay based in a cute small village
