Ok grub. Not the best breakfast around but did the job. However, getting stung £75 for parking fee is day-light robbery. !

Visited The Manor for the first time in many months. The thing that used to set here above other Wetherspoons was the staff. They always appeared a happy and polite team. Whilst there were some familiar staff who were as friendly and efficient as ever, some new faces were very blunt and to the point. We even heard two staff chatting and they seemed to be competing to see who had the "best" story about being rude to a customer....

Just another Wetherspoons that was nothing special. The service was blunt, on the verge of rudeness. Food served quick but cold. All seemed ok for just a quick breakfast, but won't be returning.

My favourite place in bracknell the prices are great service brilliant food great for the price the rose wine is the best rose I've ever had ...lovely building hard working staff hope it never closes 🙏

Generally quite like a Spoons but feel like I've been scammed visiting the Old Manor. Popped in for a bite to eat and got the £2 refundable car parking ticket. It was very busy in there and food took a long time to arrive so ended up staying there for over an hour (about 90 mins). A few days later we got a fine from euro carparks for £45 - absolutely fuming.

This is the best Wetherspoons we have visited and we must have been to 50 or so around the UK. We went in every night of our 3 day stay at the nearby Travelodge. The table service and waiting staff are a credit to the Manager always clearing the tables when required.Usually we have to ask staff to clear and wipe down as they are usually full of glasses or plates .This was not the case with The Old Manor in Bracknell. Couldn't complain about the food and also friendly bar staff. I wish our local one in Bradford was managed as well

Had a couple of very impromptu and informal business meets here just me and one other. Very cheap, great wide menu and whilst food is certainly not fine dining or special it was very acceptable. Great chips. Beer at £1.97 per pint. Staff were good a bit rushed off of their feet but pleasant etc Easy to park, yes it pays to read the parking charge notice, then its easy Will return

Food came out in less than 5 mins worrying all 3 pizzas not cooker - doughy and not cooked - burger burnt and raw in the middle and then 3 of out of 6 where sick within 2 hours not good they didn't care the food was poor when they took the plates offered nothing and called to speak to the manager told I receive a call back nothing waste of £61.00 Tables and floor dirty

You cannot fault the food or the service. Like all Wetherspoon establishments, great place to eat out with friends week in week out.

Waited 30 minutes for family member to come out for pick up. Unaware this was a pay parking as it was dark and no large warning signs .. but just recieve a £75 fine for waiting. Waited before no fine ? ..Be careful !

I visited The Old Manor on the 1st of January 2024, I ordered the large breakfast at 11:08, breakfast arrived at 11:22, the breakfast was missing the sausages, the hash browns were seriously over cooked, and the breakfast was stone cold, I waited for the check back you would normally receive, when this didn’t happen I took the breakfast back to the bar myself, second breakfast arrived at 11:45, no check back, no apology, rude staff and terrible service. To be fair cold breakfast seems to be a Wetherspoons specialty, this company is rapidly sinking.

I love the Manor and go often but this review is related to a parking ticket I received. I spoke to Harley the duty manager and he sorted it straight away. He was so professional and so friendly. Thank you Harley. You're great!

Big Cal made the night. Completely unexpected, flawless, endless service cleaning our table (every new order) asking if our drinks were alright and if we hade anymore on the way. Polite the whole time. Truly making our night, a football fantastic legend, big Cal. Made our night. Loved it. Would love to go again.

Visited the Old Manor on a Saturday after noon .Their are 2 bars in this pub but only one manned customers were constantly waiting at what is known as the bottom bar not knowing it was not staffed s customers had to inform the waiting customers of the situation and send the customers to what is known as the top bar which had a constant queue and 4 staff serving? A sign on the bottom bar stating it was closed would of helped the situation and left customers sitting enjoying their food and drink or put a staff member their to serve.

I am utterly shocked to read the below review. I was here yesterday and the customer was extremely rude. The staff dealt with the lady as well as they could remaining professional and calm. It’s a shame some individuals ruin an environment for others. We had a lovely meal here and would like to thank all the staff for their hard work as we can appreciate the difficultly of working in hospitality. 👏👏👏

The customer service is so lacking that it is a real turn off. The elderly curly haired female server who took my food order was rude, unhelpful and a throw back to Soviet Russia style attitude with all the charm of a bulldozer. I even had to ask her if she had had her refund from charm school!! And when I complained to the manager who brought my food he was dismissive of my feedback and said that I should have realised that the bar server was busy. He then strode away and refused to give me his name when I asked for it. Seems like appalling customer service runs right up to the manager level at this Weather spoons.

***** BEWARE PARKING SCAM ***** We paid max 3 hours but over stayed by 30 mins assuming if paid maximum we wouldn't have to worry about time but that extra round cost us a parking fine. If hadn't paid fine but having paid and still got done feels like been scammed. **** DON'T PARK HERE *****

Car park a rip off We put in one hours car park and received the car park refund after ordering food. But unfortunately received a £75 car park fine as outstayed by 15 mins. So please read the car park notice every clearly. As your cheap Weatherspons meal will not be cheap.

Place used to be great,but now it's really shabby and past it's best. Food what you'd expect from this chain and ok for cheap price. Staff are clearly not enjoying their jobs either, unless they were all having a bad day! The worst of it is the parking set-up, you do get first two hours off your food bill, but that involves faffing about with tickets and remembering when you order. If you happen to end up staying a bit longer don't forget get to buy another ticket before the first expires or you get a £45 parking ticket 2 weeks later, because they have cameras tied into your reg on the ticket machine. Of course my bad for not spending an hour squinting at the endless list of Ts and C's on a pole in the car park in the rain to make sure I knew all the legal requirements! So £45 paid for 13 mins extra in a nearly empty car park, doesn't seem to be a grace period to get in your vehicle and leave! So thanks JDW for putting these robbers in charge of your car park, no doubt receiving a portion of all their fines in doing so. I won't be using any of your pubs again and will be sure to share my disappointment with everyone I know. My advice is if you go to the Old Manor, be sure to walk!

Had a nice meal with my family staff seems very nice and helpful food was nice only downside was I took my 9 week old niece to the disabled toilet and I stepped in someone's poo I cleaned my shoes and I informed the staff they were nice. So some of the people that visit that pub are not very considerate of others. It's a shame really all in all it was a nice visit

Popped in for a traditional breakfast on a Saturday morning. Whilst the building is charming and the staff friemdly enough, it has to be the worst Spoon's breakfast I have ever had (and I had a lot of the years). Baked beans were stone cold, not even luke-warm and the sausage was burnt. Very disappointing and won't be returning.

Arrived at 0800 opening time for a breakfast. Door was open so walked in with mask on. Lady staff member shouts we are not open you cannot come through that door. I said it’s 0800 and the door was open. Didn’t wait for an answer went to Costa instead. Right decision.

Have always loved weatherspoons and visited them often but the one time that I have had cause to complain, it has been dealt with very badly. Went after lockdown and have visited other venues that have got it so right (Bexhill Weatherspoons being one of them) Bracknell had it so wrong, did not feel comfortable at all. Also waited over an hour for meal. Asked to see the manager and complained and was offered a refund. Was planning on donating the refund to the charity that they support but after 3 weeks still had not been credited despite the money being taken on the day we visited. Phoned and spoke to people 3 times and they never got back to me. Eventually complained to the head office who replied saying that they had sent the complaint to Bracknell for them to deal with. Needless to say it has never been dealt with.

When my wife and I went into the old Manor at 8am today , we were greeted by friendly staff and it was nice to see the old Manor taking covid-19 seriously. Lots of hand-sanitizer in auto pumps, which is also far safer. 1 at the entrance and various places inside the Manor. Great cleaners wearing masks and doing a thorough job. The barman kept a safe distance and served behind the screen. He was very polite and very helpful and efficient. We had 2 full English breakfasts large size and for the price of the food, we were totally satisfied with it and ingredients used a good standard. Didn't need to wait long either for our food to arrive. I admit I ate my wife's sausages and bacon too and left full. My wife has a hip injury and she does find chairs uncomfortable, but the padded seats helped her to feel comfortable enough, to enjoy her breakfast. Seating areas are well spaced out too, so that made us both feel safer, during these troubling times we are all facing. Recommend using this pub for the safety measures they have in place and for the quality of service and food. Congratulations to the Old Manor for the due diligence and fantastic service we received. We really needed a good start to our day and you excelled in giving us a positive experience. We thank you!

As 18 year old girls I am absolutely appalled by the way we have been treated by the staff. We respect the rules so we got moved as group of 7 to two tables as we didn’t realise that the 6 rules applied before Boris states it to. Then agreeing to move to the two tables that were set up by one of the bouncers. We then get approached my many bouncers telling us to move even tho one bouncer set the tables up together. After moving on to the one table with 6 of us on. Which is the rules! The Asian bouncer supposedly called Pretty and another bouncer called Mohammed proceeded to be rude to us and instructed us to leave even though we have followed the rules. One bouncer called Pete completely understood what we were saying as it was a miscommunication of their staff. He came to speak to the manager with us and he completely disregarded what his staff was saying. As young girls getting kicked out for following the rules I think this is disgusting as they knew we had no where to goI would not advise to go here even if you intend on following the government rules as the Wetherspoons have accumulated their own!

Went here at the weekend for the first time i had a glass thrown at me then bar staff came to the table being terribly rude to me?! Aswell as this when i shouted at the person who did this for him to leave me alone as if it was my fault ..as i tried to stick up for myself by telling him what happened bleeding out 6 security man surrounded me?! Not the guy who assulted me man handled me to the floor and the whole time i wanted to go home even got told it was my last drink alsi i had to pretend to be asleep so they would stop pinching my arms be very careful and yes dont go there if u want to be covid free its a breeding ground bar man come and lent over my table breathing all over me and VERY RUDE it was handled completley incorrectly. Due to coronavirus If you want to stay safe stay away there are no rules put into action. Staff don’t guide you or assign you to a table the staff aren’t helpful. And there’s no plexiglass or hand sanitiser.

Recently visited The Old Manor with my partner for drinks and a bite to eat, I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the food which was topped off after receiving brilliant service from Colin behind the bar. He is very friendly, professional, and an absolute credit to the pub. Top Man.

Parking is far more important than the pub-restaurant. Pub is fine. Good food and service BUT new car parking meter machines are fixed to not work. £75 fine for non payment because we and others couldn't pay. The machines wouldn't accept our money. Suggest- Either walk to the pub, or go elsewhere. Lots of choice in Bracknell. Morrisons serves good budget price food and Coppid Beech has its own pub downstairs. Loads of free parking.

First time here to have the breakfast. Very good value for money with free refills. We both had the standard breakfast with an extra sausage, I also had black pudding all for £12.00 very tasty. I used the app to order, very fast and efficient. Easy to add extra items though my wife is not a fan of baked beans and I could not remove them.

Good beer selection. Huge menu. The door staff are very polite and professional. The barman Kieran, I think that’s his name, has great costumer service.

Called in for breakfast and a real ale as usual today and after a longer than usual wait the breakfast arrived, lukewarm!! Never had the chance to bring it to someone's attention as nobody came back to ask if our meal was ok. Perhaps they knew it wasn't up to scratch so they gave us a wide berth. If it happens again I will ask for a hot meal!!

Went shopping at the Lexicon. Walked over the road for lunch. I ordered cod and chips but they had run out. I had a tikka masala. I feel the portion could havr been larger slthough it came with naan and a poppadum and rice. This Wetherspoons pub is tudor style. Large with lots of low doors and wooden beams. Well staffed and service was quick. Very satisfied.

We had family event to attend and passed through Bracknell and spotted this Olde Worlde pub so as we were on time constraint we felt it world be a quick and easy food stop. Parked outside, paid (got a refund with the food order). Busyish with a few drinking around the bar area. Large medieval banquet type room looked nice so we found a table and perused the menu, made our selections and headed to the bar to place our order. 2 behind bar with whom I think was the main barman serving a customer. We waited until he finished, but he seemed to be pre-occupied and left the bar area for a couple of minutes. On his return he approached us and we placed our order and duly paid. Not at all friendly, just took the order and sent us on our way. Fine, just lack of any warmth.

We needed food and drink at 7,30pm on a friday night, we ordered quickly on arrival and were told a 45 minute wait and our food arrived after 42 minutes. Our food was hot and properly cooked.

Yes I was slightly underage bunking off school (the masters and us came to an arrangement to be in different bars) but whether independent, Berni Inn or in current guise of Wetherspoons the pub has structurally remained almost the same. It is indeed an old Manor House significantly pre-dating the New Town.

We visited towards the end of the family hours and was informed this straight away. As we had children in the group we thought we would get our food and leave as quickly as possible.

Had my usual Tuesday meal here, and one of the others on my table just happened to look across diagonally as another customer licked the top of a sauce bottle! This was drawn to the attention of the shift manager, who removed the bottle and binned it! Bring back single-serve sachets!!

I regularly visit the old manor in Bracknell and would like to give a special mention to Colin James ward, he always makes us feel welcome and looks after every customer that walks through the door he's very professional and I always leave with a smile! Thank you colin

The food here is typical pub fare. Nothing special and nothing you'd rush back for. The staff are ok but not over enthusiastic. They have a nice outside seating area though when the weather is fine.

Ok missed the entrance first time round as not well signed but glad I went round again. Sunday after swimming with the family and wanted feeding. Never been to this Wetherspoon before and was dubious after visiting the Oxford one, shouldn’t have worried, excellent service and food. Friendly and helpful staff flat coke which was changed without question and something added to the order when the food was on the table and payment sorted afterwards, best Spoons I have been in South of the border!

Surprisingly nice place with a secluded garden. We'd cycled there and the manager, Ian, went out of his way to help us by allowing us to lock our bikes in their storage shed.

Had lunch there with my daughter on sunday this week. suprised how nice the building was. Pleasant helpful staff. Yes we will return.

The breakfasts here are the best! Refillable tea and coffee is a great extra too. Due to a certain disability I can only eat certain foods but the menu here has such a great variety I am always spoilt for choice. The price is also fantastic if you don't have a lot to spend. Great atmosphere and decorated very well.

We came for the real ale festival, nice selection of beer and third of a pint option a fantastic idea to try most of them. Ordered food for the first time via the app and worked a treat. Good value, tasty beer and food in a nice settling. Staff always helpful and friendly atmosphere. One of our favourites.

There were about 5 of us enjoying an afternoon evening out to start would be nice for staff to actually smile and act like they want our hard earned cash to then be dissatisfied by the presentation of the coctails and glasses for starters coctails were not stored so

Visited The Old Manor on Wednesday 6th March. Arrange to meet a friend for a catch up and was there just over 3 hours. Really lovely and relax atmosphere even though it was busy due to it being breakfast time. We had free refills of tea/coffee & a lovely breakfast. I had the breakfast wrap & my friend had beans on toast both very tasty. Staff very friendly and helpful. Car park is pay & display but you get that back if you spend more than £5 in the pub. Would definitely recommend and we will return. We didn't stay for lunch but the menus came out onto the tables and it all looked very nice.

My family went out to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. Some of our food took an hour to arrive which is a problem as we had other things to do later in the day. The food was at a good quality but the wait was a massive letdown.

Dinner out before 2 weeks away, steak night. Steak and beer £8.20 for me, wifey had rose’ scampi and chips, altogether under £30
