Went for lunch at 12 noon and there was very little to choose from and the sandwich I did buy tasted more of the plastic wrapping than it did of the sandwich. The coffee, however did taste okay.

Saturday Lunchtime. 2 hungry children. Hardly anything to choose from in fridges. No fruit. No yoghurts. No pastries. Youngsters behind counter were great but unable to serve the long queue. Orders were taken wrong or not done at all. Waited over 30 mins for 2 pizzas. Manager seemed unhelpful and out of his depth. However food was very nice.

Ordered my lunch with the side salad on a separate plate.Food arrived with side salad on same plate my beans all over it asked for it to be changed when it returned in the separate plates I had asked for. I then had to go and get my own sauces (as I was told they would be brought to the table ! ) once I’d got back to my lunch the potato was Luke warm and my beans were cold ! Won’t be coming back Sainsbury’s oh yeah and when they changed my plate the beans were slopped all over it ! And all done with a smile .

We were early for a meeting so parked up at Sainsbury's in Cobham, had a coffee and a sandwich in the upstairs cafe. Very good value, very good coffee and the sandwich was pretty good to ! However.............. It's a pretty miserable cafe, well overdue a facelift, the furniture is tatty and worn and it bares no relation to the very nice supermarket downstairs !!!! Come on Sainsbury's smarten it up, you could do so much better !

Just got to Sainsburys cafe in Sevenoaks. Shuts at 7pm it’s 6:15pm and they have stopped food and only doing a cup of tea. It’s slowly getting even worse.

We stopped here for a coffee before we started the shop. A bit shocked to see hot chocolate mixed up with a fork!!??!! The chips were lovely and you could tell the cakes were not home made but still very nice. Would reccommend the carrot cake.

This is my regular supermarket, although I rarely use the cafe. Today, having been for a morning walk, we decided to call in for lunch, before shopping. At 1pm there were only a few paninis left, so we choose omelettes instead. These were just fine, hot, full of filling and with a good side salad. Pleasant staff, a good lunch!

Technical problems meant staff problems. Staff seem to be treated badly so don't want to go here. To close it upsets many customers who will vote with their feet. Supermarket suicide!

Unfortunately I visit this cafe on a regular basis, the customer service is next to nothing - blank expressions and no please/thank you, apologies nor queue management is to be seen. Food is always poor and Luke warm at best. I asked for a billionaires hot chocolate at Christmas and instead given a coffee.. when I returned I didn’t even receive an apology.. like it was my fault I had been made the wrong drink. I showed my receipt as I felt I needed to prove it wasn’t a mistake I had made when ordering. The cutlery is always sparse and grubby looking, and barely any small spoons to stir your hot drink with. The reason I have finally written this review is because I’m fed up of the service and receiving average at best food - today ordering chips and a bacon sandwich.. chips were soggy and tasted like they had been reheated and the bread for the bacon sarnie was HARD due to being exposed to air!! Being a former Sainsburys employee I am SO shocked that this cafe is still being allowed to run in the manner it is. It is an embarrassment to Sainsburys. The best advice I can give? Close it down and concession it out.

Have been previously on a few occasions as a lunch stop before shop, first time we went about a year ago it was great, then gradually declined into slow service, cold food and messy tables. Today, however was the worst. All the tables were messy with trays left on them, the tray cart where people are supposed to put their finished meals in was completely rammed with people putting food on top of it, surely health and safety regulation there? One of the young girl waitresses was stood for at least a good 15 minutes talking to what looked like her fiends, whilst other people around looking where to sit at a clean table!! Whilst One of the other waitresses was rushing around!! Lunch took 30 minutes to arrive, in which I had drank my hot drink, otherwise would’ve have been stone cold by the time my food arrived, the food finally arrived, my husbands “bigger breakfast” was cold and the beans were dry!! Toast was soggy, eggs rock hard, my bacon baguette was rock hard and bacon was stone cold. I took mine back and asked for a fresh one, 10 minutes later I got what seemed the same rock hard baguette and luke warm bacon. Also asked for a fresh coffee to which I hadn’t received, no apology nothing and the staff all seemed to disappear. One man in a shirt came in and was tidying around. Needless to say we won’t be going back there unless they change their staff and get some order in there! £17 spent on lunch I would rather spend in a “proper” cafe knowing the food will be hot and promptly served.

Breakfast pit stop I would have to say could certainly give a greasy spoon a run for its money. Food was cafe specials nothing fancy but a bit too greasy for my liking so a disappointment I would have to say. Shame

Popped in for a quick breakfast today as have previously been pleased with the breakfast here, but today we were told that 2 members of staff had called in sick so there was no hot food! REALLY? The whole cafe collapses because of this? Who's in charge there?

Whilst for a supermarket food looked ok & coffee was good. The staff were useless. To be offered £4.70 of change in 20p is unacceptable. Surely in a large store the cash office has a stash of £1 coins. So to run out is just incompetent. His people skills were pretty hopeless. Needs training. Crack on Sainsbury's otherwise you will loose more market share.

I have been using the Supermarket, here, religiously, for a good 5 years or so, but had never bothered to either utilise or visit the Café on the top floor. Decided to do so today. Was very pleasantly surprised indeed - staff very friendly and hard working. Clean venue. I can only rate this against other Cafes - rather than restaurants. The menu is sufficiently wide and varied - opted for a Vegetarian Mega Brunch meal (mushrooms, baked beans, chips, 2 Veggie sausages and 2 fried eggs) and a Cheese and Mushroom Omelette (hadn't eaten for 48 hours, due to an illness). What can I say? Two main meals for just over 8 quid, and very enjoyable indeed. Great vale for money.

We stopped at the cafe for a cup of tea before doing a quick shop, there was a good choice of food so we ended up having a bowl of tomato and basil soup with a bread roll and a perfectly cooked ham and cheese omelette, both were delicious. We were so impressed with all the staff - special thanks to Luke ( who has the most fantatsic personality and deserves to go far ! ) and the lovely Debbie. The cafe was clean & staff morale was exceptionally high.

Clean, comfortable, not too overcrowded and the quality of the basic dishes offered very good for the price. Service willing and itwas a treat to have crispy bacon instead of the usual flabby cafe offering!

Have eaten here a few times, and what one expects average for a cafe. The staff friendly and charming and so helpful. We took our friends to young boys for a lunch and they chose chicken nuggets and chips. These were definitely nuggets. NO CHICKEN just rock hard batter which is such a shame some 'kids' enjoy good food and will not be fobbed off - have not eaten there since.

The Sainsburys cafe in Cobham It is good for a basic meal at reasonable prices at lunch time. there is a limited but sufficient choice of dishes here. You order at the counter and the food is delivered to your table. Certainly more a cafe than a restaurant. Basically it does what is says on the tin .If you are visting Painshill Parkit is located almost opposite

Sainsburys Cafe is on the first floor above the sainsburys store. as the name suggests it is very mich a cafe culture. The choice is limited . However if you are doing your shopping in the store is is ideal for a basic meal at fair prices. You can have a typical English dish or jusy soup and a roll. The service is very mechanical and at busy times the tables are not cleaned quickly.

Lovely traditional pub but with the added bonus of fabulous Turkish kebab served in the garden. What a fabulous surprise that this hidden gem was tucked away at the back there.

No complaints at all about the fish and chips at £9.95. It was superb, 5*. But the tortilla with salad arrived without the dressed carrot and cole slaw mix, had to be sent back. No forks so had to use a tiny picnic one use with a proper knife. Courteous and helpful start.

The food here is prepared with little care or attention and is exceptionally expensive for the swill that is served. Eat here at your own peril and if you literally have no other choice.

I have eaten at the Bear a few times and the food has been excellent. Unfortunately this time (Sunday night) I thought it wasn’t up to standard. Soup was watery, pork roast came without crackling, new potatoes were cold, tenderstem charred. They did offer my parents two free drinks/or pudding as they both had the watery soup. I think for the price, they need to get back on top of the quality of plates they are serving. The service we had however was excellent and the waitress was very friendly.
