The lady in the till wasn't very nice. After telling us they run out of pasta and chicken, she gets upset because we didn't think in a second option straight away and took us an extra minute to order an alternative. We just ate here because it was already late for the kids, we assume the food is not great but at least we expect a good service to compensate the quality. And btw, how can they run out of anything being a supermarket?????

Visited on Monday afternoon, asked for an caramel iced oat latte. Pleasant staff at the till and my drink was made fairly quickly and I took my leave. However upon leaving I noticed the iced latte had a weird sherbert? Or powdered sugar like coating around the cup and on top. This separated from the latte and looked very unappealing. Upon tasting it, the coffee was foul and my partner agreed. I suspected perhaps the sherbet was what they used as the caramel flavour but it tasted like nothing and very weird texture to have in the drink and not expected at all. I did not go back and ask for another due to social anxiety.

Except once when I ordered fish fingers for my kids which wasn't fresh at all (It smelled like expired date fish fingers). It's been always yummy and good looking. The staff are not super friendly and I believe they need more staff. All in all we like eating there.

We waited quite a while for food which was ok but when it arrived my son and daughter had a total of 12 chips between them which is a bit of a liberty. The only good thing was the lovely male staff member who bought our food. But my advice would be don’t bother coming here to eat.

Not many there at 12.30. Came because M&S next door had a lengthy queue and every table occupied. That should have warned me. Fish and Chips was sold out so I went for a burger. Dire- it was horrible and the chips were luke warm. One of the worst lunches I have ever had. Very helpful, pleasant lady on the counter. Total opposite from the lady working in the eating area. I'll not be back.

Shockingly dirty in the cafe area and the food was substandard also. The service was not particularly friendly and the toilet facilities are also atrocious! Overall this was a poor experience and I would expect Tesco to do better. I don’t think I will ever return here for food again, really not a nice experience whatsoever.

Absolutely diabolical, management should be very ashamed of themselves. Visited on Monday 31st July with my wife and daughter at approx 1pm, the tables were covered in food and were not tidied away, half eaten plates of food just left etc Plates of food on the floor.. My wife stood and queued for 45 mins to get a coffee and order to then be told food would take a further 45-1.5 hours due to how busy it was. She suggested to staff that they should advise customers of this and put signs up but she was ignored. The manageress had an awful attitude. It should not be for guests and customers to clear and spray down the tables. I watched a family of 6 go around and do this and not even get a thank you. They could easily have got staff from downstairs to assist with cleaning plates of food it doesn’t require specialist training after all. On top of this Tesco appear to be doing the kids eat free or for a £1 promotion. But they can’t deal with normal customer traffic let alone free schools kids meals. The manageress should hang her bad attitude up, start being a team player and encourage her staff!

I had Brown toast, Beans, A large mushroom, Vegan sausages, Half a tomato, Avacado. Banana and walnut cake, Pot of tea for one. It was all excellent. I'm not sure why it is called a kiosk. There is a kiosk downstairs but there is also a large Tesco supermarket and cafe.

Ordered 2 burgers and a kids meal at tesco's café in Brooklands weybridge. Burger came out uncooked and when escalated to the team leader Megan, she was very dismissive and informed me that all food is probed before coming out. The customer service was very poor and uncaring about the quality, let alone the service.

I've been having breakfast here every Friday and over the last few weeks the food has gone down hill. The bacon is burn, the eggs are not done to how you have asked. Hash browns are burned and this isn't a one time problem it happend a a number of customers on after the other. The staff don't seem to care.

Upstairs at Tesco Brooklands is an excellent cafe. Up the escalator and keep going right. It is well worth finding. It is clean, spacious and the staff are great. The tables are socially distanced. The food is also good. I had a vegan breakfast. There was a picture of it and it looked very nice and is great to eat. I had mushroom, brown toast, tomato, vegan sausages and spinach as I remember it. It was terrific and very reasonably priced. I also had 2 teapots of tea. I'm not sure if the vegan breakfast is just on offer in January. I will go back in good time to find out.

Have to revise my review. Overall, the food is nice however the salad isn't very good. The biggest problem is that they are severely understaffed. Don't expect food to arrive very quick and expect the menu to be reduced almost every day. Also, while many years ago, the café had a nice and friendly atmosphere, it now feels drab and uninteresting. Ultimately, I would go to the M&S café next door

Tesco cafe Byfleet is really nice. It is a spacious and clean place to relax and enjoy a meal. It is great value. I had a scone with jam and a pot of tea. It cost similar to what other cafes charge for just a coffee. On another occasion I had a baked potato and salad. It was all really good. The staff are helpful. It seems a modest place that is great on quality.

Just popped in after the refurbishment of the Tesco cafe its much brighter more clean and staff are nice and welcoming. Nice clean tables. Even though the space us reduce a bit there are still plenty of tables. The chairs are nice charming pastel colours and a long soft bench. It's shame just as they reopened they might have close for a month because of covid restrictions again. I like coming here as its quiet and great to relax after hussle and bussle of shopping.. Will come again..

Awful. Avoid if you can. Eggs under cooked - cold. Sausages overcooked - cold. Charged 60p for HALF a fried tomato - cold. Bacon just about edible - cold. Baked beans cold. Totally unimpressed. Coffee hot but tasted awful.

Been here a few times recently. The positive point is the seating and tables is quite nice but that’s probably the best bit! One time I had the fish and chips which on that occasion was cooked to order and it was very nice. Other occasion I had the big breakfast where all the items except the eggs were under the heater on display. The tomatoes were stone cold, hash browns soggy and bacon was also cold. The sausages, fried bread and baked beans were ok. The service is something others have mentioned and I’ll agree that it does take them a while to clear up people plates etc. However for me the worst bit was the lady serving me clearly didn’t like working there, was literally throwing my food onto the plate and when the plate arrived (with fresh cooked eggs) she practically threw the plate in front of me. No mess or anything but sloppy behaviour but what do you expect from a Tesco cafe. Not going to be fine dining. But being considerate with food should be the norm. Will probably go again but order a meal and hope it’s cooked to order as it should be nice and hot.

Second visit and second fail. First time I visited was early 2019 when my party were served cold and inedible food in two lots meaning 2 people had finished when 2 were just receiving food. So to today. The offer was a ham omelette with a large mushroom on the side and a slice of toast. I asked for the ham to be replaced with mushroom so I had a mushroom omelette with a mushroom on the side and a slice of toast. It took 3 attempts and 2 members of staff to understand that all I wanted to change was the ham in the omelette to mushroom and even then I was served an incomplete plate. Whilst there is another cafe on the ground floor, the Tesco cafe is upstairs with access by both escalator and a lift but the lift is some walk away if you have difficulty. The toilets are just off the cafe. There are some lockable trolley parks as you enter the cafe but not all the locks work. People do take trolleys to their tables. It is a little noisy because you are overlooking the downstairs cafe. Tea is served in a decent pot that does not spill everywhere. In summary, whilst this time the food was hot and tasty, if incomplete, to save the hassle of there always being an issue makes me recommend you go next door to M&S if you just want something small and you are not a big family (cheaper at Tesco).

I visited the Cafe on a Saturday it was moderately busy. The have a lot of tables the should be cleared unfortunately. It was just disappointing to see as the food is good with the service welcoming. The furniture is very pleasant to sit but just need some attention in some of them to be cleaned. It a shame as I liked this place an they are competing with other cafes just below as well as MS next door. It's light and airy place up on the 1st floor of Tesco hall. The serve all your usual beverages and the price is reasonable. I must say i was impressed with the salmon and scramble egg bagle. Just unfortunate on my occasion it was not nice see tables still uncleared. Eventually someone started to clean up but u think they may need a help to keep on top of the amount of tables. But it still like this place.

Been here a few times for the 'all day breakfast' 9 times out of 10 they're not serving breakfast due to staff shortages. When they are still serving, the staff are slow, disinterested and poorly trained. A customer in front of me had to tell the staff to wear gloves when handling food after taking money. He then took my money with the gloved hand. There seems to be no management at all. Tescos say the cafe is nothing to do with them.

Service was absolutely dire. At 12:08 on the 11th November it took around 20 minutes to place an order and get it served. To add insult to injury it wasn’t even that busy. The staff were totally uninterested in their job and their customers. In the end I took my order incomplete because I didn’t want to wait another ten minutes for hash browns. Usually you get good value for money with good service, but not on this occasion.

No complaints at all about the fish and chips at £9.95. It was superb, 5*. But the tortilla with salad arrived without the dressed carrot and cole slaw mix, had to be sent back. No forks so had to use a tiny picnic one use with a proper knife. Courteous and helpful start.

Lovely traditional pub but with the added bonus of fabulous Turkish kebab served in the garden. What a fabulous surprise that this hidden gem was tucked away at the back there.

The food here is prepared with little care or attention and is exceptionally expensive for the swill that is served. Eat here at your own peril and if you literally have no other choice.

I have eaten at the Bear a few times and the food has been excellent. Unfortunately this time (Sunday night) I thought it wasn’t up to standard. Soup was watery, pork roast came without crackling, new potatoes were cold, tenderstem charred. They did offer my parents two free drinks/or pudding as they both had the watery soup. I think for the price, they need to get back on top of the quality of plates they are serving. The service we had however was excellent and the waitress was very friendly.
