No dogs allowed even in the pub. Shame

When I arrived dead on 1pm - today, I expected a queue as it was lunch time. The queue was so long it stopped folk walking to their tables....never mind.....then i was eventually told the kitchen was closed. This notice was stuck on a piece of A4 paper actually at the counter - so all those queuing couldn't see. I managed to order a couple of coffees and saw the sign saying a free cookie (or something like that) with a hot drink. I asked the lady assistant where they were (seeing lots of cakes etc behind the counter for some reason) and was told in an extremely brusqe mannerTHE KITCHEN IS CLOSED - so no cookie, so I asked politely for her to remove the notice. How come we could pay full price for all the cakes and cookies on show IF THE KITCHEN WAS CLOSED. Well done to the young man serving for constantly being spoken to with no respect by his colleague but keeping calm I love Waitrose but your cafe really let's you down

Awful again ordered jacket potatoes for our lunch waited a long time as fairly busy, food finally came but potatoes were COLD took back and they said they will sort it,waited a very long tile STILL cold as we were short on time and diabetic needed to eat we ate it as paid a Lot of money as this cafe only seems good for drinks tht is all we can have from now on. Shocking a jacket spud should be fool proof. Needs taffy who know how to cook and Check temperature of crap they are sending out. Couple on next table said their spuds were cold but she told him to shut up an eat.

First time I have been here for some years, and was surprised to see it is now a Dobbies Garden Centre with a Waitrose inside. I confess to liking garden centres more for the home stuff than the garden gear, so I was disappointed as there was not really that much on offer. We contemplated having lunch here but the menu looked poor and there weren't many customers in the café section which was probably telling. Also noticed Ladd's Garden Centre is now shut so that is pretty disappointing.

Went to Tesco's at Westwood cross Broadstairs, we have been there before me. And my wife and it has been pleasant. I ordered an egg and sausage muffin. Which I waited for about 15 minutes which was fine. and then it was given to me. And muffin had been squashed AND the server.Ask me if I would like another one because it was a mess. And I said yes, please. And he went away and then. The cook a man Come running out Holding the Plate and was very aggressive in the way.He spoke to me and my wife accusing us. Of squashing it. I will not shop in this Tesco's ever again. Because I did not receive what I paid for in the end. He took it away and left us waiting And gave us nothing This person needs talking to buy the management. And by the way, I do not blame the server.

This review is not about the Milton Keynes Store - I’m sure it’s fine… It’s about my on line shopping experience - I live in Milton Keynes area - I ordered over £270 worth of goods - clothing / paid for next day delivery received 1 items out of 10…. they paid the EXpress charge back but I am still Missing 9 items out of the order. They use Evri it is now 10 days way beyond standard delivery either Evri which is supposed to be up to 7 days.. I can see from tracking goods have not been delivered anywhere at all though Evri received them. Evri say if goods undelivered within 7 days contact original supplier you ordered goods with. I have rung M & S customer service line twice… I’ve written st least 4 emails…, I ordered the hoods for a business trip coming up This week…. They have not fulfilled their contract they ought to Refund me instead of fobbing me off with their internal investigation. Their courier company is their issue not mind - I haven’t received the goods therefore they should refund me instead of stalling. I would have reordered some of the items anyway but time is running out… We have always shopped with M & S in store and on line and always in past been Happy with them. They seem to Have gone downhill and their customer service agents seem poor and poorly trained and email Responses poor not very professional. Very bad disappointing experience. I would not recommend on line shopping with them.

This place is very dirty, tables are stained and dishes plus litter left. The floor is sticky, drinks are shoved in your face and spills everywhere. The sugar section is filthy. The tables are cleaned with smelly sponge cloth. Most importantly my tea wasn't tasty pg tips was better than teavana tea bag which cost me loads and the chocolate cookie was stale. God knows how long the cookie was sitting there for.

Wow. Bad. Waiting time 1 cappuccino ..11 minutes. People at counter = 2. Coffee out of 10 - 0! What I have noticed the last couple of years is Starbucks and Costa do not offer good service ice or good coffee. People have just got used to accepting poor a poor service and poor quality product. Trouble is most people don't know what good coffee or service is. I've decided , never again to these stores, going to stick to small privately run ones.

Held a party at The Pavilion Bar for my hubbies 70th birthday, the venue was brilliant, very clean the young lady behind the bar was lovely and Nigel Peters was very helpful would definitely recommend The pavilion.

This pub has permanently closed although it is still advertised on some hotel booking websites. There is no pub in the hotel, only a lounge bar and classic dinning restaurants.

We we ended up with vaguely coffee flavoured milk. Ordered a cappucino and a cortardo. Oh, they were awful. One can tell by their weght you're off to a bad start: too much milk. Perhaps this is the coffee equivalent of reversion to the mean: an unrelenting move back to the "milky coffee" of the cafes of my youth. Vaguely coffee flavoured hot milk but absolutely not coffee. Shocking. I am slowly adjust my order: will now include the words "foam" and "do not add too much milk". And I do know they can do it if they try. It's getting their attention that's important; and sending back the crap coffee (have done that when presented with semi-skimmed rather than the requested full-fat milk).

After popping into Greggs Saturday morning thinking I’d grab a steak bake and sausage roll as I was staying in Travelodge I have to say it was awful, the meat in the steak bake was like dog’s meat and cold at that and the sausage roll was also disgusting so both items went straight in the bin. Would never eat from this Greggs again Very disappointed

Came on Sunday afternoon for some lunch. Place looked good, football was on for the boys, pool tables for entertainment and a good selection of food and drinks on the menu. The guy working behind the bar was very friendly and welcoming. The other staff not so much. Most cocktails on the menu were off, only a choice of two or three. Food had to go back as it was cold. Was put in the microwave and brought back. I just found it unreasonable value for money for something that wasn’t enjoyable. £70 for microwaved food that returns dried up and means your all eating separately isn’t what I expected.

Used the cafe for the first time and will definitely be the last. 3 star hygiene should be a 1 ! Loose dog running around the kitchen, then the loose dog came up to my 2 year old sniffing her food. Desperately in need of a deep clean. Oil definitely needs changing, the smell was burning my eyes; hence the awful Chips. Oil must be very dirty, scampi was hard and crispy. Very expensive & poor value; the plates couldn’t get any smaller. On top of this terrible experience with the dreadful food, I’ve never come across such rude miserable staff. Would definitely not recommend. In desperate need of a visit from a health and hygiene officer. Only wish I’d taken photos
