Starbucks Coffee Shop in Spelthorne

Wow. Bad. Waiting time 1 cappuccino ..11 minutes. People at counter = 2. Coffee out of 10 - 0! What I have noticed the last couple of years is Starbucks and Costa do not offer good service ice or good coffee. People have just got used to accepting poor a poor service and poor quality product. Trouble is most people don't know what good coffee or service is. I've decided , never again to these stores, going to stick to small privately run ones.

Open till 8pm but no filter coffee at 5.30pm and not prepared to put another flask on Happy to sell black americano instead . If I wanted Americano I would have asked for . Biggest profit line after tea and they couldn’t be bothered to put on and there was no way they would . I would have waited for it Will not be back here

The food and coffee were really good but out of the 4 Staff members there, 3 clearly looked like they couldn't care less about the customers or their jobs and only 1 actually was keen and approachable but was mopping up and sadly not behind the counter. We waited five minutes to before actually being served, and when we were eventually served weren't ever welcomed or given an apology for the wait even though we were blatantly ignored by them. Not a good service, the coffee was mediocre, you could tell it was rushed and not made with love.

Called in to get a simple cup of coffee, queue for literally 10 minutes as the young lady member of staff incompetently struggled with an annoying customer and the till. It was something out of fawlty towers, the customer who spent 10 minutes ordering just 3 items apologised for being a nuisance (which she was) but the staff didn’t even acknowledge the ever increasing queue. The staff continued to fumble with till without once looking at me despite me standing infront of her. Then she walked off, where to I didn’t find out as I left for cafe Nero , where the service and facilities were superb In the last month I have visited this branch 6/7 times and never had anything near good service.

What a dirty disgusting hole. Food on the floor and over the tables at 10am. Slow staff who could care less if they tried! Shameful

Worst coffee in town it even tastes worse than McDonals. you certainly won`t find me there anytime of day!

Very friendly staff and always very quick with serving drinks. Nothing is too much hassle for them. The tables are cleared within moments of people leaving, if not they as soon as a member of staff is free

It is not easy to find a Starbucks branch in a small city in UK, as Costa Coffee is the trademark there. Good place in the middle of the city. Beverages are the same taste as in any Starbucks Coffee. Nice and decent place.

Popped in for a coffee, as Starbucks is usually my favourite, however on this day the shop was tatty with overflowing tables covered with dirty crockery. To top it all the person I gave my order to, although charming, had great problems understanding English and struggled to comprehend my order. The toilets also required attention beyond a good clean. Dissapointing !

Walked out when i saw dogs and food together. The area is very small and very uninteresting Needs re doing and i don't want to sit and have coffee near people bringing animals in there so pret a manger is better

Clean and tidy restaurant with friendly service and always very good coffee. Prices are on par with other coffee outlets.

They allow dogs in this coffee shops which with food served shouldnt be allowed and is an environmental health issue. They should be tied up outside. i soon left as there was several in my way so i went to another coffee shop where they rightly dont let them in.

One of the best Starbucks around the service is excellent too The staff were very friendly and very helpful Can't say too much. More but it's one of the best and friendly Starbucks around

Visited for a hot chocolate and cake on a cold blustery day. Warm welcome and atmosphere. Lovely drink and delicious cake. The staff on duty were fantastic friendly and helpful.

I stopped here for a quick drink whilst in Staines the service was excellent and th3e restaurant was very clean and well presented when I am ever in Staines I will be back again

I often enjoy a coffee and snack while in the town centre. They sell coffee beans than can be grinded at request to take home.

Coffee was sour and weak, obviously their coffee machine was not set up correctly. Staff did not seem to care when I complained.

Primero, el café es débil incluso cuando pida una pantalla blanca. 35 p para un extra shot significa que tienes que pagar 70 p en la cima de una taza de café ya es demasiado caro. Best coffee (I'm a SB fan) my favourite being either the Peppermint Mocha or Coconut mocha (either hot or as frappuccino's). This particular shop though is never super clean...

Love Starbucks, but never sure what size coffee to order. The Fruit Toast is amazing, best ever. Never have a savoury so cannot comment on them. Definitely would recommend.

いたって普通のスタバです。ハイストリートにあるので、週末はいつも込んでいます。店内がわりとコンパクトなので、もうすこし大きいところに移ってくれたらなあと思います。近々すぐそばにプレットもオープンするようなので、サービスや内装の向上、頑張ってほしいです。

I love Starbucks - its an addiction once you get the loyalty card and I love the Chai Tea Latte (skinny!).Anyway, the ambiance of most Starbucks is that you have some comfy chairs and some normal chairs and tables, depending on where it is depends on the balance of the style of the seating.Staines needs to have more of the comfy chairs where you can sit, read a paper or catch up with friends as if you are in your own home. There are far too many of the hard chairs and tables and the small number of comfy chairs means there are never enough. Suffice to say I never arrange to stop there with friends which means we spend less on cakes and refills.

I recently had a coffee and breakfast roll at Starbucks Sainsburys, Staines on a Sunday morning and am sorry to say I broke my tooth on a piece of hard gristle in the bacon! I immediately reported it and showed the supervisor my broken tooth and she took all the details and said I would hear from Customer Service department. I was not contacted so by Wednesday I contacted them. They said they would look into the case and get back to me which they did by the Friday afternoon.In the meantime I had to spend over 100 pounds to get my tooth repaired. Long and short of was, according to Customer Services, there was nothing they could do because it was not a "foreign body"! How ridiculous can you get.....their sandwich suppliers were using sub-standard ingredients and ultimately Starbucks is responsible for what is served to their customers. I wrote again and was told again there was nothing that they could do as it was not a foreign body and as far as Starbucks were concerned, it was the end of the case!I was not looking for a large compensation payout but just something to go towards the dental cost and a proper apology from the company; I got neither and clearly they couldn't care less what goes into their overpriced rolls.I rarely go to Starbucks as have always preferred Costa Coffee, but will definitely NEVER GO BACK to a Starbucks (anywhere in the world) and have passed the word widely AVOID THEIR ROLLS AND SANDWICHES WITH BACON!

I've enjoy Starbucks coffee where ever I go. Starbucks is my first choice to have a coffee. You don't find any different even you visit different shop and I enjoy my loyalty points form Starbucks.
