Costa in Spelthorne

Food I asked to be heated up given back to me barely lukewarm, coffee was, at best, drinkable.

Rude, unhelpful and definatly recommend the other costa in the high street ... they are lovely!

A great experience at Costa Coffee today. Really friendly and helpful staff who make the experience and atmosphere really positive.

Came in for a latte and a bit to eat. Some tables weren't clean so we found a table cleaned. Brought our coffees over for us.

Sunday 10h00 am, got into Costa Coffee in Ashford really looking forward for that latte and nice atmosphere, however, staff not showing much empathy, tables all dirty, not many costumers in, only 2 tables with costumers. Lack of professionalism in costumer service. Latte not as good as I am used with Costa. Disappointed.

Had a watermelon and mint cooler. It was very nice. It wasn't too busy and we were able to sit comfortably. It's just in comparison it's become rather expensive, also not always the cleanest place. Especially as there's another coffee shop on the high street which is always spotless .

The online opening hours needs updated, dont match the store opening hours. Nice friendly staff.

Always been a good place but on sunday they were 40min from closing and the staff clearly were too excited to go home and didn’t properly pay attention to any of us. Gave us take away cups bc they didn’t want to have to clean up .. even though we were sitting in. drinks were rushed and came out tasting really gross as one staff member literally left to go home mid way through making it … leaving her colleague confused on what orders were taken ..

Always handy for a coffee break. Love the app too get free coffee.

Customer service is always on point at this costa. Sarita remembers my regular order and makes you feel valued as a customer. Costa are lucky to have her.

Poor. 2 customers who were after me left with their drinks before I got mine. This place don’t value people and their times. On top of that I was seated and when I finally got my drink, it was served in a paper take away cup, so I waited even more after requesting my drink to be changed as I wished to have it in. A tip: if a customer is seated with a laptop, he is staying in, serve him a drink in a mug!!! Pay attention to your client and ask questions how they would like their drinks if you aren’t clear.

Great coffee and drinks at this branch always.

A well situated large Costa at one end of Ashford. The available space could've been utilised in a better way to offer additional seating but as it is, it offers a little more space than others. Downside though is they never have enough items in the cabinet and the staff, when available, cant be bothered to restock it . My advice would be to use the Costa at the other end of town, which is well stocked and maintained!

Fantastic staff wonderfully made coffee.

Costa has quite a decent range of hot and cold drinks as well as hot and cold food. For a large chain it always seems a little nicer than the main American counterpart. The staff in this particular Costa are very friendly

Came for a coffee at 11.00 Saturday. There are 3 girls who are really confused and don't know how to run the queue effectively. Another two looks young and not properly trained. I'm the 5th customer waiting in a queue took me nearly half an hour even without the hot food ordered flow just served hot drinks I notice qeue order skip and an impatient customer walk of. I worked in coffee shop before with much longer qeue. This should take not over than 10 minutes. Completely incompleten. Please sort this out.

terrible service always a que and hit and miss the order is correct. better training recomended. ask for take away given inside then wrong coffee it was a shambles

Nice little Costa shop with lovely staff that are helpful and polite. Been coming here since they opened and will continue to do so for many more years to come.

The bigger of the two Costas in Ashford. Quick, friendly and efficient service. Could maybe do with a seperate collection point from the order point as can have mixed up queuing when busier.

Every trip to the Ashford High-street, a visit at Costa is a must. Perfect location, excellent customer service, friendly staff.

Update Jan 21. Much improved service although it is much quieter due to covid restrictions. Friendly staff on the whole. It's a Costa! good coffee, comfortable and clean shop.

Service not great, tables not cleaned when asked to clear and clean so we could use them following their own guidelines his reply was he was too busy.

Coffee always good. They seem to manage under lockdown oh for they days when you can sit and chill.

Has takeaway but the cream on my frozen drink was out of date started drinking in on way home was nearly sick disgusting and unacceptable

This place is a con and a rip off. They charge for baby Chino and their prices are the same if not more than what is charged at service stations. VAT has been cut due to covid and all other Costa's have passed their savings on to customers other than this branch.

The manager is the rudest person ever. Even when you follow he guidelines she still shouts at customers.

I liked this costa and I come here very often one of the staff is extremely rude. I came to cista was standing there for mins and the guy is busy doing his things and waiting for you to disappear. Anyways as I standing there he has to take my order. I got the coffee with almond milk he charged me extea plus the way he acting/ talking was so rude. Never wants to come back till this man us working. No body is coming to the coffee shop to bare his attitude.

Extremely slow service. They took my money then made me wait well over 15 min for my coffee when there was only me to serve. Very bad no flavour in coffee. Totally gone to ruin this Costa. Thoroughly disappointed. Will not return to this one.

Absolutely horrendous service. Currently cash only, but no sign at all until the till, that means when people are queuing or outside, they cannot see it. No apology when people get to the till and are turned away. The manager was on the phone whilst at the till serving customers. Causing him to ignore them. Extremely busy and only 2 members of staff and the manager on the phone. One member of staff also extremely rude with the customers and very rushed. No one was listened to and nothing about track and trace etc was explained properly to people who may struggle with it.

They no lowered price re15 percent drop in vat but are pocketing the money so relates to 15 per cent extra you pay for your coffee 15 per cent more profit for them

The staff were SO slow, 3 of them behind the counter but took ages, also place needing tidying up, trays and plates everywhere

Came down to this Costa establishment on my break and the staff were extremely helpful and very polite, I think maybe during peak times there should be just one extra staff member working as the staff are working extremely hard. I'm suprised they didn't blow a fuse 😂👍🏼.

For what ever reason, whenever I go in this coffee shop the staff treat me like I really shouldn't be there. I never enjoy the experience so I will stay away. This I left over 2 years ago. Today I thought I would see if there had been any improvements and unfortunately NO. POSSIBLY WORSE. No customer satisfaction at all.

This costa coffee is one of the bests in the town. You will not regret. The shop is more than large and chairs, tables are comfy. Love it!

Very tired looking..... The server was using a broken coffee machine and the service was slow My last visit was 2 years ago and was 5 star now......... 3.

Clean, service is good, perfect opening times. Music at 6.30am is thoroughly depressing if you sit in, not enough to mark it down a star.

Love Costa Coffee, I drink a lot of coffee, and these lot always remember my usual drink, it's nice to just come and have a brew and chill out, good atmosphere. Although occasionally gets extremely busy and the queue is out the door, But, us British folk will just queue up as we always do and patiently wait to order. Downside, the food is of medium quality and WAAAY over priced!!!! 4 quid for a Sandwich?!?! Really!?!? I could get a whole loaf, 250g of cheese and half a chicken for that price, then I could make 8 Chicken Toastie Sandwiches. Is what it is I suppose, as I have in the past reluctantly purchased a sandwich from there.... when im Tony Stark for the day anyway.

There are 2 Costa coffee shops, both have friendly staff, plenty of seating available. Usual good selection of coffees, other drinks and food available.

The assistant manager Yoon is an absolute delight. She always welcomes me with a smile, and a nice chat. She is hard working, and i think she is a wonderful role model for the younger staff who are training. I think Yoon makes costa for what it is.

So they close at 6:30pm we come here at 5:00pm and half the shop had been closed off. When we arrived we were met with attitude and a roll of the eyes when we went to take a seat. I have mentioned this before to the manager Christian as this isn’t the first time I have come in early to find the shop closed off. Can you tell me why they have a sign on the door stating they close at 630pm: surely it doesn’t need to be closed off over an hour early? Perhaps the manager needs to make a surprise visit late afternoon.

Disappointing visit this time, my usual decaf costa light I'm told has disappeared from the till, service poor this time which is very unusual especially as only a few people in the shop. This is my local branch.

First visit for a few months, new sraff in there now, chatty and friendlier than before, still not one of my favourite Costa's but it's ok

So yesterday I popped into my local costa for a coffee with my daughter at lunch time where I was amazed and disgusted to see the girl serving the coffee was also washing and mopping the floor then went back to making our coffee without even washing her hands on top of that my vanilla latte was minus the vanilla and quite frankly it was probably the worst coffee I’ve ever had surely basic hygiene is a must when serving food and drink even my daughter was ooh Mum she didn’t wash her hands just yukkkkkkkk

Coffee was cold, also bought a Belgian chocolate frostino which was watery with hardly any taste of chocolate. Not sure I'd go back here maybe a training issue.

What can you say apart from it’s a normal Costa in a quiet high street with the standard Costa menu?

Got a takeaway americano and was served fairly quickly. Didnt seem that busy. Restaurant was clean at my time of visit. Service was lacking a thank you. Good standard of coffee.

Service ok, but didn't offer to open the door for me (I'm wheelchair bound) despite not being busy and 3 staff present. Thank God for there kind and helpful customers :(
