Go to rainbow regularly, in our morning visits we have there breakfast and in the afternoon's when I visit I have a tea and toasted teacake the staff are always happy and welcoming the food is great and and well priced and the restaurant is always spotlessly clean 😀

Camping in Canterbury for weekend and decided to visit here for dinner as TA Reviews were good. Upon arrival there was ample parking to be found. We entered the pub and were greeted by Ellie who was very bubbly and approachable. She showed us to the table and took our drinks order. She allowed us plenty of time to mull over the food choice and explained the specials to us as well as checking if we could deviate from the listed choices slightly. The time between courses was good. Not too long wait but certainly not rushed. Food was really good and reasonably priced too. £75 per couple for a 3 course meal and drinks. Ellie went out of her way to sit and chat with us and have some banter which was really good to experience, which made us feel like humans and not just a passing group. I love this little place where I sit doing my work, coffees are amazing, I always get jacket potato and it is nice and filling. apparently it’s through a charity, there’s always lots of classes of some sort upstairs…I went to toilets and it was very clean to say the least. There’s parking outside on the street only downside is it’s 2 hours… or there’s Barry train station, where you can park as it’s a 5 min walk well for me! The young girl at till is really polite and works hard. It does get busy here since there’s lots of mums with pushchairs every now and then but all in all a good atmosphere..I shall definitely go back for sure!
