Nish is very professional. He is always courteous and very efficient. He makes dining at The Bedford Arms a pleasure.

Very friendly, good access and ground floor toilets which were key for this trip.

I came on Saturday for some drinks and was served by the most lovely girl called Oria! She was very kind and made my experience here very pleasant and makes me want to visit again soon.

Went along on Saturday with some friends the other day and there was a lovely lady on the bar Called Oria who was so helpful and helped us with cocktails and treated us so well!

I was here on Friday with my boyfriend and we had a lovely experience! Our bartender oria was so lovely and really made our experience! I will definitely be coming back soon!

Absolutely wonderful experience at the Bedford Arms. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the garden was particularly lovely. Super clean throughout, well-maintained and a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The food exceeded expectations - beautifully presented, flavourful, and clearly made with care, great for catering to a veggie diet! What stood out most, however, was the exceptional service. Evan, in particular, was incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive - he made us feel genuinely welcome and well looked after throughout our visit. We’re already looking forward to our next visit and would highly recommend the Bedford Arms to anyone looking for a high-quality, enjoyable pub experience!!

The gentleman attending our table, Evan, was a credit to the establishment. He was attentive, friendly and highly professional in his approach. We’ve always found the Bedford Arms team are extremely welcoming.

The staff were lovely and I wasnpleased to get a table at quite short notice, but our table was squashed between two others and there wasn't really enough room. Foood was food though I'm nit sure I'd put chunksnif chicken breast with pasta - nice sauce though. Unfortunately it was mit very warm so I had to get it heated up, which our Waiter did very willingly and a very nice tp7ch was that they added a but more cheese and garnish so it looked fresh.

Dan made our experience very welcoming and looked after us throughout our whole meal. Without him serving I don’t think it would have been as good!

The Bedford Arms never disappoints. So much, that friends who don't live in Bucks always ask to meet there. Food today was great and the service was fantastic. Evan was absolutely wonderful and we had a good chat about the menu and the wine options too. Good recommendations on the wine. Great service from Evan, with a smile. Also many thanks for allowing us to have our Birthday cake on the table at the end of our meal.

Our waiter was Dan, an excellent and helpful guy very positive and polite. Top service. The food was very good and came very fast I definitely recommend eating here.

Lovely village pub with excellent Sunday roasts! Nice pub garden with plenty of room including a big teepee thing for shade/shelter. Will definitely be back.

Very good Mothers Day visit, great food and superb service. We all really enjoyed our lunch and loved the thoughtful dried flower posy gift. Would not hesitate to recommend this spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated venue. The outdoor seating areas are fabulous too. All in all a great pub that ticks all the boxes for a Sunday lunch.

The food was good and the staff were friendly. My only issue was putting a massive sign outside claiming to have a fixed price menu and a website that said that it was available Monday to Friday and then not serving it on a Monday lunchtime. Kids menu was good.

The staff,service and our beautiful room made this 2 night stay perfect - stayed when visiting family and going to Twickenham - Chorleywood station is just over a mile away (great taxi service outside). We love youngs pub stays and this country setting is superb.

Exceptional service at our dinner on Saturday night (16.11.24). Special mention to the young man with the Roman numerals tattoo - a masterclass in hospitality. Food and atmosphere good too. Will return.

Absolutely gorgeous pub! We had a lovely Sunday lunch for our mum's birthday and Robbie was so kind and looked after us really well, thank you! We had two kids under 3 and felt really welcome too. Will definitely be coming back!

I have eaten here a couple of times before, but it's been a few years. First, I will say, my parents enjoyed their meals. I ordered the haddock, which was overcooked, and the batter was very oily. The mushy peas had no taste and were very watery. We we given a bit of a discount but it was very disappointing. Friendly service.

We (a family of ten) enjoyed a very convivial evening. The staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. They made the evening very special and the food was very nice indeed.

Nice looking place, but no service. Made two attempts at the start and end of a circular walk around the Chess Valley, but no luck. Looks very understaffed, seemed they just had 1 waitress dealing with the hotel guests and covering the bar. Later in the day everyone seemed stressed but the place wasn't very busy. We would have liked to sit outside in the lovely garden but we would have had to sit in direct sunlight in the heat of the day Hoping they invest in staff and umbrellas for next summer, looks like it has a lot of potential

Overall, lovely pub with a great garden. The restaurant was however very understaffed which led to a poor service. Not the staffs fault at all; they were great and working hard but totally set up to fail by management. I actually felt quite bad for them - having to deal with so many complaints when they were clearly doing their best.

Wonderful place to eat, drink and feel well looked after!

Came back here on the strength of being here about a month ago, when we had a great experience. Brought five friends this time, one of whom declared he was going to pay for us all - very generous, but this added to the embarrassment when the experience became unsatisfactory. What followed was disappointing: the beef, ordered by three of us, was uncuttable, and therefore virtually inedible. Roast beef is a 'benchmark' meal for Sunday lunch, it has to be right. The service was very slow, I am assuming they were short-staffed. To provide balance, the rest of the food was good. Not sure that I would return.

A bit underwhelming for £17 and £19 each for a couple of average salads

We booked at a table for Sunday evening dinner. The dining rooms were beautifully furnished, staff welcoming and menu choice excellent. We had the lovely Bobby serving us who was an absolute joy, attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. We were inside but there is a lovely covered outside eating area, with a country garden feel and lovely enclosed lawn. The food and service were excellent and we would highly recommend.

Now a horrible and soulless chain pub venue run by Youngs. Used to be a beautiful independent country house hotel. Very sad.

Exceptional service, and honestly the most incredible steak I’ve had in a long time. The drinks came almost seconds after we ordered, then starters and mains just came at the perfect time. Lovely staff and would highly recommend. The rooms are also so beautiful - very soho home, beautiful interior- very impressed!

An hour after ordering food turns out we had been forgotten. Sunday roast was tasty after asking but disappointing service in general. Good food but only come here if you don’t plan to do anything else on your Sunday

We enjoyed our lunch very much added to by being looked after by Tracy, who in no small measure, added to our reason for booking lunch at the B.A. the following week & with a view to making it a regular visit. The only disappointment was the absence of Tring Brewery’s Sidepocket beer.

Very friendly staff especially Tracy who served us. It was spotless everywhere, even the loos. The food was lovely. My husband had fish and chips and I had the burger. Tracy asked us if we have any allergies before we ordered. I’m lactose intolerant and they changed the ingredients in the burger for me.

Stopped off while hiking in the area. Newly refurbished amd looks cosy and comfortable.Lovely warm welcome, fabulous menu, delicious food. Definitely worth a detour to enjoy.

Warm and friendly place. I stay in the area twice a week for work. Usually in West London. Well worth an extra 30 mins commute to stay in a much more pleasant and friendly environment.

The pie and mash was fantastic, gravy was delicious. Jana was brilliant.
