This is my favourite cafe in the village. The menu is good but flexible and the service is friendly. It has a small but nice outside seating area including a covered section. The quality of the food is consistently high and the salads are always fresh.

Sharing my favourite Art Cafe! - run by a friendly, helpful and caring family - with great value and tasty freshly cooked food and delicious coffee -this is our regular brunch spot! With rapid service including veggie and vegan options, and are cycle and dog friendly with a sweet courtyard garden at the back - a characterful independent cafe with local art to enjoy your latte with friendly company! On the edge of Lyndhurst you can walk out into open forest within five minutes- what more could you ask for in the centre of the New Forest?!

What a fantastic find! So pleased to have found this place - the service is excellent, and the food is all freshly prepared to order, and what’s more, it’s delivered quickly and in generous proportions. The husband & wife team that run this place are friendly & kind, and you can see how much they care. When I eat out, I always hope to get as good as or better than I could make myself… this place has never disappointed once.

Looking for a decent breakfast in Lyndhurst, we walked past the more 'up market' looking places that had queues and decided on this one which had tables available. Well worth seeking out, this family run cafe was fine with great service , clean and friendly too.

Friendly welcome, friendly service and very important......dog friendly. I had a Nutella Latte, which despite the Nutella was not sickly sweet and would definitely recommend. Both had same baguette, prawn with spicy avocado, a nice extra touch was the baguette was slightly warm, a trick missed by most English cafes. The salad garnish was fresh and crisp, it complimented the baguette as opposed to just being used as a plate filler. Cost....great value for money.

My wife and found this little gem among the other, much more expensive, cafes in Lyndhurst. We only required breakfast, and were well impressed with the helpfulness of the staff, the quality of the for and the speed of service. We liked it so much, we went back the following day for breakfast too. We'll certainly seek it out if in Lyndhurst again.

Nice cafe in Lyndhurst, good menu with lots of choice. Little courtyard area at the rear. Friendly family business with good service. We come here quite regularly as we live in Lyndhurst, & as the cafe is towards the Bolton’s Bench end of the village it can sometimes be a bit less busy & so we’re more likely to be able to get a table.

We love this cafe in Lyndhurst. My husband and son usually have the late breakfast and I always have the prawn salad. So many prawns and such fresh 'real' salad - not just 'leaves' - tomatoes, cu, crispy lettuce and onion. Delicious.

I visited this lovely cafe with a friend of mine whilst on a short break to the New Forest . We both had a baguette and a mug of tea..My baguette was a prawn one and there were so many prawns done with lettuce onion and tomatoes and a lovely rose marie sauce . A side salad and coleslaw ..and the mug of tea was lovely and refreshing..all for a reasonable price of just over £6.00.My friend had a brie and grape baguette and there were lots of grapes and plenty of brie... Fabulous. Really nice setting and one can sit in the sun outside and smoke if you so wish or just sit in the sun and eat. There is also room inside and it's a charming place. The service is lovely too.. very nice people . Thoroughly enjoyed my hour with my friend chatting about our 3 days camping enjoying the nice lightbread baguette and the ambiance of the cafe . Would reccomend anyone going to lyndhurst pop on and try it .

The other day me and my friends came to Lyndhurst for a day out and decided to try out a new cafe, as we have already tried a majority of the others. This has to be one of the best restaurants/cafes in Lyndhurst. Absolutely incredible, friendly and hospitable staff and lovely food. I recommend the spicy avocado and bacon panini, as it was delicious. The atmosphere is very welcoming and cleanly. The coffee is also the best in Lyndhurst, there is no point visiting another cafe when one as fantastic and reasonably priced one as this exists. 1000% recommend!!

My first visit to this cafe, recommended by one of our group. I would describe this place as a hidden gem, would be easy to overlook as at the end of the High St and you pass lots of other eateries to get to it. It doesn't really stand out either but once inside its quite welcoming. We sat outside in the small courtyard garden at rear which could do with a bit of attention, a few broken rattan chairs and a few plants that were past there best didn't do it any favours. More plants in tubs would brighten it up and new chairs and some pretty plastic tablecloths would really improve it. Two of us had Croque Monsieur which was served with a very generous salad and it was really very good, good value at £4.95 , the other had a vegetarian baguette with feta and roasted veg and lots of salad, looked delicious and wholesome, same price. We had soft drinks and coffee and hot chocolate to finish and all felt very satisfied. The service was good and staff were very pleasant, I will certainly pay this place another visit when in Lyndhurst and would happily recommend

Made a pit stop in Lyndhurst to look for breakfast, there certainly is no shortage of café's, tea rooms and restaurants in Lyndhurst. This was one of the busiest, normally a good indication. We had a fantastic Big Breakfast that came with an excellent super strong coffee. Good portion size, not too greasy and cooked to order. Friendly staff and very reasonably priced £7.95 for a big breakfast and coffee.

My mum and I have dined in this cafe, twice (December and January) and found it friendly and welcoming with a varied and interesting choice of menu.On both occasions, we chose the mini-breakfast with a cup of tea. This consisted of bacon, sausage, egg, slice of toast and pot of jam (and tea of coffee.) It was cooked beautifully, no oil or grease in sight! And priced at only £4.80, which is amazing value for money - a rare thing these days! The owner is friendly and delivers your food promptly and always with a smile! His establishment is spotlessly clean and the menu offers something for everyone and judging by the other dishes coming out, I would gladly come again and order something else off the menu - as it all looks delicious! He caters for everyone, as there is an impressive vegetarian choice and every dish is cooked from scratch - none of that awful boxed meals that are placed in the microwave! There are books and magazines placed on a table at the back to browse through and also books for children. There is also a delightful sun terrace at the back of the cafe and a toilet which is always very clean and well attended to.I thoroughly recommend the Cafe Parisien and aim to come back again soon!

Stopped here for a cuppa and a cake, when we went in the café was deserted, we sat down at old fashioned French tables, which I know look the part in France, but not quite right here. Staff were friendly, there were biscuits in glass jars on the counter and was asked what they were, but the man behind the counted didn't know and then said he was covering for the owner, so we skipped the biscuits, and just had tea and café, both of which were absolutely spot on, lavazza coffee and decaf tea.

We had breakfast here and the range of items was pretty good. The food was excellent value and service was OK. The menu has more English items on it than French, so if French food is not your thing don't be put off. Whilst we only had breakfast here, there appeared to be a very good range of lunchtime baguettes sandwiches and animi's at exceptional prices but having not tried them I cannot comment on the quality. The location of this café is excellent and if you want a quick breakfast and exceptional value you could do far worse.

At the side of the Carey’s Manor hotel in Brockenhurst, welcome to France! Very friendly staff who gave impeccable service and delivered quality food. The decor is very much Parisian, the soup a L’oignon being the star of the show for me and my wife’s L’agnean main dish was sublime. Roll on when we return to the New Forest next year.

We have several breakfasts during our stay. Overall very good, great produce. Sadly our last breakfast this morning was a little disappointing. My husband found his (and my) bacon super over cooked. I asked, apologising profusely, if I could have an extra sausage instead (as couldn’t eat the bacon). Unfortunately the sausage came 20-30 mins after we received our breakfast (I’d assumed they weren’t going to do an extra sausage). We were packing up to go, plates already cleared away when a sausage arrived. Shame. Don’t know if it’s coz it was Monday… different chef or what. Left a little disappointed.
