Staff are really friendly and helpful. Food is good and served in a timely manner. Tables are always tidied as soon as customers leave. All in all a nice place to have a coffee, something to eat with friends or family.

Many things were not available today. I ordered the chili con carne and avocado. The 3 bean filling had chilli but the avocado topping had CHILLI 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️My friend ordered avocado on toast and that was full of chilli too. No saucers for cups, no plates for sandwiches. No salt or pepper on tables or offered.

Worst flat white I have ever had!!! Barista was super miserable and just heated the milk and poured on to a like warm espresso. Milk was not textured or swirled at all. Coffee just looked like a white americano. If your going to charge stupid prices even more than costa or Nero at least make an effort and train your staff to make a decent coffee. Have a look at the picture and see what M&S think a flat white should look like.

Had the misfortune to eat and drink in the cafe . Surfaces and floor disgusting , supervisor overlooked everything . Would not eat or drink here again. Basic hygiene zero.

Today my friend and I visited the cafe, there was a long queue to be served and the staff didn’t seem to have a clue. The thing that was holding everyone up was the coffee, would suggest they have two people on there permanently and other staff to take the payments. When we did sit down the table was dirty and others had trays waiting to be cleared. It is not cheap to eat there and the service is poor. When our soup arrived we had to send it back as it was lukewarm. Such a shame your staff are letting you down. We then visited the toilets, paper all over the floor and pee over the seats. What is M &S coming too it’s certainly not projecting a premium brand store. Not impressed, plus it was cold in the store.

I was under the impression that afternoon tea is ideal for a special treat. I chose Marks and Spencer's cafe to celebrate my elderly Mums birthday, however, there was nothing special about it! On arrival, the person at the till didn't appear to know anything about the Afternoon Tea – it took ages to find it at the till and because it took so long a queue appeared behind us. Eventually, we were given a number to the table, but not that made any difference. We waited over 30 mins and nothing arrived. During this time others got served their orders but we didn't. Eventually, we went over to speak to the. staff to ask where our order was. It was literally like they had forgotten us! I was then taken to the refrigerator and asked what sandwiches didn't I want! I was given 4x pack of sadnwiches – they were still in the plastic boxes just shoved on a cafe tray – not presented on an afternoon serving stand! After this, the staff brought the scones to our table. All shoved on one plate. Not warmed (we had to ask for this) we weren't even given any plates to eat from. So our afternoon tea was eaten from plastic sandwich boxes. We used saucers as plates for our scones. Not at special. We ordered extra coffee which was like dishwater – terrible didn't drink it. The staff were lazy and uninterested. Do not bother going to M&S for your afternoon tea. It's not special in fact it's not a nice experience. You might as well take your money and throw it done the drain. RUBBISH

Restaurant a mess with dirty cups and plates everywhere. No where to sit as a result and no cakes or scones. Left in a hurry.

Staff are so over worked and understaffed it’s an absolute disgrace to the brand. Cafe staff are doing the job of twice at least and I could see the stress levels trying to give the service the customers deserve. Clearly management need to address this situation ASAP. The cafe staff are being worked like slaves without support. I’m surprised any of the staff put themselves through this with blatant lack of support.

Food is fine, coffee and a scone so nothing too challenging. Staff lovely but run off their feet. No one seems to be in charge. Queue of over 15 people, one person on the till, 9+dirty tables, staff covering tills, cleaning tables and serving food. Where is the support for this poor team. Where are the COVID precautions. M&S l expected better.

We went for coffee and it took such a long time, as they only had a few staff on. Everyone was not happy. The coffee was ok, but the experience queuing for 25 mins, took the M&S experiences away.

Dreadful. Scramble eggs tasteless! No butter on the toast. Coffee was awful. Need to up your game on the food front in your cafe's

Absolute terrible, We had coffee and toasted teacakes, coffee was tasteless, teacakes we're cold and slightly burnt, hi had to leave it. Not good service at counter

M and S in generally in free-fall from the halycon days of yester-year with their customer service and processes not fit for purpose. We went into the Cafe after another customer service problem when a £5--00 discount voucher failed to scan at the Food-Hall Till and it took them 15 minutes to sort it out with no apology other than there were not sufficient staff available owing to Xmas rostering (not my problem). At the Cafe the ladies in my party self selected cakes etc etc ordered coffees, I wanted a Bacon Roll which it seems is prepared to order and comes later (much later). There is no explanation that the Bacon Roll is a later add-on, you have to work it out for yourself. The staff looked under pressure but the one who finally brought the Bacon Roll was pleasant and had added some sauce in a packet (thoughtful). The issue here appears to be planning, organisation, motivation and training. Very sad this operation used to be the market leader in retail.

Popped in for coffee and a snack. My wife's snack needed warming up. By the time it arrived I had finished my snack and drink and she her drink. Not good M&S! Are you the next to go to the wall?

Really time that store management woke up to the fact that the restaurant cannot function with inexperienced staff when it opens on a Sunday morning. Someone needs to turn the hot water on before opening, having to wait 45 minutes for coffee not acceptable.

Decided to grab some lunch with my partner and our 4 month old before a swimming lesson. Found a table fine although it hadnt been cleaned...and looking round there was another 3 or 4 tables that were just sitting with rubbish on them...the cafe wasnt busy either so there was no excuse! Even having our food brought over to the table nobody decided to clean it! My partner accidentally spilt his drink and some got on the floor so I went over to a member of staff who quite frankly looked lost...asked him for some napkins as a drink had been spilt and he just pointed to where they were...no help was offered...no one came over with a mop so ended up being a sticky mess on the floor. There was two members of staff behind the till who even when the cafe had no customers were just sitting behind the till and chatting while tables were dirty and taking no notice! Most of the workers looked very young so either need some extra training or need someone with experience to show them what real customer service is. Just overall had a horrible experience and wont be going back...would expect more from an m&s cafe. Had better service at McDonalds!

Visited the cafe Saturday 9th Feb at 13.22. Total lack of organisation, ordered 2 coffees and scones had to wait for a table, although there were empty tables they were piled up with dirty crockery.Some still not been cleared when we left. coffee was cold when we managed to find a clean table. I had to go and ask for a knife 3 times as there was none available, The lady at the servery looked under a lot of pressure and was trying to get the food out. But basic hygiene rules were not followed same young people clearing tables and handling food?.

I am always impressed by the very friendly informative helpful & proactive M&S Kingston staff.The staff ensure a great shopping experience & the store provides a great variety of food & clothes.Also i have discovered the great M&S in store CAFE here that does excellent delicious beer battered Fish & Chips & other meals plus great latte & coffee.A friendly welcoming shopping experience for varied clothes, food & providing fresh cooked food & also hi-tech bakery Oven too ! Very convenient store & location & very helpful staff. Always a pleasure to shop here at the Marks & Spencer at the KINGSTON Shopping Centre, Milton Keynes.Michael

I always go to marks & spencer as my first choice of a coffee stop but I've come to find recently their are no biscuits being given with our hot drinks anymore, although a small issue I always enjoy dipping the biscuit into my tea/coffee. With the price of the food/drinks I think we deserve a free biccies?.

ordered a mushroom and cheese toasted sandwich and although tasty bread seemed as if it had been heated in a microwave and was soggy rather than toasty

Yet again another disappointing visit to a Marks & Spencer’s cafe. This service at the tills was very slow and the staff made it look hard work taking orders and making drinks, on the cake selection half the plates where empty and not cleared away. But what made me smile was a lady had just returned a hot chocolate which she informed the staff members that is was stone cold. Funny that I had that problem a couple of weeks ago. So nothing has changed . It look to us that the staff where very young and looked like rabbits in the head lights. Marks & Spencer’s sort it out.

Long wait to be served cheese and ham toasted sarnie one side white the other looked as if it had been colour rolled soggy not nice at all

Although very busy with early Christmas shoppers in mid November the restaurant was very efficient. The staff are clearly very well trained and our ordered food arrived very speedily. Also very tasty and excellent value for money

I had a coffee with a friend at M&S; cafe Stadium. Very expensive and quality not that great. Only kids are working in that cafe so not serious at all. There is a nasty smell of bins! I will never go back. I have already found another place ( clean) where I can enjoy a nice coffee at a good price!

Pasamos una tarde rara, así que decidimos tratar yo de un viaje a M&S; café. El café americano era agua justo marrón - no había sabor del café. Tenía dos sorbos y luego no podía soportar más. Elegimos una porción de tarta de café y nuez para ir con lo que estaba bien. No es el regalo que había estado anticipando. Como otras personas han comentado, no está limpio - no ponga su bolso en el suelo.

La comida era muy buena, aunque sólo dos llegaron inicialmente, pero el otro estaba a sólo 5 minutos detrás.

The products in M&S; cafe are over priced and the quality is not that great. The M&S; cafe in Stadium is not very clean. There is not a lot of choices for kids. And if you suffer from allergies do not bother to visit M&S;.

Estábamos en Marks and Spencer temprano en la mañana del sábado y necesitaba un café me decidí y algo de comer. Más whelmed por la elección de tortas como de cola y tuve Bakewell y mi esposa torta de zanahoria. Tanto excepcionalmente sabroso y nuestros lattes eran algunos de los mejores que he probado en mucho tiempo. Muy limpio y bien dirigido (como se habría esperado de M y S.) Vi miembro del personal tomando las temperaturas de la comida, así que estaría asegurada la seguridad de la comida, que era muy alentador. Recomiendo encarecidamente este café si estás en esta zona, aunque caro. casablaca

Stopped for breakfast and coffee. Nice atmosphere, cheerful staff. Very nice cup of coffee. Definitely worth a visit.

Mi madre y yo vinimos aquí ayer y el té de la tarde era delicioso. Un montón de selección y una gran relación calidad-precio por £12.95 . Nos dieron dos sandwiches cada mini pasteles y un bollo cada uno era una delicia. Para una tarde...

This place is worth it for that cake alone! It is gorgeous... But they also do great coffee! Great atmosphere and choice of food!

Had our lunch here before shopping with friends :) ENJOYED it very much . Staff helpful and friendly :) Will visit next time over from Canada again.

My husband and I decided to give this cafe a try but we're very disappointed with the standard of the coffee. It was very weak, with little taste. We won't be risking it again I'm afraid. So many of major coffee chains produce consistently good coffee so how can Marks and Spencer get it so wrong?

Popped in for a coffee this afternoon. Staff friendly was served quickly unfortunately the coffee tasted very strong .Pleasant place to eat very clean and has a nice atmosphere. Will be popping in again soon.

Visited the Marks and Spencer Cafe this morning for a spot of breakfast before hitting the shops. There was a small queue at the tills, but only 1 person on the till. When we were eventually served, we asked and paid for 2x Salmon and Scrambled egg on Toasts. The lady on the till was looking very unhappy and barely said a word. We waited for our food and when it came, we were given Bacon and Scrambled egg on toast... When we informed the server that we had ordered salmon, she simply ignored us and walked away! Food was however delicious. Slightly overpriced for the amount of food you are given but was lovely.

I visited here today with my wife and three daughters and was really unhappy with the service. I was given the wrong type of tea and the wrong sandwiches to that which I ordered. The tables were also dirty and not cleared away. My sandwiches, tea, milkshakes and cakes were all delivered at different times so we either had to wait a long time to eat together or eat separately. When I told the staff that my tea and sandwiches were not what I ordered they just took them away, when they eventually returned the tea was just put on the table with no word spoken. Instead of enjoying a nice cup of tea with sandwiches and cakes this turned out to be quite an unpleasant experience. I complained to the manager at the restaurant but was not happy with his response to complained at customer services. The manager at customer services was very professional and understanding and after listening to what I said gave me some vouchers.

Popped in for a sandwich before clothes shopping expedition. Found they did a very good value afternoon tea. Daughter thought there wasn't a lot on the cake stand. Surprisingly after the 4 little sandwiches and two little cakes we couldn't manage the cream scone. Will definitely do that again.

This cafe was such a find. Amazing amazing cakes and food with the finest quality products. The coffee was lovely too and I was impressed with the barista remembering my long list of coffee requirements! The cafe has a lovely feel and even when heaving with people, it is still very pleasant.

Early Friday afternoon - lots of staff buzzing around - but cleaning a table means showing it a cloth. Empty tables still dirty with crockery - young lads struggling as to how to load a tray sensibly to take the used crockery away. Queuing at the order point - only one till open. Barista services - young boys giggling and getting in each other's way. Second till opens. Older lady who has to make teas and coffees on her own. No idea about prioritising her order or multi-tasking - quickly brews tea then slowly makes coffee. Yes it's a pleasant light area, but that's about the only positive.

Visited for coffee yesterday. Very nice food and coffee was great.Staff very pleasant as usual.Always a nice place to meet up

Love the new veggie filling for Jackets - Mushroom Stroganoff. It makes a change from cheese and beans that is the norm - Well done M&S! The windows are large and make the restaurant lovely and bright and look onto the Stadium.

Went with some friends as a treat. The children's meal deal is very good value for money. All the cakes are very yummy we shared a few between us. Also good as they have 5 high chairs plenty for a smaller cafe. The cafe its self is very bright and open with big windows. The staff are all friendly.

Visited for a coffee yesterday and today.Staff very friendly.Coffee always awful and tastes very strong.The air conditioning is very cold over some of the tables and when I visit I always have to move on to another table.Customers often say don't sit there or you will freeze. Would not visit but no alternative at the moment.Room for improvement.

I visited the cafe with my mum after a good old shop..! Was welcomed by such friendly staff and even though it was busy I didn't feel rushed and my order was processed quickly. I enjoyed a latte which was made perfectly and mum enjoyed her coffee and cheese scone. The staff clearing the tables were talking to most of the customers and the cafe team looked like they were enjoying themselves.

Went for lunch on my tod here last week, had a caramel latte and a sausage bloomer, the caramel latte was awesome and young Bradley made it look pretty as you can see in the photo. The sausage bloomer was really good and Nicola had a chat with me as I was by myself (they wear prominate name badges). The staff were really nice and the food really good. Will be taking the missis in for their tea for two for £10 :-)
