The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South East

Just a few words ‘could do better’. Lovely setting, popular but gone down hill since last visit. Staff could do with some training.

Así que no es frecuente que llegue a salir a desayunar, pero este lugar tiene un desayuno brillante por un precio realmente razonable! Todo estaba bien cocinado, la comida estaba caliente y el servicio era bueno. Si volviera a Oxford volvería aquí para desayunar de inmediato, ¡ni siquiera me gustaría molestarme en probar en ningún otro lugar!

Peor servicio, esperamos más de una hora para una botella de vino de la casa. Pedido un reembolso y una compensación dijeron que no. Si no puedes facilitar un domingo ocupado necesitas más personal en el lugar y dejar de tomar órdenes de peipla de no puedes seguir el ritmo

They keep playing the same 2 or 3 songs over and over... please change the music !! Otherwise lovely shop and nice coffee and range

Nice new restaurant very pleasant staff but very disappointing food I only wanted a simple Panini but it was poor quality and not cheap plus the Cappuchino was weak won’t be going back here to eat for a while let’s hope it improves.

Afternoon tea was lush! Couldn’t fault it service was great plenty of sweet and savoury cakes and nibbles. Fairly priced nice atmosphere!

Using their wifi is like being punched repeatedly in the face, except i don't get knocked unconscious so the pain continues perpetually. Useless.

Pass by many times but this time I have decided to give it a try and do my usual coffee break here. The space is alright, the service was okay and the coffee was good. The atmosphere was not the best but the location compensate. I will come back for another coffee breaks.

Avoid this place..tried to rip us off.charged my friend £20 for a baileys. Pint of cider & a pint of lager to which my friend asked whats the price of the beer & cider & the still wet behind the ears lad said £5 a pint so it's £10 for a baileys. He replied it's a double & we only asked for a single. I said why did you give my wife a double instead of a single cus she might be driving & thinking its a single & drinking it could put her over the limit. He unbelievably said " my brother told me to " & I said where's your brother? He said he didn't know. You couldn't make this up could you.. they obviously knew we weren't from the area & tried it on because there's no way it was a double baileys but charged for it..the locals wouldn't use this place if these prices were for them. I asked the guy at the bar in our hotel about it & he says him & his mate's go in & aren't charged that much. On the Saturday night we went to a nice pub up the road & the gaffer said it's happened before with tourists being over charged. So folks if you do go in the SNUG BAR be very careful of what your being charged. Plenty of better pubs than this close by anyway..

Impossible to eat, you do not get any service! Stay in a budget hotel, they have better service. I am writing this while sitting in the restaurant

We'd stopped here once before as it was 10 minutes off M25. As before it was perfect fir us to bring two elderly parents. Food was delicious and service was quick. Elderly parents appreciated tea in a china teapot too. Only slight complaint was the necessity to walk through the garden centre to get to the restaurant.

Went on a Saturday morning wasn't too busy but still had to wait quite a long time ordered to breakfasts and some pancakes with drinks it came to almost £40 which is extremely steep. The drinks were made well, the food came out quick maybe too quick as my eggs on my breakfast were cold, spoke to someone who said they would make some more but had a horrible attitude. Not on m&s expensive and poor service

Chilston Manor hotel is a lovely hotel with friendly staff but I and my husband were very disappointed with what they call a luxury afternoon tea…we had three little finger sandwich's with hardly any filling in them….dry scones…what was nice was the sausage roll,we had to ask for the tea as it didn’t arrive,when it did it was stewed & strong…will be returning NO !!!!

It’s disheartening to come across places like that—it feels like a missed opportunity. While I understand the goal of accommodating different budgets, good food doesn’t have to be expensive. Unfortunately, the food at the café was quite underwhelming. Next time we visit, we’ll probably just stick to coffee. The food looked uninspiring and lacked freshness. We tried a vegetable tart and an egg and bacon roll; the pastry of the tart was bland and quite greasy, and the roll was disappointingly average, served only in a plain, dry white bun. The service was poor—staff didn’t seem interested or attentive. Our tart was even served without a fork or knife. Food quality across the country has improved in recent years, but sadly, this place doesn’t seem to have caught up.

Normally go 3 times a week to sit and do schoolwork on phone or laptop however was asked to leave since tables are for paying customers only and as someone who's place of work has a cafe aswell, I completely understand and was more than happy to leave. However being spoken to the same way a 5yr old would be was aggravating to say the least. The other part of my job is with kids of all ages and when they're 7 or under we have to crouch down and use hand gestures to help the kids understand better, that being said I did not appreciate this grown man doing the same to me, especially in a public place. It felt verry dehumanising and embarrassing specially when he could have asked me to leave the same way you would any other adult.
