Customer service all round in Bognor Regis Sainsbury’s is appalling. The staff are so rude on the floor downstairs helpful they just turn their back on you and walk away. I don’t know where they get the staff from but I think they need to go back to the classroom and learn some customer service, they have no respect for people so they don’t deserve any respect back

the cafe kept being closed and we got tired of endless excuses like fuses blowing! i dint think they keep staff! the breakfasts were cold and it still hasnt improved

Service and food below acceptable Very disappointing. Long wait for food and when it arrived was very underwhelming. Both vegetarian and meat breakfast was served luke warm and food can only be described as watery and not tasty. Mushrooms and tomatoes, zero taste but very watery. Veggie sausage and meat sausage very pale and bland. Tasteless bacon. Baked beans ok, just not very warm. Toast already buttered which would be nice if served soon after but this was not the case so very soggy. Eggs snotty in places overcooked in others....no idea how they managed that!! Drinks didn't arrive and when questioned we were told we'd been called 4 TIMES to collect them. We hadn't been told we needed to collect our drinks and nor did we hear the alleged 4 calls! Why not tell us when ordering what the expectation is?? £15 for 2 breakfasts and drinks but sadly can't recommend or say we'd return.

Lovely breakfast with my son when he was on holiday in Bognor with me all hot and cook well. price is very good. coffee latte was good to.

We last visited before covid but the cafe had gone seriously downhill, Tried it again today and what a difference!! What fantastic value for money , even cheaper than spoons!! Order at the counter collect your drinks and table number, cutlery etc and they bring your breakfast over to the table – arrived quckly and was hot – take note spoons! For £5.50 you get 2 sausage 2 bacon mushroom hash brown, beans, tomato and toast, coffee excellent too, although if you wanted a 2nd coffee you will have to join the queue again which could be a pain if busy but overall 9.5/10

This place use to be quite good but now the food is awful the lasagne was like a cheap ready meal as was the chicken tikka masala coffee was acceptable. I told my wife to remind me not to eat here again.

Only reason I did not give 5 stars was the beans are always cold on the breakfast no point complaining as the rest would get cold while replacing them

Excellent service and product we have been there for breakfast three times now when we come down to the Caravan and the plate of food is very consistent my only minor complaint is that on all our occasions the beans were cold ....not even warm ....still ate them as my grand daughter prefers them that way....otherwise great price and value J.Js

Had lunch in the cafe with our Grandson. Food was acceptable for the price but quite a long wait. One of the dishes we wanted for our Grandson was Fish Fingers... Then we were told they had ran out!!! Afterwards we went shopping and guess what? Fish Fingers in the frozen aisle. You should NEVER run out of anything in a store this size. Basic logistics, people; when you’re getting low on a product, pop downstairs!

Don’t come here very often as always have to wait so long- but husband on crutches and there was a lift so gave it another go. Only wanted coffees but again took so long big queue just need more staff to serve - nice enough girl on duty but again had run out of certain things, it’s been the same since cafe opened and time to listen to reviews however very good prices.

Have been here twice now and I was completely unimpressed both times. The staff just come across miserable, always a queue, dirty tables and half the drinks/food arent even available. I tried 3x to order a drink but each one wasn’t available!! It was an embarrassing situation. Shame really as has potential, needs a reboot. Hoping for a 3rd time lucky? Or maybe just avoid and pop to Costa!

I just feel that if you get the right person serving its great but get some staff its a night mare you might just as well turn round as you will wait for ages not good

I ordered a mushroom omelette with salad. The salad was ok as were the mushrooms but the omelette seemed to be a rubbery and dry version of an American style pancake. Odd rather than disgusting. Not to be recommended.

Sadly I visited on a Sunday when a lot olf the menu wasn't available. They did do sausage paninis though and they were great. The sweet potato chips I had with them were as good as at a fancy restaurant The staff member on duty was helpful and te service was quick and efficient. It was really cheap too :) There isn't much more to say. I wouldn't drive miles to get there for a meal but If I were shopping around there and wanted lunch I'd go to Sainbury's cafe.

Normally the food here is very good but this time the cheese omelette was rubbery and the chips were soft and soggy also the coffee was watery. Staff did offer to change the meal but that was after we had eaten most of it. Given pass experience we will try it again when next in the area.

Nice food which is well cooked at very reasonable prices. We eat here often and have never had cause to complain.

Service and food was great. I had jacket potatoes with beans and asked for a slice of ham. It arrived with garnish and the potato was just right and not waxy. My friend had fis and chips which she thoroughly enjoyed.

Waited over an hour for a breakfast today , people were asking for their money back and walking out, terrible service so understaffed when our breakfast finally did arrive was Luke warm won't be returning in a hurry 😡

Stopped for lunch and very impressed with value and quality of food, Big Breakfast still being served and was fab and not a drop of grease to be seen. Big mugs of tea are also a great idea. Staff very friendly.

A handy place for a refreshing cuppa and snack after doing your shopping. A view of the trains coming in and out of Bognor. Pleasant staff and limited menu.

I needed to go to Argos to purchase an item, I thought I could have breakfast at the same time. Argos in in Sainsbury’s, the till service was not welcoming, I ordered and it turned up not looking good. I started to eat and the bacon, sausage, beans and tomato were warm. The only hot item was the egg, the toast had been pre buttered and gone soggy. Overall not good. I usually go to littlehampton Tesco and have no complaints, the service is very good and they always bring my coffee to the table. I walk with a stick. Do not think I be back here, you even get better service at McDonald’s.

Initially this café was lovely, but recent visits the tables are dirty and stained and it would appear they do not have enough staff to clear and clean.

Good choice for breakfast. Plenty seats and of course plenty of car parking. You can chose from a five part breakfast or full English breakfast. Cereals and fruit if you want it.

cant say a lot about this place apart from the breakfast we had was ok but it was all under heat lamps to keep it warm after cooking and had become a little dry only things made to order were the fried eggs...otherwise ok if you want a cheap and quick breakfast with no hanging around

Love this cafe, amazing views of the South downs. Friendly and happy staff on the till, especially Sue and Sharon.

The food and service at this Sainsburys is Excellent, good variety and hot or cold meals available. Has also very clean rest room and offers baby changing, disabled. Will be back for more. Sorry unable to rate as system will not let me,

I use this restaurant a lot and always great, good selection of meals starting with breakfast through to dinner. The staff are all very efficient and friendly and because I am a regular know what I drink which is a nice touch. Big spacious with nice views, a lift and free parking. Have tried Chichester and it was terrible from the service to the staff, the food and the tables. Try Bognor it’s great.

Often pop in here when we are shopping at Sainsburys. Food and drinks are good and reasonably priced. The staff have always been really friendly, happy and helpful. Very popular with older people for lunchtimes as good, reasonably priced food

The three of us have thoroughly enjoyed their Beef Pie with Mash and Peas, with gravy on one day, then a large fish and chips another day. The last meal in the last two weeks being a marvellous, moist and delicious pork shank with puny lentils, roast baby carrots and veg. Well done. Service excellent, tables clean, service with a smile all the Food at very reasonable prices. It's worth getting the car out to eat here and it's a great way to finish the shopping trip. So surprising to find a Supermarket making food fresh to order. Beats those keep lukewarm trays of meals made hours before which deteriorate in heat and taste during the day.

I have had many breakfasts here and never been disappionted. They have a good selection and low cost coffee.

Went to the cafe here to find certain favourites for many customers had been changed or removed. Come on management if it is not broken don't try fix it. We had flexibility under the old menu. I and other customers aren't happy with this.

No complaints. Great "full English", brought to our table very promptly by a pleasant lady for our party of four. Food hot and tasty and good price. Had hunger pains the previous morning at Robin Hood/Premier Inn with their continental breakfast. Seen some negative reviews about this Sainsbury's, but we found it good.

This is a nice place to go before, or after a shop. There is plenty of seating for everyone, and is kept very clean.

Meet every Thursday with my friend for a coffee .this cafe is always busy so expect to wait! There's a nice view over the fields and can see trains going by slowly to and from station .food ok good value but coffee is excellent a must to try and reasonably priced ,after go do some shopping ,you can park for 2hours free .

Never been to a Sainsbury's cafe before, and we were very agreeably surprised. Light and spacious, lots of people eating a cooked breakfast, which was served at the table, and so was probably freshly cooked. Good value at £4.20. Will go again.

We stayed in Shripney and dropped into Sainsburys Cafe for breakfast. The food was hot, wholesome and the service was efficient.

We called in for breakfast a and were genuinly surprised at the good quality of the food delivered ,a good choice ,at a very good price ,well cooked (full english) quick and delivered promptly.

We eat here alot, we've also tried all the other cafes in sainsburys from chi, Rustington, Worthing even some up north and this one is by far the best.

The service was so slow, we queued for around 25 mins which was ridiculous as there appeared to be lots of staff but none serving. Get your act together Sainsbury's!

Staff super friendly and they sell Cartmel sticky toffee pudding - two winning combinations! Great for a cheap hot meal.

We decided to stop off at this branch of Sainsbury's to do some essential shopping and get something to drink in the first floor cafeteria. On getting to the serving counter I was impressed with the reasonable prices and we ended up going for the fish and chips with mushy peas (not such a common thing where I live in Germany), macaroni cheese with a lot of salad and the pulled pork bun with an unexpectedly large portion of coleslaw and chips. We washed this down with pots of tea. Our order was taken by a friendly, chirpy lady at the counter who gave us a number to identify us when our food was ready.

usually a bit burnt, but the fish and chips other people order always look smashing. sometimes a bit chaotic but that's probably because it's Saturday staff

Truly dreadful. health and safety issues abounded - staff without hats, hairs in the food, staff wandering in and out of the toilets with their protective wear on. Cuts on hands not covered, and to top it all, the food was sub "transport cafe" at best.

Cafe has a Lovely view over fields, great coffee well priced nice and pleasant staff but bit slow serving! It's clean good value for try it!

Terrible I found a hair in my food the cutlery was dirty and the plates had bits of dried old food still stuck to them 😡

We came today for our evening meal. It is great value for money. Lovely tasty food.... I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal here. The staff are wonderful. A lot of selection on their menu. Clean and tidy. Accessible for people with disabilities. Toilets easily accessible for the disabled members of our society. Toilets are nice and clean too!

We often visit this cafe over all sainsburys cafe due to the lovely staff and great food. Although this cafe gets very busy staff are always polite and do their best for you. Food is always great and cannot fault it. It is always busy when we visit so they must be doing something right! Best cafe in Bognor.

Needs a good clean - the jar that you get the straws out of is minging. I had lasagne and it was disgusting. It was flat - served on a plate rather than in a dish! I've never seen anything like it. Tasted horrible and was clearly microwaved. Not cheap either. Avoid like the plague.

Staying at the time at a not so good caravan park we used this restaurant quite often. Not living too far away from Bognor Regis, we have used this restaurant quite often when out for the day. Friendly staff and good food at a reasonable price.

Exceptional Slow to do our order. We waited 55 minutes for 3 cooked breakfasts and our drinks were given to the wrong table. Not impressed at all

Lots of tables, attentive staff, a lift that will take you and your trolley full of shopping to the cafe, and good value food, what else could you ask for in a supermarket store?
