Quiet Sunday evening - all spick and span after what must have been a busy Sunday lunch service. Fish and chips good as always in Wetherspoons, staff very friendly and efficient.

Cheap & cheerful! Nothing flash but quick service, fresh clean pints (much better than everywhere else as I know Spoons cleans their lines every week). Food isn't exactly michellin star but does the job given the price. Small plates offers good and loads to choose from.

For a spoons it's got to be one of the cleanest I've been in. Staff are so friendly, I get serviced quickly and always with a smile, I chatted to the boss Rae, she was lovely, never felt so welcome. Worth a visit.

Great place for a cheap and cheerful meal, Last Wednesday of the month can go to play Warhammer and enjoy some drinks.

First visit in a while, and can’t remember why we stopped coming so often. But we will be back visiting every week for our get togethers. Food and service great. Lovely staff.

Must be at least 10 years since I've been to a Wetherspoons, so was interested to see what it was like. I ordered at the bar as I didn't want to give my Email address to another company and be spammed for years until I eventually get round to unsubscribing. The food came inside of 20 minutes which was fine and bar staff were quick and efficient too. The burger looked pretty unappealing and didn't taste great. Kinda looked like it had just been microwaved. Onion rings were good and chips were fine. I certainly wouldn't recommend anyone go for the burger though. Think I had the double patty with cheese bacon. The food was at least cheap.

Average service, good location and walking distance to seafront

Having been a customer at the hatters in Bognor for years was shocked to see how bad the food is now went yesterday with my daughter for lunch we ordered a cheese panini chips & a gourmet burger 🍔 the food was shocking the panini was just bread , my gourmet burger which should be a gourmet thick burger I was given 2 thin burgers was told this is how it comes nothing like what it’s says in the menu , I will never be returning after the attitude of the staff , see pictures below tell me that’s acceptable

Frankly the worst wetherspoons I've ever been in. Nice door staff but dirty surroundings, slow service, slack management and poor overall experience. Tables were a mess, glasses were mounted up and staff just stood socialising. I tried to talk to the on duty supervisor who laughed at me. I then called in, but the management refused to talk to me and was very rude over the phone. Charming. I have since received apologies off head office, needless to say we won't return.

Absolutely rubbish... order was all wrong it was cold asked for a replacement looks like it was microwaved and bought back out, my friends order i changed fried eggs to poached and come out with fried and poached eggs, taken back again replaced with 2 poached eggs beans were awful, only thing that was good was the coffee. Seems they need a shake up in the kitchen, and the man on the tills needs to wait to be told whats wanted not pop in things you dont. There was more refunds going on in there this morning then ever ive seen, He was more concerned about going on holiday tomorrow than in the pub.. wont be going here again..

It's wetherspoons ,so you get what you pay for, having said that,my Korean dish was tasty and the wine was nice so for the price,it's good value for money.

This was the first time I’ve visited Hatters in Bognor in about 10 years and it looks and smells exactly the same. I could be wrong but there has been no refurbishments or updates to the carpet or furniture in this pub but that probably makes us for the cheap food and drink. I am probably being kind giving four stars as its a pretty run down place, especially in the Queensway opposite Iceland. The fry up was nice and the staff seemed decent enough, but the foreign older man working behind the counter did struggle to grasp some of the English of the customers. For £7 I got a large breaky and unlimited coffee so I can’t complain too much!

Food great. Service great. Only problem was app and restaurant ordering system was not communicating so you had to order from the bar.

It was manic, staff can not control children running around like wild animals and screaming, the worst spoons ever, it’s disgusting will never return.

Dirty and full of drunks should have more security and be cleaned often it’s not nice for kids who visit to see this. People being sick outside the door is so disgusting

Absolutely abysmal. When the food arrived the server said "Enjoy your meal" but it was pretty obvious from the way he said it, that he had absolutely no expectations that I would. I've replaced my last poor review, with a recent experience. I ate there last night and had the special which was an American double burger. This was absolutely awful and one of the worst meals I've ever had out. The meat was dry, the chips were like wet cardboard There was supposed to be ketchup and American mustard and red onions and gherkin with the burger..... The gherkin was sliced very thin and might as well have not been provided. The onions and mustard and ketchup were a smear on one of the buns, such a tiny portion the mustard and ketchup weren't visible and might not have been there, and the onions such a tiny portion then they were little more than the size of a tiny two-piece coin in the centre of the bun. Such a tiny portion that was impossible to taste them. The burger bun was dry.

Went for breakfast, cheap and cheerful. Get what you ask for and refills on tea and hot chocolate.

Visited here on the 5th July, in order for my mum to meet with her family following her birthday and my uncle coming to the end of some medical treatment. It was great to spend time in a relaxed atmosphere, despite the bar being busy at times, we still did not have long to wait to be served. Some of us chose to eat and there was a great selection on offer of pub food along with healthier options and small plates for the kids and those with smaller appetites. Apologies to the staff as not being a regular visitor here, so not knowing names to thank individually, but their attention, intentions and service were great on the day and when next in Bognor will be sure to pop by. Most meals came with a beverage, either alcoholic or non-alcoholic, so be sure to order your food when you need a top-up. There is parking available nearby for designated drivers. Free refills on teas and coffees. The spend per person marked includes food, but for someone having a small plate and a tea/coffee or soft drink is/could work out a bit cheaper. Street level entry and wheelchair accessible.

Quick drink, staff overworked and under resourced to clear tables.

Absolute disgrace......sat there for 45mins....then silly balls behind the counter asks what I'm ordering.....been waiting for a pencil and paper to order 12 breakfasts....sorry to say the 12 breakfasts went elsewhere.....bit of effort would have got 120 quid.....but no....and superglued to floor due to never being cleaned....

Terrible !!!! Badly run by management!!! No eggs,bacon or bread… Simple ingredients.. So no breakfast!! Then no standard fizzy drinks on pump Only cans or bottles. Then team member cleared our table when we hadn’t even finished Even thou we left stuff on table to state we was coming back Staff told us to retrieve our drinks ets from bin area No thanks!! Dissatisfied not up to jd’s reputation!!

A very decent Wetherspoon's just off of the high street in Bognor Regis. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and the pub was very busy and there were quite a few empty tables that weren't cleared the whole time we were there.

Rotten small fish and chips.overcooked or a reheat.it was a mini fish and chips not a small.full of batter and little fish.

A busy place but we were served quickly but the tablets weren't cleared very quick

Came here for breakfast and ordered from the app they decided to serve the customers at the bar instead of the app so it’s a lot easier to order at the bar. Secondly normally don’t have trouble with American breakfast but they put half maple syrup instead of a full pot for my pancakes so had not a lot of syrup on my pancakes.

I have not been in a Spoons since I don’t know when! But here it was, just the same even though a different town. I met with a new group of friends and it was Sunday Lunchtime. The whole place was loud and crowded, but we got a seat OK. The beer is cheap, as is the food and it does what it says on the tin. No frills though! But at £2 a pint for my preferred beer, as opposed to £6 in a restaurant I was not going to complain! We could have done without however, the leery blokes who were drinking heavily and being louder than a football match crowd. The staff were excellent and our food arrived quickly. (You have to get your own condiments, but there are plenty about.) At £7 for a burger, (no frills, i.e no lettuce or garnish or other fillings, chips and a pint, you can’t really complain!) But I would only go here with other women and not a place to go on my own due to some of the clientele.

My wife and I had a lovely meal with a pint of craft ale,we are both vegetarian,it was a nice change to have a big choice of food. The staff are very friendly with quick food delivery.

First steak was raw ,sent it back as I asked for medium and got another that was well done again asked for medium that was full of grisel and couldn't even chew it . The staff were nice and it came out quickly.my friends meal was fine (jacket potato) won't order steak again but will return as it's cheap and normal ok .

We had a lovely blustery walk from Butlins to the town. I spotted the Spoons on the way back from the museum (worth a visit BTW) and stopped for a very pleasant couple (4) of pints. Comfortable, lots of seat, nice staff and reasonable prices. We didn't eat here so I can't comment on the food. Overall a good experience.

Normally a good pub but when I ordered my cheesy chips it came out just with napkins no fork and then when I asked for a fork she forgotten to get one so I had to wait for a while.

I went here while visiting friends. Good sized pub, plenty of places to sit and well cleaned tables. Prices as you would expect and staff were extremely friendly. We ordered food which was served promptly.

Busiest place around in Bognor in winter months

Popped in for a drink. Pleasantly surprised. Very polite welcoming staff. All staff uniformed . I engaged in conversation with the duty manager Mark, who was very smart in a shirt and tie. Very friendly . Ladies toilets are spotless. Very cheap drinks. What’s not to like..

Food ok. Tables too close together 1st visit so unaware I had to get coffee from machine so empty mug meant nothing! Had to ask another customer. It was initially very busy

Left my phone charger by mistake and there staff had stolen it and said that I didn't, there staff are arrogant and obnoxious who only care for themselves and steal other properties

Lovely meal in a friendly place!

Visited just before lunchtime on a Monday, following a ‘weekender’ at the nearby Butlin’s resort (something I’m sure the staff must - or at least should be - aware of). The place was packed out but not adequately staffed to cope. Drinks came within 5-10mins of ordering through the app, but food service took over an hour. During that time we weren’t kept updated or checked in on. Signage inside is confusing - one hangs near the bar saying ‘toilet’ in large letters, but only when you get close does it say they’re behind you and to turn back the way you just came from. My food was pretty awful, but others on my table seemed to enjoy theirs so maybe I just made a bad choice (veggie burger with peppers). I didn’t feel there was much choice for a vegan though - certainly nothing I could enjoy from the breakfast menu. I normally avoid Spoons and this visit only served to remind me why that is.

Only go there for a Friday drink after work. It's usually quiet round midnight. Can't comment on the food never ate there

Standard Wetherspoon format, large bar area and great value for money. Staff were very polite, warm and welcoming. We had burger meals which were great value for money.
