Best jukebox in the country. But couldn’t hear it because the bar person and a couple of locals had the horse racing on a Tv. I asked said bar person to turn the jukebox up . Which she did. But he increased the volume of the tv.

Perfect way to start or finish your walk along a great beach. Very pleasant to sit in or out. Kippers and crab sandwiches are just amazing. Beer ever better. A must if you’re here. Dog friendly

Sunday lunch review Luke warm & bland, very poor & disappointed as nearly £16 for a main course, thought it would have been good as in a great place for visiting Hadrian’s Wall Nice atmosphere, inattentive young staff

Love this pub, and as a non drinker it was made even better by the fact that they had zero on pump. The atmosphere is always fabulous, the staff friendly and the food is fantastic. Husband says its a great pint. Dog friendly too. What more can you want.

Absolutely amazing! We found this restaurant online whilst on a stay in the area. The service was some of the best I have received, and the food was fantastic. I ordered the ribeye steak and this was cooked to perfection. All my family had empty plates… a rare sight when eating out with fussy children. I wish I lived closer to this establishment because I would certainly visit more frequently. Thank you.

Oh this beautiful café is a real find, tucked away of the main drag, in a cute side street that goes on towards the Stepping Stones across the Wansbeck. We were given a really warm welcome and had our suitcases as we'd just arrived from Birmingham and our apartment wasn't ready. They were really lovely and accommodating. OMLETTES are on the menu !!!!💕🙏🏻💕🙏🏻💕🙏🏻💕🙏🏻💕 🥚 🪺 And they serve them all day !!! Mine was a double cheese and mushroom omlette and it was delicious. The Man had the Steak Pie and omg that isn't a pie, it's sensational - the meat is plentiful, melt in the mouth and the gravy is delicious, this is home cooked food like your grandma used to make, it's REAL, traditional food and tastes really good because it's high quality food! We had a trifle and a cheesecake for dessert, both were gorgeous and what we really loved, they were not full of sugar, like modern desserts are, these were just right. If you're sick of slick modern try-to-hard cafes, come here for some real soul, warm hearted banter and decent food 💕💗💕🌷🌼

Great place with a wonderful view of the river. The hot chocolate was the best tasted in Berwick. The pastries were delicious and the lady who owned the place was extremely friendly. Thank you The Lookout.

Visited Longhoughton cafe before visiting Bamburgh Castle for a xmas event with staying family members. Very poor service despite us being the only visitors in there on our arrival. We ordered five meals. Husband ordered a full vegan breakfast, items missing. When approached by a server, she did confirm items were missing but husband had almost finished his meal and declined the offer to eat just two sausages when she offered to order them. My eggs on toast were cold and unappealing. Another full cooked breakfast ordered came with small portions when previously have been large. Only one breakfast ordered and recieved appeared correct. Total came to £71.00 that included a child's breakfast of two slices of bacon!. Our daughter paid and I didn't wish to complain at this time so close to xmas with family. All in all a disappointing visit. Service is inconsistent. Similar disappointing experience at Longframlington cafe some weeks prior when visited for lunch. I do feel that you can have much nicer meals elsewhere and cheaper. Northumberland is blessed with lovely villages and tearoom/cafes offering much nicer options at a lesser cost. We have visited a few times. Sadly, with inconsistent meals. Not always appetising. Whilst the cafe itself is nice inside, outside looks shabby. Parking also an issue. Servers approach too is also inconsistent, whilst some staff appear friendly and pleasant, others appears to be rude and surly. Its not for us.......we shall not be returning again.

It’s was wet and windy when we walked past this little cafe. They had a spare table so we popped inside. The two ladies were very friendly and we ordered tea and cake. They offered a couple of GF choices (although they were not separated from the other glutinous cakes). The cafe itself was quite basic and sitting near the window, we noticed the window beds were not very clean at all. It’s a little tired and needs some love but it did the job.

Great selection of beers. Staff lovely but please can someone show them how to pour a proper pint of Guinness!!! Went after the footie but telly still on soooo loud

One of the best experiences I ever had, room are clean, stuff very friendly, housekeeping are just kindness people in the world. Close to everywhere. Prices are not extra high, so is affordable. I really have great time, as soon I can come back I definitely will.
