End-of-the-night favourite – great atmosphere and always a laugh! Barca’s always the place we head towards the end of the night – never disappoints. Great vibe, loud enough to feel lively but you can still have a chat. It’s always busy, but in a good way. Really solid beer selection and the door staff are genuinely friendly, which makes a big difference. They even let us bring in Sophie (our black boxer puppy) – and she got plenty of attention! Everyone loved her. Always a great night here – keep being class, Barca.

Excellent breakfast with Spanish waiter (Pepe).

Nice cafe with good food options. It’s card-only so bear that in mind if visiting. While my smoothie was excellent and a good size, my wife’s apple juice portion was a tad small. Lemon cake and malteser shortbread was great. All in all a good stop

This is a bit of a hidden gem of tynemouth for food, drink and location. The food is incredible and mirrors the menu available within the grand, Brilliant line up on the bar and service is spot on. We’ve been in for roast dinners (served every day!!) a few times now and always delicious and consistent. We visited today with the dogs after a long walk along the beach. Much nicer and fairly priced compared to some nearby places.

Lovely staff and service, stopped off on our walk for coffee and it was one of the best I've had, fabulous, love this place 😀

Food was pleasant, we had burgers. Our waiter was called James, he was really friendly. Would come back for the service and drinks.

Coffee was delicious, around 2:30 p.m. there wasn't much of a selection of sweets left, the ambience - well - there are nicer things.

We had reserved a table for 3pm and we were told we needed to leave at 3:40 for the next customer . We had just finished the meal not even finished our drinks. I would not go back and would not recommend. You can’t kick customers out for the next customer if they have only been there 40 mins and are still finishing their drinks..

Visited for first time today with hubby and our dog Archie. We has filter coffee, latte and pup cup and we're not disappointed (especially Archie). Lovely friendly lady who served us and it was lovely yo sit out in the sun. We used the rest rooms and these were spotless. Would 200% recomnend

Such a bad experience. We ordered some snacks for the table and the bar staff somehow charged me £19 for some loaded fries and onion rings. Luckily I noticed this and showed the bar staff proof of what happened and they gave me the difference back. But the food was another thing. It was utter trash. The bacon loaded fries was just a few thin oven chips with cheese and less than one bacon cut into 3 or 4 slips for under £7. The onion rings came out freezing cold. The venue looked better than what the food and the staff skills were.

Don’t know what has happen we have had Tea and cakes here before and it has been enjoyable with comfortable seating outside, But now the outside table are dirty and broken in places, the ground needs a good clean, The toilets are a disgrace broken floor tiles with a feeble attempt to glue them together, broken toilet seat and broken taps on the sink,. But what put me off completely was the flies on the cakes, yes the cakes are in cases put the backs are open, there was no one in and I’m really not surprised, but ice creams seem to be popular with walk-ins Sorry to say we Definitely will not be back

This is now the greenhouse and I’ve submitted this review there too. Terrible fish and chips - small, flat fish with horrible batter and hard chips. And it was expensive - so definitely not value for money. Service was also slow.

Had a couple of pizza and one beer and one zero alcohol beer. Bill came to £35 which I thought was expensive as the drinks were £12.50. Pizza were average but the service food. Too expensive for me so won’t be rushing back.

Average food, with tasteless sausage and chips. Over-priced for what you get and they charge 50p for a tiny tub of ketchup and wanted to charge another 50p when I asked for extra ketchup. Unhelpful attitude from the staff. All in all a disappointing meal, will not be buying food here again.
