Lovely bakery with incredible baked goods, definitely worth a visit. The breads are beautiful & so are the various cakes.

Excellent venue for a family funeral reception, for a dear Auntie who had sadly passed on. This was her daily meeting venue where she always met for coffee & cakes with her lady friends group. Outstanding catering facility for our 30-40 pax, professionally hosted by proprietors Michael & Vicki, demonstrating empathy and compassion. A must visit venue for your refreshments, cakes & snacks, complimented by an outside courtyard at the rear and gifts & clothes boutique inside. Why was this place nearly empty? It should be full!!!!! The cheese scone was just out of the oven and was delicious! The coffee as great and the prices very reasonable in my opinion. The staff were very friendly and the cafe also has loads of craft things for sale which were high quality. Go there you will enjoy it!

Really friendly guy and some good coffee and little breakfast! Nice location just outside the city center. And a good reason to cross one of the beautiful bridges.

I love coming here. Always made to feel so welcome. I've decided they have the most delicious selection of cakes in all the North East! Not open all week is probably a good thing for the waistline as I'd happily visit daily!!!!!!

We have had afternoon tea and artisan bread box delivered everything was fabulous from the sandwiches savouries scones and fresh cream cakes it was all delicious The bread box was full of delicious bread, muffins croissants, brownies and scones and a chocolate fudge cake.Forget about Paul Hollywood and Bake Off and get yourself off to Davidson’s at Darras Hall

Mi hija me compró una cata de cerveza Groupon para el día del padre. Ella estaba de visita desde Nottingham y decidimos ir juntos. El bar está integrado en los arcos ferroviarios detrás de la Estación Central y tiene dos pisos. Tomamos un trago rápido antes y encontramos al personal extremadamente útil para hacer nuestra elección inicial de cervezas artesanales. Fuimos arriba para la degustación y éramos 6 y un tutor muy amable y experto. La sesión fue muy informal y la discusión fue mucho más allá de las cervezas que probamos, lo que resultó ser un momento muy agradable. Las cervezas eran todas muy diferentes y nunca volveré a devolver una cerveza artesanal nublada; estaban deliciosas, pero la revelación fue la cerveza ácida de la que nunca había oído hablar. Tuvimos un tiempo entretenido y lo seguimos en Bridge Tavern, donde nuestro tutor era el cervecero, probamos otra de sus recomendaciones y vimos que también se estaba preparando en los "tuns", un buen final para una agradable velada.

Gave up waiting for a table at the biscuit factory so thought we’d try here. Had a club sandwich and carrot cake. Top notch food and quick service. Highly recommended

Very flexible prices at Molly's Tearoom and antiques. Today 16/9/23 I went in for a mannequin that I had seen priced at £250 a couple of week ago. No price tag today, so I asked how much, the guy said £495. Now, was that optimistic price because I had a southern accent, I reckon that he assumed I was on holiday. I actually live in Teesdale not that far away. Definitely think he was taking the micky.
