The let down is you can only change one item if you want the set breakfast. On the menu it does not say tinned tomatoes, the Scottish potato cakes dry and hard. Sausage below par. The toast was hard almost impossible to cut or eat. They need to buy better quality bread. More expensive than Brewers fayre and not as good. Staff service excellent service.

Had breakfast today. Excellent quality, good service and excellent value for money. Thought we’d been under charged! Cakes look amazing. Too full to try today but we’re coming again tomorrow for breakfast and cakes to take home. It will add an extra hour to our journey home but it will be well worth it. Thank you.

We've visited before and were very impressed, so when we found ourselves in Berwick today I was looking forward to a return visit. I checked on their Facebook page which said Saturday opening till 4pm. However, when we arrived at just before 2.30 I was told, despite all the specials boards being on display, that it was now coffee and cake only as they close at 3! Very disappointing and had we known we would have eaten in Berwick instead and saved ourselves the bother.

Visited twice during our recent stay in Berwick. Food was lovely both times, and took a couple of lovely brownies home with us. Dog friendly which is always a bonus for us. Highly recommended.

Decided to try here for some breakfast before setting off for our journey home. It was quite busy (& seems very popular) but we got a table right away. Bit of a wait for our food but it was cooked to order & was lovely. We chose the option 2 breakfast which included 2 rashers of bacon, 2 large sausages (I'm very fussy about sausages but these were lovely), slice of black pudding, slice of Haggis, large hash brown, potato scone, fried egg, mushrooms & tomatoes plus cup of tea & toast. The price was £11 each which thought was worth it as it lovely. If we are up that way again we would definitely eat there again as the staff very lovely & the cakes etc... looked gorgeous but I couldn't eat anything as I was too full!

Excellent food and lovely service. The pancakes with golden syrup were the best I have ever had. Fluffy and delicious not like some rubbery ones from other places. Very helpful staff who served one of our meals very promptly as requested because my grandson had to go to work. It was our first visit but it won’t be the only visit.

We were looking for a stop on the A1 and this is a minute from the A1 just south of Berwick Upon Tweed. It was a great find! The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the food was delicious. It was busy but the service was efficient and well run. Great range of food options, including for children.

Disappointed- this was my favourite place to visit however it has gone downhill. Food was of a poor standard, bread wasn’t fresh, chips cooked in old oil and not the usual chipshop chips (appeared frozen), contents of the ciabatta and toasties has been cut with them being hardly filled however prices have gone up. Not what it used to be - disappointing and don’t plan on returning unless it improves. Cups and glasses dirty. Salad was always so fresh and of a high standard, however my visit was poor in seeing the salad was not fresh tasting and not what it used to be. Loved this place so much but gutted to see it’s not the same.

Not the usual standard, chips (See photo) not great, usually get fresh chippy chips, these were frozen hips, reheated in what seemed like 'oil not being hot enough.' Chicken sandwich, very small peove of chicken in it, could see bits of chicken in the display fridge, perhaps a bit fell out, had it been checked that would have noticed. Shame, and first time the food hasn't been really good.

Visited for breakfast which was served freshly cooked and tasty. Negatives are served a dirty cup and spoon which was changed. Breakfast served on a plate with a large chip out of it. On pointing this out was told yes a lot of the plates are like that…

Nipped in here after a stressful 24hours and it was just what the doctor ordered. A simple but tasty meal for sustenance in a pleasant atmosphere. Time to relax and enjoy some good food before getting back to things.

We came to the area to get walking boots next door at Go Outdoors but were delighted to find this place serving fantastic ciabattas with crisps and lovely salad! The halloumi one was soooo tasty! Plus the rice crispy slice and fudge chocolate brownie was fab takeaway for our walk on Holy Island in the afternoon. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We noticed a couple who asked if they could just have a basic sandwich without all the trimmings and the staff were so willing to make for them whatever they wanted, it was no problem! Also the fact we could take our well behaved Whippet in with us was the icing on the cake! Great place so glad we found it!

Been here a few times before and always enjoyed their food and treats! We stopped here in the middle of a long drive and found it very difficult to decide what to order. Ended up with a chocolate orange brownie cookie (with the brownie in the middle!) Which was very nice. Also got a piece of the Mars, biscoff and Milka cookie pie which was amazing. We were going to eat it later but they suggested warming it up as it was even nicer, and they were right! They brought it out on a plate and it was warm and gooey and tasted amazing. Very filling and good price for the size. We will definitely be back!

Great food and drink offering all day and very friendly service. Conveniently located just off the A1. Highly recommended.

Been here once before, decided to go in for a cuppa and some cake. We were told it was table service by a waitress. We sat down at a table and waited ten minutes to get our order taken. This was three hot drinks and two cakes so not really a lot of effort. It took half an hour for it to come in the mean time a table had ordered breakfast and they got a cooked breakfast before we got our stuff. We had somewhere to be in the afternoon. Seriously a lot of staff and not very well organised. I like to support local businesses but I felt the whole thing was disorganised.

Trip to Cocklawburn beach with the dog on Sunday morning and then stopped here for breakfast. Advised it would be a 30 minute wait as it was busy. That was fine as we sat outside in the sun. Fantastic breakfast (ask for beans and tomatoes) and the staff were absolutely lovely and accommodating. A hidden gem just off the A1

Lovely breakfast (available until 2pm) for three of our party and jacket potato for the fourth member. All meals were good, friendly, prompt service. Cafe was very busy and people regularly stand waiting for tables. They have a board for specials, which unfortunately is at floor level infront of the main counter where people queue. Maybe this board could be hung on a wall to make it easier for dinners to see. I would recommend a visit here if your passing.

Stopped off after a lovely walk on Spittal Beach, upon entering the cafe the counter is mesmerising with delicious savoury and sweet offerings. Filter coffee was delicious and can highly recommend a visit if you’re ever in the area. Such a warm and welcoming environment, the girls behind the counter are always friendly and smiling. The pancakes were amazing! The cooked breakfasts were fantastic! I would have come back every day if I could have, but we had things booked and couldn't make it every day. Staff were really lovely and friendly. Would 100% recommend this place!

From breakfast to fish and chip dinners plus great choice of cakes, scones, soup etc. Busy but service quite fast. Very reasonably priced but ONLY TAKE CASH.
