Amazing food! Amazing staff! Had my wedding catering made and all of this was delicious and beautifully presented! Thank you so much for everything and making my day stress free! Will 100% recommend and will be back again!

Great ladies Clean £5-95 proper breakie - fantastic Not 5 star as air heavy with fried food…better ventilation would be champion for staff as well.

I stopped at Samms Cafe on my way to Woodhorn Museum and I was amazed at how reasonable the prices were, £ 5.50 for a full English breakfast is a real bargain. Who can argue with such a reasonable price these days for a meal that contained beans,, bacon, two eggs, black pudding, hash browns and two slices of toast. No wonder locals in Ponteland rave about Samms for its high quality, very reasonable meals, friendly staff and good service. I was very impressed and will be returning.

Oh my god what a find!!! Just recently started working in Ponteland and found this little pot of gold, staff are amazing, food is amazing, choice is amazing simply put its AMAZING. Portions are plentiful and excellent value for money, Sam is super nice and so far what she has made me on request has not disappointed, lunchtimes are an absolute joy now I’ve found Samms Cafe x

Visited today for lunch with work friends, absolutely amazing food, large portions and very good prices. My homemade chilli and homemade nachos was gorgeous. Been coming here for years and never ever had a bad meal, the staff are so lovely will do anything for you, always has a nice atmosphere aswell. Would definitely recommend Samm's. And we always get sweet treats as a gift how lovely is that.

What a little gem this cafe is. The food is outstanding and great value for money. All cooked to order but without long wait, if what you want isn’t on menu, nothing is a bother, if they have the ingredients they will make it for you. My favourite is the peppered steak salad. Staff are so friendly and make you feel welcome. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Recently had Samms cafe cater an event we had , I have to say everything was excellent such great quality food and nothing was too much trouble for the owner ! Will definitely be using Samms again! Highly Recommended!

My work friends and i went for lunch we pre ordered for us going it was quick and great service the food was amazing we all nearly had the meal deals huge portions and super tasty great value for money and the staff are so lovely and very pleasant. We are all definitely going back. Huge thank you for having us all 😁❤

I have ben going to Samms now for two 3 years. I always get a smile with my service and I always go for a breakfast or sarnie. I recommend a standard breakfast. Im a big lad and this fills me up. I can not fault this service food or the friendly ness of the locals. Thanks ladies.

I love the atmosphere here, the staff are so accommodating even if you don’t know what you want! Food is served quickly and is always hot and tasty. A real gem.

I recommend either egg on toast or breakfast burger One of the best in the area. Quality of service I refuse to single out this cafe. As this area is top notch.

We have used Samms Cafe throughout the pandemic and well before then too. The staff are lovely and so friendly, the cold and hot food is made freshly in front of you. The cafe itself has cosy booths for 4-6 people and smaller tables for two people. Even just to pop in for coffee and cake, full breakfast or a quick takeaway lunch on the go is a great local cafe. I would always recommend Samms to anyone looking for a lovely, clean and contemporary welcoming place to meet and eat.. Definitely 5 ⭐️

Today I had the nicest fish & chips, beautifully cooked fish and crispy but fluffy chips, 10/10, the cafe all Covid safe and secure too which is a bonus!

For a quick lunch stop, samms is friendly and the food is high quality. I often pop in for a sandwhich while in the village and i appreciate it everytime

Turned up at a very busy time but made to feel welcome. Ordered a breakfast with tea. Choice of items is great. Didn't have to wait long before a delicious looking plate of food arrived. OMG the bacon rashers were huge and the sausages were so succulent and juicy. Good strong cup of decent tea too. Will definitely return in the new year

Dirty seats, tables and floor. The staff were friendly when taking order, a waste of money, a hot chocolate that tasted and looked like dish water. Very disappointed, I won’t be returning.

This really is a superb little coffee shop. Great Breakfast Choice of beans or tomatoes and a Late for around 6 to 7 quid with a Late. About 4.50 I got two bacon two sausages 1 fried egg Beans two Hash Browns I got a black pudding also and Two Slices of toast And two bits of Butter.well worth your time with kind polite and fair members of staff. I can Not complement the service enough.

I Come over every day with the lads from work for our breakfast. Always cooked to order with a quick turn around for our break. Amazing breakfast and the best coffee around, really sets us up for our day. Definitely recommend. Good value for money.

This has got to be the second worse cup of coffee that I have ever had, they are still looking for the first.Called with my wife for a quick cup of coffee & had a scone for a snack. The Latte Coffee was more water than cream & milk which made it taste absolutely foul & the scone would probably of been better the week before when it was fresh. My wife's Cappuccino was in name only again having been made with water, disgusting. The whole place looked dilapidated & desperately in need of a deep clean. Never again.

My baked potato was brown all inside with black patches near skin and there was a hair in my food. The chicken filling was nice and chips were good too.

Excellent clean, comfortable, traditional cafe. Wide selection of food to eat in or take away, we stayed inside. Service is great and staff attentive and flexible swapping and avoiding cross contamination for those with allergies - VERY IMPORTANT in my case and such a pleasant change to what I am used to! Portions are generous and value for money. Toilet facilities are clean and hygienic.When we are back in the area won't hesitate to drop in again.

Come here with our clients for a drink and dinner. Nice little cafe good value for money girls are always chatty, smiley and friendly.

We live in Ponteland and occasionally pop in here for breakfast . Took friends this weekend, all day breakfast big choice of tasty ingredients. True English breakfast, regular or large . Really cheerful staff and a great pot of tea .

Called in Wednesday lunchtime and ordered the Burrito from the specials menu. It was fantastic and very tasty - healthy too! Staff were great and very attentive and friendly.

Visité Samms Café mientras que en la zona de 10 días. La primera vez que tuve una ensalada de pollo con col y estaba delicioso. La próxima vez cuatro de nosotros desayunamos allí con café. Estoy en una dieta baja en carbohidratos y no quería la patata o tostadas y eran muy adaptables permitirme tener una salchicha/huevo. Cada vez que nueva me bajo en carbohidratos mr como posteriormente y también tenía crema para mi Americano, un sobresaliente!

Nugget poco. Esta es la forma en que un café debería ser --- bien dirigido y organizado, que ofrece una buena variedad de aperitivos y bebidas recién preparado.

Personalmente, creo que no hay mejor una taza de café en Ponteland. Un sabor rico de la parte oscura del tamaño asado. Latte de son agradables y cremoso, que dio en el clavo en la mañana.

Often drop in for a coffee. friendly service, nice coffee, good to take-out too if in a rush. Not much else to say really!

I have been to Samms café I have known the family who own it for years,I had the soup which was delicous and toasted sandwiches. The quality was good and price reasonable. A lot of local people eat there.

I went for a large breakfast after a visit to the doctors and was not disappointed! the girls who work there are pleasant, efficient and the food quality is excellent and not expensive. Locals use it and the girls always have time to talk to them, it seems like a meeting place when they go shopping and stop for a nice coffee and cake. it is very clean and I would not hesitate in eating there

I like this place. It serves simple, straight-forward food and is always busy. The service is polite and efficient, the place clean. I visited almost 2 years' ago before moving to the area, and had a good breakfast. Since then I have only dropped in for drinks. They do a mean mocha (and I am a bit of an expert where mochas are concerned!)It also acts as a community meeting place and all sorts come in.
